Yeah, I think. It was kinda hard at times when it came to how one got influence for ones dice. But if we were to start pleasing each kingdom with each of the actions, then what kinda of roll are we going to need in order to get such a claim of succes in order to equate to an influence dice.

I'm worried about the currently winning plan locking up all our dice for ages, and not putting enough focus on getting more influence dice to replace them, so I've done my own plan.

[X] Plan Winning Friends and Finding the Truth
-[X] - Avelorn. A visit to this kingdom will also lead to a year-long ritual marriage to Queen Alarielle, though hardly anything is required of you. Alariel has already given birth to her eldest daughter from Finubar, who will become her heiress, so you just need to keep up appearances.
-[X] - Suppress the dark elves. Probably the main maritime problem for the Old World was and still is your brethren who followed Malekith. Is it any wonder, therefore, that it is better to try to suppress their threat. But it is worth recognizing that when looking to the east, the struggle against the Nors will be weakened. This decision will obviously be popular with the western outer principalities. - 2 dice
-[X] - Not just a formality. Even though the Queen of Avelorn already has a chosen one, a closer relationship with her would be extremely beneficial to you as a king. For many millennia, dealing with her has been nothing more than a formality, but with her full support, there is no force on Ulthuan that can resist you.
-[X] - Reject your titles. Most of the Kings of Ulthuan, since Caledor the Great, have renounced their previous titles as evidence of their future impartiality and willingness to serve not only for the good of their native land, but of Ulthuan as a whole. However, you could keep these titles for yourself, for example, as a demonstration of your loyalty to the agreements that gave you this throne. Undoubtedly, the aristocrats will like it if you demonstrate dependence on them in this way.
-[X] - Collection of information. So far, there has been little progress in the investigation into his death. Perhaps you should make your own efforts to intensify the search?
-[X] - The involvement of the masters from the White Tower may be useful in determining the exact cause of Finubar's death. Right now, his body is being preserved by the Phoenix guards at the Shrine of Asuryan, but you could try to negotiate with both sides about examining his body.

This plan focuses on winning influence and investigating the previous Phoenix King's death.

Supressing the Dark Elves is an excellent action - it wins support from multiple kingdoms in the west, it increases our security, and with the Norse supressed for now we have a window to do it without much risk on that front. If the DC is the same as the Norse action, by assigning 2 dice we have about a 80%-ish chance of a middle success, and a 40%-ish chance of the best success.

One die to charming the Everqueen and rejecting our titles to hopefully gather influence. Extra dice above one appear to have no effect (though correct me if I'm wrong). This is critical, as it gets us more dice, which leads to more actions.

2 dice on 2 different investigation actions. Seems like we have good odds of one of them turning up a lead, and we need to get that done before the trail goes cold.
Now I'm thinking about that critical success on the norscans. Either way, outside of using 2 dice for the same goal, I'm fine with it to be honest. Well, maybe switching the dice rolls for dark elves and everqueen visit, and the part about rejecting your titles=to more influence, buy yeah I'm perfectly fine with the rest.

I haven't read it yet, I just saw I was mentioned. I'll give it a looksie, but I've got a few things on my plate just yet.
Yeah, I rember about the Haitus back in '19, and I understand the reasoning. So long, as you've got enough time to help set up for the quest to help run smoothly and not crash and burn because of a mistake on the Qm or questers, I'm fine with you doing your own things.

With actions that take multiple years, does that lock up the influence dice for all those turns, or will we still have 6 dice the next turn?

In Imrix's original quest an ongoing option only took up 1 Influence in each following turn to keep going, regardless of how many Influence were spent starting it up. So for example Plan Basic Military Reforms and Investigation spends 2 Influence each on Lothern Sea Guard and the Tiranoc Shipyards, each of which takes 3 turns. So assuming that plan with it would spend 4 Influence on getting those options going but, if they get started, it would only cost 2 Influence total to keep them going for the next turn and the turn after.

@Karlov Is this how multi-turn options work in this quest?

Okay, then we only have lost 2 dice for 3 years, we really need to find a way to get the most likely path to getting more influence dice. Oh, their also seems to be a problem with [X] Plan: Basic Military Reforms and Investigation, because it has us use 8 dice, which we do not have.

Oops, I hesitated for how many influence I would put on each option and forgot to change the numbers when making the plan. Sorry. @Valerian @RookDeSuit @Brewa @Macros @IronFist @Chaeronea @Balmung1 @DerechteNikolaus
I changed it, and put only 1 die for the investigation and the Lothern Sea Guard. I think having a bigger fleet is more important, we can project more power that way.

-[X] - The Lothern Sea Guard, being the same militia, at the same time surpasses them, because it wields a spear, sword and bow at the same time. Isn't it a tempting enough ideal to follow? Takes 3 years.[1 die]
-[X] - Tiranoc is experiencing a renaissance. Before the Sundering, there were shipyards comparable to those in Conthique, but they were flooded centuries ago. Maybe it's time to restore them? Takes 3 years.[2 dices]

No it doesn't.

Visiting Avelorn is part of our coronation tour and does not cost us Influence, just as we cannot use Influence to tour other kingdoms in the same turn in attempt to speedrun our tour.

Lothern Sea Guard takes 2 dice (1 per turn for next 2 turns)
Tiranoc Shipyards takes 2 dice (1 per turn for next 2 turns)
Involving the Masters of the White Tower is 1 dice
Courting the Everqueen is 1 dice

2+2+1+1=6

BTW, what you think about moratorium for voting after start of new turn? And how long it should be?
It depends on the frequency at which you want to update. 12 hours gives time to everyone for reading the update and the conversation, no matter the time zone. But if it's too long, I'd say that 2h is the bare minimum.

Btw, do we have a personal mount?

No. In the case of Caledor, you could get yourself a dragon. Ellyrion could give you a horse like Tyrion's. Kreys and Tiranok - a chariot. Yvresse would allow you to get a griffin. Of course, you can take any horse in the kingdom, but you are not trained to fight on it and such.

Gotcha. Personal mission unlocked: get a Dragon.

Okay, it's unlikely there will be many more votes, so I'll probably close the vote, roll the dice and think about what can be next.

[X] Plan Sherlock and the Dragon Aircraft Carrier
-[X] Caledor. The most aggressive and independent of the kingdoms of Ulthuan, it will clearly require you to visit as soon as possible, as Caledor has historically been one of the most influential principalities.
-[X] Conthique and Eathain have a long history of naval rivalry, and although Conthique's fleet is larger, Eataine has his great dragonships. Perhaps Conthique should start creating something comparable? Takes 3 years. [1 Dice]
-[X] The Princes of Caledor proposed a very specific option. The main problem for any maritime threat is the dragon raid. But even if a dragon can fly over the ocean, it cannot patrol the sea over the ocean for a long time. But... we can build a ship that will carry dragons. Takes 3 years. [1 Dice]
-[X] Collection of information. So far, there has been little progress in the investigation into his death. Perhaps you should make your own efforts to intensify the search? [2 Dice]
-[X] Search for actors. Hmm... a very difficult situation happened with the investigation of Finubar's death. You see, Master Hoeth is only concerned with spies for your dark brethren. But who will spy on all other parties? Usually this is someone appointed by the local prince. If he appoints. [1 Dice]
-[X] At the moment, the prince of Yvresse, Eltharion the Grim, is busy restoring the capital of his principality. And you could help him to a certain extent with this issue by creating a system of tunnels that connect your two principalities through the mountains. [1 Dice]
    [X] Plan: Domestic and fornensic
-[X] - Avelorn. A visit to this kingdom will also lead to a year-long ritual marriage to Queen Alarielle, though hardly anything is required of you. Alariel has already given birth to her eldest daughter from Finubar, who will become her heiress, so you just need to keep up appearances.
-[X] - You would like to continue your own research into the causes of sleep in dragons. Traces in the scales of dragons indicate that they lack something for a fulfilling life and the need for this only grows with age. But what could be the reason for this?[1 dice]
-[X] - The involvement of the masters from the White Tower may be useful in determining the exact cause of Finubar's death. Right now, his body is being preserved by the Phoenix guards at the Shrine of Asuryan, but you could try to negotiate with both sides about examining his body. [2 dice]

Not the worst dice. There's a few more things to check, but for now, you're doing well with Alarielle. And don't look to last dice in first rolls, it's ,y mistake.
