Overlord: Genesis

Holy CRAP, I sometimes thought I was the only one who played these Games!

And now we're gonna be the very first Overlord? Terrorizing the Lands, raising our Dark Banner, taking over the World (OF COURSE!!!) and beating up all these Wannabe Fake-Heroes for the first time in this World's History?!

I. Am. SO. IN!! LET'S GO!!!

    [X] Plan Basic Brown
-[X][Martial] Fits Like A Glove: The gauntlet kit you received is a rather novel idea. Why not put it together and see about adjusting to using it in combat? Being able to use a gauntlet to bat aside blows would be useful.
-[X][Stewardship] Prospecting - After learning more about what treasures are literally waiting in the ground to be found, specifically searching the cliffs and caverns around Castle Gromgard may yield up areas that you can mine for ore or raw gems and crystals.
-[X][Diplomacy] Two Heads are Better: You're at the end of your rope. See if you can find someone in town that may be able to give you some pointers on how to handle things.
-[X][Intrigue] Slinking Skulking Swindler...: Of course there was the other side of the coin there. Trying to track down one of those aforementioned Brigand camps and rob them. Potentially very profitable, but also very risky.
-[X][Learning] "HOW DO YOU WORK?!?!" You need to figure out the differences between Giblet and Gnarl. Why is Gnarl more articulate? And how much more does he differ from the other Minion you've created? What could happen if you create a third?
-[X][Occult] Use the (Life)Force!: This stone uses lifeforce for something. Which is apparently... making more Minions? Go out and kill some things to find out how much you can pack into it.

[X] Plan: Gauntlet, Minions, bandits and some help

-[X][Occult] Facets of Life: This stone is weird. But you seem to have some kind of strange connection to it now. Poke it and see what it does? Maybe with a stick?

... sooo... those were interesting rolls...

You may ponder the implications as I get started on fleshing them out.

One failure isn't bad at all.

The crits nice but it only has a dc of 30 so not that surprising. Edit: or are crits based of breaking 100 or something? That might be better than I thought.

Rolling a 69 on a potential advisor in the overlord setting... is probably going to have consequences.

I'm using the same setup in Aladdin Quest where a crit has to be either a natural 95 or higher and reached the DC; or the result is both double the DC and the end result (plus bonuses) is over a hundred.

Hmmm...It is possible that The Stone further improved our gauntlet and gave it some kind of effect, or we could get a trait.

69 on diplomacy, I think we could get female advisor in for example Stewardship and possibly has goblin blood in her, or she is just a goblin. Goblins are often showed as being greedy, And it would work because no human would join us with Baron being above our heads.

The Bandit one will be nice one, almost a crit, there will be good stuff in there.

Occult and Learning is pretty good I guess. With that there is normal stuff.
