Also also: There will be drug use in this quest, it's the space 60s. Many, but not all drugs will be fictional.​

I feel like this is phrased a little too awkwardly for Sandra, but the spirit of it is right.

For whatever reason, I've started imagining these people as Shakarn from Age of Wonders: Planetfall.



I suppose if they start using holographic disguise technology and sonolasers, we'll know for sure :V

Random guess: the ship is successfully ambushed and destroyed by the gammas while they're out in the shuttle, which results in more of the monoliths being destroyed by stray fire or debris and a time-shattering explosion which sends the shuttle back to before the ship was successfully ambushed and destroyed.
