Prologue: Midian VIII
[X] Let her go, and make use of one of the others' radios. Why would you allow her to contact the ones in charge of this operation when you can do it yourself? Introduce yourself and inform them of their future under your rule, and hear if they have any proposals to make to their new master. The sooner they know of your return, the better.

That woman will not be the one who announces your existence to the human world, only your voice is worthy of doing such a thing. You reach out to one of the kneeling officers, who is frantically begging for you not to hurt him, and grab his radio. You hold it close to your face and turn it on, already hearing several voices on the other side. "We've regained contact with Search Party Squad 1!"
"What's the situation?! Give me a report immediately! Answe—"
"Calm yourself."
You interrupt them, making your way over to the church doors. The human is nowhere to be seen, they most likely fled into the nearby forest rather than running into the village. The perplexed noises coming from the radio die down and make way for an uncomfortable silence. You take this silence as an opportunity to continue. "The vampire you are hunting has been destroyed by me, and the ones you have sent here have been subdued. I know that you have not heard of me, so allow me to introduce myself and explain my intentions.

I am Kars, the Ultimate Lifeform. I demand everyone listening to this to acknowledge that I have already grasped victory. Victory over both this planet, and all of humankind. Do not attempt to resist your fate. Gather all the men you have and come to the church, bow before me, and I will hear out your desires. What is it that your primitive minds thirst for? Power, wealth, fame, immortality? I shall grant all of it to you if you swear loyalty to me, and become the first enforcers of my rule. Resist, and be exterminated."
Silence reigned after you made your decree. Hearing your voice is obviously not as overwhelming as basking in your physical presence, and you do not know how many people are currently listening to this radio, but the lack of a response gives you the distinct impression that these people are having doubts. A stern voice cuts through the silence like a razor-sharp blade. "I have already told you that our most skilled agent is on his way to Cheddar. He should be there soon." Just as you are about to inquire who this agent may be, you hear footsteps in the distance. A tall man dressed in red stares at you from a hundred meters away, but your telescopic vision allows you to inspect him carefully even from this distance. His pale skin and pointed white teeth, which are almost glowing in the moonlight, are obvious signs of his vampiric nature. So humans are using vampires as specialized forces? You wonder. Perhaps you were too quick to judge them. Before you can adequately react, a bullet flies through the air at a surprising speed. It pierces through the radio, destroying it in the process, and would have blown through your skull if you didn't catch it with your inhuman reflexes. With the bullet still between your fingers, you formulate a plan of attack.

[ ] Rush him. Not only would it catch him off-guard, killing their top agent in a short span of time would deal a heavy psychological blow to the humans.

[ ] Send an animal in your stead. It will reveal a trump card to him, but you'll also be able to keep the humans in the church in line and reestablish radio contact more quickly.

[ ] Retreat back into the church and ambush him from the shadows. You will strike once he has lost the range advantage.

[ ] Make an attempt at diplomacy and use the humans as hostages if needed. You assume he is more disciplined than the last vampire you met, but you might be able to turn him to your side with some careful bargaining.

[ ] Write-in.

QM Note: Apologies for the long delay, Christmas and New Year's got in the way. I also had some trouble with figuring out how this choice would end up affecting the story, but things should be going according to schedule again from this point on.

-[X] It's not like these humans' lifes really matters. Funnily enough, if it wasn't for you they would have been already killed by the time this agent came.

Time to see who absorbs who. If they aren't quick enough to release Alucard's restraints, I don't think he stands much of a chance.

You will reach your enemy before he has any time to react, and crush him utterly — You are sure of your victory over this vampire, who appears to be nothing more than a lapdog to a human organization, but do not allow yourself to become careless. The combined efforts of human and vampire-kind could have an as-of-yet unknown trick up their sleeve. The bullet between your fingers does not stay there for longer than a second before you begin your charge, approaching in an indirect path. You gracefully move from left to right, behind buildings and around trees, ensuring that the vampire, who is standing in the center of the village square, never has a clear target. Their pistol is fired several times in rapid succession, the speed of the bullets far higher than what you had experienced prior to your return. The simple advancement of technology, perhaps? Or something relating to the nature of this "agent"? The closer you come, the more you can sense some kind of force lurking inside of the man dressed in red. It floats between illusion and reality, but there is a clear aura of malice surrounding their physical form, as if they are wrapped in a cloak of darkness that outclasses even the strongest of vampires you have seen. What nonsense, if they were truly a cut above the usual rabble, they would have no need to rely on human technology in combat. Subtly shaking your head at the thought, you close into melee range to deliver a swift attack to your new adversary, who acts quicker than expected. He wastes no time in firmly pressing the barrel of his oversized handgun against your forehead, his lips parting to let out an unimpressed comment.
"Well, well... What do we have here? You don't look like the vampire I was ordered to eliminate."
His gloved finger pulls the trigger back, and his weapon prepares to fire. Your reflexes are impeccable though, far superior to the ordinary vampire's, and you might as well have free rein to dispatch the inferior creature however you please...

[ ] Push the pistol's barrel aside and attempt to absorb him.

[ ] Don't bother with avoiding the bullet at all, and instead use the time to charge one of your arm-blades with the Ripple to slice him in half.

[ ] Use your arm-blades to forcefully detach his lower arm from the rest of his body and jump back, making sure they can't try anything while you charge the blade with the Ripple and attack.

[ ] Write-in

QM Note: Keep in mind that the gentleman Kars is currently clashing with has a chance of cutting this quest short.

Yikes. I just think now.....Kars is Alucard Natural Enemy. Ripple, Spec to Eat Vampires, Perfect Organism. Has no weakness (Holy or silver doesn't do extra damage), Can't be defeat by anything on the planet without bs stand powers like Ice Stand or Killer Queen that do complete utter destruction.

Powers Alucard doesn't have. Alucard only have a certain amount of lives. Kars can eat and eat more of alucard and keep going while Alucard slowly dies. Fuck me with Kars biology and the Ripple to strengthen himself....can a bullet fired from alucard gun even hurt him? He doesn't even have the gun to kill Anderson with at this moment of canon.

Well anyway, destroy the gun would remove any way of Alucard doing ANY type of damage to us from far....Then he has to do physical combat....

Then we Absorb him and make sure he can't run away. Kars has Hamon + Ultimate lifeform body. Destroy a mere piece of metal is an ease.

This is fucking Alucard, he absorb souls not just blood i don't think we can absorb him

The votes are already locked, but you do raise an excellent point.
