[X] Let her go, and make use of one of the others' radios. Why would you allow her to contact the ones in charge of this operation when you can do it yourself? Introduce yourself and inform them of their future under your rule, and hear if they have any proposals to make to their new master. The sooner they know of your return, the better.
That woman will not be the one who announces your existence to the human world, only your voice is worthy of doing such a thing. You reach out to one of the kneeling officers, who is frantically begging for you not to hurt him, and grab his radio. You hold it close to your face and turn it on, already hearing several voices on the other side. "We've regained contact with Search Party Squad 1!"
"What's the situation?! Give me a report immediately! Answe—" "Calm yourself." You interrupt them, making your way over to the church doors. The human is nowhere to be seen, they most likely fled into the nearby forest rather than running into the village. The perplexed noises coming from the radio die down and make way for an uncomfortable silence. You take this silence as an opportunity to continue. "The vampire you are hunting has been destroyed by me, and the ones you have sent here have been subdued. I know that you have not heard of me, so allow me to introduce myself and explain my intentions.
I am Kars, the Ultimate Lifeform. I demand everyone listening to this to acknowledge that I have already grasped victory. Victory over both this planet, and all of humankind. Do not attempt to resist your fate. Gather all the men you have and come to the church, bow before me, and I will hear out your desires. What is it that your primitive minds thirst for? Power, wealth, fame, immortality? I shall grant all of it to you if you swear loyalty to me, and become the first enforcers of my rule. Resist, and be exterminated." Silence reigned after you made your decree. Hearing your voice is obviously not as overwhelming as basking in your physical presence, and you do not know how many people are currently listening to this radio, but the lack of a response gives you the distinct impression that these people are having doubts. A stern voice cuts through the silence like a razor-sharp blade. "I have already told you that our most skilled agent is on his way to Cheddar. He should be there soon." Just as you are about to inquire who this agent may be, you hear footsteps in the distance. A tall man dressed in red stares at you from a hundred meters away, but your telescopic vision allows you to inspect him carefully even from this distance. His pale skin and pointed white teeth, which are almost glowing in the moonlight, are obvious signs of his vampiric nature. So humans are using vampires as specialized forces? You wonder. Perhaps you were too quick to judge them. Before you can adequately react, a bullet flies through the air at a surprising speed. It pierces through the radio, destroying it in the process, and would have blown through your skull if you didn't catch it with your inhuman reflexes. With the bullet still between your fingers, you formulate a plan of attack.
[ ] Rush him. Not only would it catch him off-guard, killing their top agent in a short span of time would deal a heavy psychological blow to the humans.
[ ] Send an animal in your stead. It will reveal a trump card to him, but you'll also be able to keep the humans in the church in line and reestablish radio contact more quickly.
[ ] Retreat back into the church and ambush him from the shadows. You will strike once he has lost the range advantage.
[ ] Make an attempt at diplomacy and use the humans as hostages if needed. You assume he is more disciplined than the last vampire you met, but you might be able to turn him to your side with some careful bargaining.
[ ] Write-in.
QM Note: Apologies for the long delay, Christmas and New Year's got in the way. I also had some trouble with figuring out how this choice would end up affecting the story, but things should be going according to schedule again from this point on.
