[X] Talk about...
-[X] Introduce yourself. Be aware you're talking to a young child who just lost her mother; remember what your books said?
-[X] Talk gently, but don't put too much sugar on anything. You don't want to come across as condescending.
-[X] Homura's already made inroads, so use them. Use her.
-[X] Homura's naturally sort of cold, so if you're warmer (without being condescending, again), it'll provide good contrast and make you both look better if you play your cards right.
-[X] Let Momoe-chan start talking about her mother on her own. Maybe it'll go better than bringing things up directly like with Kyousuke.
--[X] Loss is pretty hard. Have we lost a close family member? Maybe we can connect her experiences and ours and let her know she's not alone.
--[X] Talking about it will make her feel better, especially in the long run.
--[X] Encourage Homura to come forward with her own experiences with loss if she's comfortable with it.

Personally I agree with this part of the vote but this isn't really the time or the place for the second half.

Ah, sorry, was binging Ersatz, what'd I miss?
Oh.
...
On a happier note. I don't say that the room will be on fire when we return, but that's only because hospitals usually have excellent anti-fire systems installed. :p

-[Q] Cheese. We have a friend whose color scheme is completely yellow. Would she like to meet her?

[X] Not related, but something to think about after we're done with Nagisa:
-[X] There's a lot of baggage involved with lying, but what exactly is bad about being good at lying? Actually, isn't it a prerequisite for being able to find out if other people are lying to you?
-[X] It'd be very definitely Good to be good at knowing when we're being lied to. Especially if our chosen profession means poking at every skeleton in every closet ever - and doubly so with Kyuubey around.
-[X] Maybe, rather than thinking about lying as a skill we use like a villainess, maybe we should think about it as a prerequisite skill for lie detection, that is necessary for us to do our job, but not particularly palatable as a direct skill. If we do end up using it, we better use it sparingly; we've seen enough anime to know that lies always come back to haunt you!

Omake 6 - Another Side 2
You expected some cute update?
Too bad! It was Shaseyu's stupid only true pairing!

Guys, have SOME faith! They all may be 14 but they are still young adults talking things out.

Awkward silence occupied the hospital room after Madoka left.

Sayaka nervously ruffled her skirt, glancing at Hitomi. 'If only she left with Madoka... Maybe then I would finally have the courage to confess. But to do it in her presence... It's too embarrassing. And what if he rejects me? Or even worse, what if he accepts only to avoid embarrassing me in front of her?'

Hitomi tried to conceal her nervousness behind a smile, glancing at Sayaka. 'Will Sayaka confess now? What should I do then? Should I support her or confess too? Will it be okay for me to confess first? To do it in front of Sayaka... It would be too cruel. But she had so many chances to confess already, it's my turn now, right?'

Kyosuke faintly smiled, looking at his friends. "Well, I think it's a good time to make a confession." He said. "Hitomi, Sayaka, I know about your feelings."

"Whaaaaat?!" Sayaka yelped, blushing.
"Y-y-you know?" Hitomi stuttered, paling.

Kyosuke chuckled, seeing such a reaction, and nodded. "Yes. I knew for some time already, and, truthfully, I feel stupid that I didn't realize it even sooner. Your feelings... well, they're kinda obvious."

Both girls looked at him with the same horrified expression on their faces.
'My feelings are so obvious for him? But wait, he talked with both of us. Does that mean... Is Hitomi too in love with Kyosuke? What should I do?' Sayaka asked herself.
'I didn't expect Kyosuke reading us like an open book! And now Sayaka knows about my feelings to Kyosuke. What she will do? What should I do?' Hitomi asked herself.

"But I understand why you kept this quiet." Kyosuke continued. "Love is such a complicated feeling, isn't it? Especially if this is love for your close friend. What if they don't feel the same for you? What if they reject you? What if they accept, but it doesn't work out? Can you be friends again or will you lose your friendship? And what your other friends will think about all of it?"

The girls didn't even notice how they started to nod. He understood the mess that was girls emotions so good...
He lifted heavy burden from their shoulders. Hitomi and Sayaka didn't know will Kyosuke answer their feelings and who he'll choose yet, but he gave them ability to finally talk it out, and that was wonderful.

"But I tell you, you don't need to be afraid. Your friends will support you, and all will work out in the end." Kyosuke smiled brightly. "And I for one think that you two are lovely couple."

Both girls blinked, trying to comprehend what he just said. 'You two are lovely couple? Does he mean...'
"Eeeeeeeeeeeh?!" Sayaka yelled, completely dumbfounded.
Hitomi's jaw dropped, her mind short-circuited.

Kyosuke continued to smile. "Yes, as I said, your feelings to each other are quite obvious. And don't worry, I'm sure they're mutual."
"Eeeeeeeeeh!" Sayaka intelligently responded.
Hitomi just looked at him, speechless.

Then there was a knock at the door, a nurse entered the room. "Mr. Kamijo? It's time for your physical therapy session."
Kyosuke nodded. "Yes, of course." He got in his wheel-chair and turned to the girls. "Now, talk this out and everything will be fine." He said encouragingly and let the nurse to take him away.

"B-b-b-but-but-but... T-that's not..." Finally ability to speak returned to Hitomi, but it was too late, the boy already left.

Even more awkward silence occupied the hospital room.

Kyosuke Kamijo felt happiness. He did a good deed today. He helped two loving hearts to find each other.
Madoka Kaname felt irresistable and unexplainable urge to facepalm.

Oh noooooooooooo~

But seriously this is probably pretty devestating to both girls. I kinda feel bad - they just basically got lesbian-zoned by the boy they like.

There's a small part of me that just wants Hitomi to wallow in that - this part is a massive Sayaka fan - but I'm not that petty. They both will bounce back.
Sayaka at least will confess later and get sibling-zoned, for lack of a better term. I don't know what Hitomi will do yet.

No votes since last tally, SO:
Well, hopefully that's a good sign?

In the meantime, I've been meaning to ask, are you going to do anything with the new characters from the mobile game? I don't know much about them myself, so was curious if that's something we have to worry about at all.
