Eh, I can't think either.
Thinking is overrated, anyway.
Do you know who else was doing thinking? Hitler.
Probably not, but hey. Can't be too safe in cases such as these.

... I know it's something serious, possibly involving words "writer" and "block", but I'm not exactly good at reassurance.

Omake 4 - After the Mall
"It's good to see you're doing well."

She stopped chewing and swallowed before setting another stick in her mouth. "'Course. What, you expected me to fuck up an' die or somethin'?"

"Of course I didn't." The older girl sat down next to her, looking at the setting sun just as she was. "I just wasn't expecting to see you today. Or at any point, really."

"Well Kasamino ain't got the best things to shop for. Clothes or food wise. I'd only steal shit there if I got real desperate." She could sense the other frown without looking, before a sigh left her lips and a hand brushed at her skirt. "'Sides, you didn't see me, you sensed me. Totally different."

"Very well, I sensed you. Please tell me you bought something other than a new hoodie."

"I don't wear nothin' else."

"I know, but I can hope." The redhead snorted at that and shoved the stick into her mouth entirely, chewing it and swallowing before putting a new one on her lips. Then she stood up. "Leaving already?"

"Depends. You mind lettin' me get a few Witches by myself?" The blonde's frown answered her well enough. "Wasn't plannin' on stickin' around long anyway. Low on Seeds."

"Alright." The older girl sighed again as she stood herself. "Just please keep yourself safe," she called as the younger walked off, getting a wave over her shoulder.

"Hey, you taught me. Have some faith."

Omake 5 - HOMURA NO--
I know votes are closed and this answer lost, but dang it I love this choice so much.

You know what they say, the vote you want doesn't win...

Then write the update yourself!

But I'm not the GM, so technically, I can never write an update.

Therefore, the next best thing is an omake.

[╳] Ask Kyousuke which of you three he'd like to go on a date with.

Madoka smiles and asks, "So, Kyousuke..."

Kyousuke tilts his head, asking the pinkette, "Huh? What is it, Miss Kaname?"

The tiny girl leans in and asks, "Which one of us would you date? Me, Hitomi, or Sayaka?"

Kyousuke furiously begins to blush, his head turning as red as a ripe tomato. In addition, the green-haired and blue-haired girls sitting right besides the forward pinkette turned completely pale, their blood leaving their faces entirely.

Sayaka screams out, "Madoka...! What the-! What are-! I... I... Guwafah!"

The blunette loses her mind right then and there. She can no longer form cohesive sentences, let alone enunciate.

Hitomi does not say a single word. In fact, she is not moving at all. She fainted in her seat the moment Madoka asked that question. Her body completely shut down, not wanting to hear whatever Kyousuke's response would be. Her heart was not ready yet. She did love the boy, yes, but she hadn't worked up the nerve to say anything just yet.

Madoka giggles, saying, "A date with you would be pretty interesting. We could go clothes shopping and get some delicious food at the mall. It definitely would beat whatever they're serving to you here at the hospital."

"M-Miss Kaname, what are you--" Kyousuke tries to say, but suddenly cutting himself off and his eyes going wide.

The door to the disabled violinist's door is wide open. Nobody else notices the brunette girl stands there, glaring right at the laying boy. Her sharp gaze pierces right through his chest, stabbing him right in the heart. He did not know why, but there is something about the way she is looking at him that makes him afraid, afraid for his own life and for everyone else in this room.

She slowly starts to shake her head left to right, disapproving of something. What is she trying to say? She begins to mouth some words towards Kyousuke, but he didn't know how to read lips! All you know is that she has to be silently telling him some kind of threat! He wants to say something, but he is too afraid to do so.

All he can do is stay silent about her presence and stammer out, "I-I-I don't think that would be a good idea..."

In response to that, the stranger simply nodded. She looked down at the pink-haired girl's back and her lips curled into a small smirk.

"Oh, Kamijou," you speak suddenly, breaking the building awkward silence after your previous words, "is something else wrong? Not related to your hand," you quickly add on, raising your own in defense, "but you had a...weird expression earlier."

You see his eyes trail to Sayaka for a moment, then back to you. "It's a bit personal." You simply nod, and look at Hitomi, before you nod at the door.

"I can leave you guys to talk? I know you must want to catch up; Sayaka certainly does." You grin teasingly as the girl in question blushes brightly and Hitomi giggles. "I'm a bit hungry anyway." All three nod, and you bow before leaving the room.

That was a lie; you're not hungry. You're getting better at this!

...Eh, don't think too much about how you're getting better at lying...

Anyway, once you're in the hallway, you begin walking past each room slowly, giving quick peeks inside that can easily pass for cursory glances. You're mainly looking for either sick girls, or patients with girls your age that could be visiting, and making sure that any you do find aren't speaking with Kyubey. You're also looking for Kyubey himself, as well as Homura or Mami.

Eventually, you do find the former Magical Girl, who's consoling a girl a little younger than you over someone in a bed...
...who passed, apparently, if the long continuous sound of the heart monitor is any indication. You call your friend's name quietly, getting her attention as you notice a couple of plates and what seems like remains of a cheesecake on one of them.

The brunette gives a bit of a smile - or grimace - before nodding her head to the white-haired young girl. "This is Nagisa Momoe." She looks back at her. "Nagisa, if you wish to talk to my friend, you can. She's very nice." You blush, as Nagisa rubs the tears off of her face and turns to look at you. Homura's violet eyes seem to look behind you, and you hear something small run away from the door. You fight back a sigh; it seems you and Homura were just in time to save her.

Threadmarks are finicky if I try to assign while writing. I do not like this. Where is a Dalek--

So did Mami have Magic Cheesecake handy (wow that could mean something totally different...), or were they actually too late?

I mentioned this the first time Nagisa came up, and I believe I said so a second time, but you do not have Magical Girl Nagisa. It would always be either non-wished Nagisa, or Charlotte. I rolled high enough for the former.

If you're wondering. Homura got to the room before Kyubey on purpose and brought her and her mother a slice each after a bit of a talk. Mrs. Momoe passed away before she could finish, hence why her plate has some remaining and Nagisa's is empty. Also because Nagisa went through hers quicker.

[X] Talk about...
-[X] Introduce yourself
-[X] Ask if she wants a hug
-[X] Talk about school

[X] Talk about...
-[X] Introduce yourself. Be aware you're talking to a young child who just lost her mother; remember what your books said?
-[X] Talk gently, but don't put too much sugar on anything. You don't want to come across as condescending.
-[X] Homura's already made inroads, so use them. Use her.
-[X] Homura's naturally sort of cold, so if you're warmer (without being condescending, again), it'll provide good contrast and make you both look better if you play your cards right.
-[X] Let Momoe-chan start talking about her mother on her own. Maybe it'll go better than bringing things up directly like with Kyousuke.
--[X] Loss is pretty hard. Have we lost a close family member? Maybe we can connect her experiences and ours and let her know she's not alone.
--[X] Talking about it will make her feel better, especially in the long run.
--[X] Encourage Homura to come forward with her own experiences with loss if she's comfortable with it.

[X] Not related, but something to think about after we're done with Nagisa:
-[X] There's a lot of baggage involved with lying, but what exactly is bad about being good at lying? Actually, isn't it a prerequisite for being able to find out if other people are lying to you?
-[X] It'd be very definitely Good to be good at knowing when we're being lied to. Especially if our chosen profession means poking at every skeleton in every closet ever - and doubly so with Kyuubey around.
-[X] Maybe, rather than thinking about lying as a skill we use like a villainess, maybe we should think about it as a prerequisite skill for lie detection, that is necessary for us to do our job, but not particularly palatable as a direct skill. If we do end up using it, we better use it sparingly; we've seen enough anime to know that lies always come back to haunt you!

I actually respect people who are very good at lying. Lying is an important skill, and very useful indeed! Not exactly Good, with a capital G, like Medicine or Child Care, but definitely useful and very important to a select set of people.

It's not unfathomable that lies could be turned to Good ends - implausible, definitely, but not unthinkable. But more important than the direct use of lies on their own is the fact that as one grows better at lying they also become better at detecting lies, which can root out the untrustworthy before they can do damage. In this case, lie detection is very important for us as psychologists, because we need to know when our patients are lying to us, or worse, themselves, to save them. Particularly because of the effect of mental state on the soul gem.

Not to mention being able to lie will help us appear steady when we don't actually feel it; not all lies are spoken in plain verbage, after all. As an example of this, I'd point to Mami, who I think everyone here can agree is both very Good with a capital G and also is a very good and frequent liar. She spends the majority of her screen-time subtly lying to everyone she meets, hiding her loneliness behind an empty smile - we don't need it for such a negative reason, but it's still a good skill to have in our arsenal when we need it.

[X] Karnewarrior

Yeah, we'll need to learn to lie.

We also need to check up on our experiment Mr Expendable Kwijibo at some point, make sure things aren't on fire.

Guys, have SOME faith! They all may be 14 but they are still young adults talking things out.

Also with Sayaka, everything would be drowned, not set on fire
