Not going to lie, I don't play all Muv Luv games, only the original years ago when there are no Muv Luv translation project yet. All I remember are the suddden shift from traditional eroge to robot genre (without even the decency to let us control the robot battle), smug professor, trap best friend and unsatisfactory ending. Maybe it's the time to watch that Total Eclipse anime.
Pity, that would be interesting. I mean yeah, BETA is all kind of fuck but it would be far from the first time Nobita and co faced unending horde of alien invaders. The difference, however is the brutality. Canon have almost no death in canon adventures (there's the Undersea Buggy, and Liley if you count her. It is possible there's more death off screen but we naturally don't know). In Muv Luv it come in droves.

Highschool DxD... maybe not, because this is SV.
Good.
I alway think where she is going and why Nobita don't use the gadget to find her is beyond me,he already has Anywhere door and time machine, going to find her in present should not be difficult.
I don't remember her. Who is that? (This is from one the tankoubon number >=10 isn't it?)

Non-chan.
Non-chan
The girl that used to play with Nobita in his childhood and move with her family to USA,that pretty good plot point if we want to find some reason to made Nobita do something in USA.

In harem anime term,She is " childhood friend ".

So Are you create any plot line for this girl?

Nope, there is no plan to use Non-chan. I think Nobita forget that he can easily find and visit her in that emotional roller coaster episode/chapter.

There are deaths in canon, but it is seldom happen to main cast side. Think about all animals, aliens and bad guys that die in canon.

Honestly, I'm surprised that SV didn't try to min-max points and Nobita's skills. SV didn't even use write-in option and ask more explanation.

Well, there are a lot of not-friendly-robots and demons that died. Animals (hunted game aside) and human-ish bad guys... I don't really recall any of them died (on screen anyway). Likewise with aliens, it was only robots and demons as far I recall.

Talk about min-max what we can do with competent in magic?and in study?.

Science maybe good but that need epic to pull future tech in story.

C'mon, It will be a good drama! The promised girl Vs the Childhood friend.

And this time it can be much more tasteful too, in regards of the canon promised girl vs friend(?) little sister.

........Or we can makes it three way. Promised girl vs friend(?) little sister vs childhood friend.;)

Hey, following the current trend in japan, right?

Anyway, since you put Nobita's birth date at 60, that means we're going to play it at mid 70's tech and culture, right?

So no internet, no mobile phone.......

Hey, if you are looking for romance drama there's more fodder for it that way.

........Or we can makes it three way. Promised girl vs friend(?) little sister vs childhood friend.;)
Bring back also those girls from the long stories for extra shurabara. I'm always fond of Ririru/Liley

That certain little sister from second long story. The girl which he think would never see again, who think she will never see he again. Out of the blue, they meet again. (Did he still keep that flower from her?)

The beautiful, foreign-looking girl. Once someone who smitten him, once a deadly enemy, but in the end she's was a kind girl who sacrificed her own existence for a better world. Suddenly, she returned.

...Fodder for drama ahoy. Especially if the teenagers vote wins. Because you know, teenagers and their love angst.

Edit: (there's also Miyako, come to think of it)

Yeah, I remember a romance film I saw on that era.

two lovers are going to meet again for the last chance of reconciliation at a station, only ended up not meeting because the girls standing behind a pillar.

And when the boy is tired after searching for her, he sit down and leaning on the same pillar, only on opposite direction.

both of their faces are full of resignment, sadness, regret and anger.....

The camera moving from side to side, and the film ended up when they zoomed out.

Showing the pillar in the center and the ex-couple in the sides. Black out.

The drama in that era is awesome, mainly while mobility is high, the communication hasn't catched on. Pager is rare. And home phone+answering machine is extremely important.

In Japan, of course.

I remember that too! Not the title, though...

There are also things with letters that would not work so well in days of email.

All body jacking aliens died by shampoo and dinosaurs died by meteor beg to differ.

Science maybe good but that need epic to pull future tech in story.

If Nobita is competent in magic, he can use it reliably in battle and unlock more spells he can use.

Competent in study... you can study school lessons and research new things more easily. You can also progress your skills with reduced time.

That is SCIENCE with all caps, mechanic and engineering skills is included inside it. Competent is the level of University fresh graduate.

You need non-crossover Doraemon quest for that kind of plot.

Doraemon world follow different tech progression than RL, yeah there are no internet and mobile phone if Nobita stay in 70-80s.

Okay, now this is interesting. So I can guess that either the tech progression will be advanced in several fields while the same in some, or the advances has gone faster a decade or three more?

Well, I guess It depends which crossover you went into, anyways.

If SV use write-in option, each year before university = 1 point; each year in university = 0.5 point; each year after university = 0.25 point. SV need to count from fifth grade as start with 0 point. Penalty may occur when SV decided very old age for Nobita.

This is relevant for SV write-in option, as SV can actually vote for Nobita age between 12 (six grade elementary school) -70 (die in hospital after several days in bed).

[] You're a freshman at Tokyo Institute of Technology. –Gain 8 points, gain burnout, lose heroic trait-

In this option, Nobita gained burnout because he entered Tokyo Institute of Technology. A University that has several rank bellow Todai in Tokyo and also has 0-10% acceptance rate. After one year, burnout trait will disappear but heroic won't come back. It's there to illustrate that trait can appear and disappear according to SV choices. If SV pick years after University, Nobita will have basic/competent skills in related field to his degree.

In this quest Original Timeline, technology actually progress slowly without time travelers. We can not even see great technology progress in 2045 when Nobita and Doraemon go forward in time to buy tsuchinoko in early volume. Technology progress actually explode during 50 years Great Science Upheaval Era.

If it hasn't been applied, Nobita is a badass with a gun. I remember this scene where he was in some futuristic amusement park where there's a shooting competition of sorts. My memories are sorta vague.

Anyhow, in the competition, they were told to shoot these metal cans. The kid before him managed to shoot all the cans. Nobita managed to shoot a can with all the BB pellets through the same hole his first bullet made. Yeah, Nobita was the Robin Hood of shooting.

I think original story is form Jimmy Liao.

Ah,Too bad,I want to met those girl again. ...so what kind of direction for this quest?.

We play Nobita as an individual for some goal?,Like try to establish space program and made our descendant met with Ichi's descendant among the star?.:) or some kind of empire builder quest?.

Man.Doraemon has so much sub plot to play here.;)

Right then. It has been years since I last saw something actual Doraemon related comic/films back in my childhood. But I am always going to push things that won't clash horribly with the Themes I remember.

Nobita has epic level in gun skill.

Direction for this quest is directed by SV choices, crossover list and physical dice.

Currently, my plan is for adventure style. There need to be reasons to use empire builder quest style using Nobita, especially when still in school option win.

Doraemon long story #16. IIRC, the title was Nobita & Galactic Express. Last of the good ones ( the quality of the Long Stories dropped somewhat afterward and really downhill past #20)

He is good even with real guns (as long he don't get fainted due to scare). There's a story in the regular manga where he went back in time and basically pull a one man Magnificent Seven (need help a bit from Dorami but only because revolver's bullet capacity suck).

Man, the amount of times I spent imagining 'what kind of space army I can build if I have Doraemon's gadgets'...

That is because the later story is under Fujiko F Fujio Production Team, aka the assistants under pressure of editors to create very children friendly version.
