[X][Dream] A people like the creatures it had destroyed. They had been the rulers of their world for millions of years until a great tragedy struck… {Remember the Reptites. Associated with evolution, inborn talents, and dinosaurs.}
I myself, would prefer to make a new path rather than rehash whats already been done.
[X][Dream] A city floating in the sky. A city with a heartless general, construct guardians, and a people huddling together in the cold... {Remember the Kingdom of Atlas. Associated with technology, mortals, and the divides they created.}
I was initially going to vote for this based on the opportunity to completely flip the script and make us a tech focused mentor instead of a magic one, and the potential for humorous future interactions with Hatsume (as Arbiter or not). But as I was writing this I realized that this could also boost Tokoyami into a full-on Batman, and I am complexity okay with that outcome.
I agree with the comments that Dreaming of RWBY would start us down a rather similar path to the original quest and I think that the lizard option is also a novel direction, but it doesn't really do anything for me.

Jurassic Park theme song
It Dreamed.
Before Lavos claimed its home, there were people descended from lizards, they called themselves "reptites." They were the dominant species of the planet but they were not unchallenged for that title. Many species evolved from other animals on the planet, seeking to claim that role and overthrow the reptites, all of them were eventually taken out not because the reptites were naturally more vicious or cunning or stronger than their foes.
It was their ability to adapt and evolve as a species and individually that made them so dangerous. For other species on the planet, it might take tens of thousands of generations for noticeable changes to occur in the species. Mutations that occurred would be minor and, more often than not, as likely to be negligible in aiding a single person become more survivable, let alone be passed down to others.
For the reptites, it was different. For them there were hundreds of thousands of them with strange inborn abilities and talents that defied what it knew. A reptite might birth a clutch of eggs and one might grow to be a giant, another would be able to breath fire, and the third might instinctively know the future. It was not magic that these creatures harnessed but a power that was a part of who they were. The mutations would breed true or mix or rarely mutate into something entirely new that family line had never experienced before.
It was no wonder the reptites had been able to hold on to their role as leaders of their planet for so long. They likely would not have lost that place if not for the catastrophe changed the planet so drastically that not even they could survive as a race. Their instability became their downfall as only a few could survive the coming ice age and anything that changed from that acceptable template was a drain on resources or had them lose the very abilities they needed to survive the cold.
Others more suited to changing their environment then overthrew them. The humans found their own advantages, and the planet was theirs from then on. Doing their part to make sure they were not replaced themselves.
Dream: Bloody Evolution acquired
You have Dreamed of a skill! Genetic Mutation E It has a basic understanding of the abilities that mortals can develop and with research of their individual ability may determine ways to strengthen them.
It Watched.
As it looked through the Frozen Flame, it saw this evolution occuring again and again in the humans, so like the ones from Lavos' planet and Obsidian's planet. Adaptations and mutations to deal with their environments and their foes, they were mistaken for Gods and Monsters as the people around them venerated or despised them, but they were always outliers and their descendants returned to the mean, the ordinary, and tales turned into myths and legends.
Cities and nations were formed by this flash in the pan result, but, eventually, what made them notable faded away and it could be centuries before it would happen again. It could not bring its vision down to the level of mortals, even though it knew them to be there. Its thoughts were so slow, yet it was more entertaining than its voyage through space had been. It watched as the humans explored every corner of the world and even began to shoot rockets into space and wondered if these humans would survive even if it were to emerge like Lavos had if it waited long enough.
The planet was abundant with energy, even after being on the planet for as long as it had, the planet showed no sign of weakening. Then something unusual happened: the people changed. They were like the reptites now. Those that were different, their abilities were spread to their children. Eventually, it was those without an ability that were considered unusual. Cities were laid waste to, nations were divided, and for a breath it seemed like humanity would destroy itself without any help.
It Waited.
It knew from its Dream of Obsidian that one day someone worthy of being its Arbiter would find it. The Frozen Flame passed through many hands, and it was not sure if its Dreaming and observation hadn't influenced this world as it developed. It looked to see who currently had that fragment of itself and saw...

May be the generic vote, but...Izuku it is! Though, not sure when this quest starts so...may have to change it depending on that. Hmm...if it's not a spoiler, what time period does this quest start on?
This one. I want this one. A coward who finds courage. Someone who despairs at his own weakness despite inborn abilities making him strong, but he feels like it's never strong enough. How far can we lift him up? Heh... We're not Obsidian. We never will be. We are something else similar, but not the same. We dream of Bloody Evolution. Instead of asking how far we can lift our Arbiter up, perhaps we will see how far a person can fall but still pick themselves up and be changed by it?
Overview Gallery Synopsis Relationships As a child, Izuku Midoriya greatly admired Heroes and dreamed of being a hero like his idol, All Might, once he got his Quirk. However, by the time children his age manifested their powers, Izuku still showed no signs of developing any special abilities. A...

All Might tells Izuku he is worthy to inherit his strength and that he has the power to transfer his Quirk to people, to the Izuku's shock. All Might then begins to train him at the Dagobah Municipal Beach Park by moving large pieces of garbage around, such as trucks, large office drawers, various craters, and bookshelves. He explains Izuku has to train his body to be strong enough to withstand the power of his Quirk otherwise it can result in Izuku losing limbs.
After 10 months of intense training, the day of the entrance exam arrives. At six o'clock in the morning, at the last possible second, Izuku moves the final piece of garbage of the entire beach. All Might is amazed as Izuku cleaned the whole beach and commends him as he cuts off a piece of his hair and gives it to Izuku, who is surprised he has to eat it, receiving his first dose, a very small piece of One For All. However, because the entrance exam is so close, Izuku must hurry to the school without getting used to the power.[3]
So about two months before meeting All Might...well at least we can be sure he (likley) won't recieve All for One in this timeline. Well if his vote wins.
It's Kirishima! Has to be, what with his quirk being Toughness/Hardening, it makes sense.
If that doesn't ring any bells, it's the guy with red hair and red eyes.
Also, oh boy! I can't wait to give our Aribter encouragement with poorly thought out sayings! Like this one; 'Don't not give up. When you fall off of the 'horse' there's only two things you can do. Get killed by the 'horse' trampling you, or get right back up and... eat the horse. Eat the horse and gain it's power!'
After some discussion, we decided to try and keep the potential Arbiters' names hidden until voting is over. You can keep your speculation, but please edit out the names in your votes.
Honestly, not familiar with the source material of the crossover. I've read the parent quest, and played Chrono Trigger, but that's it.
And, given that, this seems like the proper option to vote for. After all, the stars are where we're from...
No... Not Uraraka. She's not a bad character. Far from it, she's interesting. But she's not the kinda character I want to interact with for this quest. Why is everyone voting for her?
