Neither Black or White [B&W/MHA crossover quest]

This may be a bit early to think about, but are we gonna give a quirk to Izuku or are we just gonna gorge him on lots of minor miracles? If we are going to give him a quirk, what should it be?
We can only make Quirks that mimic our miracles. So If we do decide to give Izuku a quirk I think we should wait a couple more months so we have more options.

As far as our current options go, Stutter is a good one.

Nezu literally just told us that they don't co-operate with criminals, and as far as he's concerned, Deus is a criminal vigilante.

I have doubts that asking him to help with this is going to work out.
We haven't commited any crimes as of yet. Also, I'm pretty sure he meant in regards to cooperating in fighting villains and what not. This is a entirely different matter.

Welllll.... Izuku is being investigated after the slime villain was killed. And the fact that he's our follower now sorta implies that we were the ones that did the smiting. So we've got a possible murder charge.

First and foremost, as far as nezu is concerned, we're trying to start a cult. I don't think he's going to be cool with us talking to her.

Secondly, we have absolutely committed crimes that he is aware of. Among those is hacking into multiple hero's personal data. Something we already admitted to.

Then of course, the act of blatant vigilantism we just committed. Furthermore, tying Izuku to us so blatantly implicates him enough where he's going to fall under heavy scrutiny.

We can easily inform him that we can talk to her anyways. Assuming he doesn't already know. This just makes it more convenient for everyone involved.

Secondly, while we did admit to the hacking we had extrenuating circumstances behind it, and haven't done so since.

Thirdly, we did not commit any vigilantism. We fought absolutely no-one. We simply walked Eri out of the door, while telling them where to do the fighting.

Not really my first choice, but it works well enough I guess.

I'm cool with using either the swirly hand palm thing or the thumps up I like the idea of just having a hand help open with the fingers all together because it should be something easy for people to recognize more or less.

pretty sure they're talking about the wrath of god thing from when we first arrived in universe which killed the slime dude which they'll connect us to when we have izuku show up. though now that i think about it they might do that anyway or at least start looking into him since he was asking about eri and i really think someones being told izuku's in the lobby trying to get access or someone WILL be told after we leave.

also has anyone got a plan for what to buy in the XP shop yet? we might want to do that so we can help izuku and eri more since you just know someones going to try something stupid

Ah, that was an accident, one we are profusely sorry for. See, we were a literal new-born at that time, a pre-mature new-born at that, and had no idea that was a human, and limited control over our "quirk". I think they would be somewhat forgiving, considering the extenuating circumstances (I doubt it's the first case of people brand-new to their quirk accidentally murdering someone).

Oh yeah, forgot I was meaning to do that. Good thing you reminded me, cause if we buy Avatar, there's a very neat work around to this "Vigilantism" problem. Become a Pro Hero.

@Nitro in our poking around on the internet, have we learned much about the laws relegating the use of quirks in defense? For I doubt all quirk use is outlawed. If that Hardening guy used his quirk to protect himself from being stabbed, is that vigilantism? Is Kota a criminal for splashing that muscle guy? What are we allowed too do to save a life, and what are we not allowed to do?

Use of quirks for self-defence is legal, as we learn in the omakes of vol. 9 and 10 of the manga:
Public display of quirks is against the law, except in cases of self-defense, such as when one is under attack or preventing someone else from being attacked.
That does however not mean that being a vigilante to save other people is permitted. If you happen on an accident and have to use your quirk to save someone to prevent their injury? Cool beans. If the police end up with you doing it for the 3rd time in a week they'll investigate on charges of vigilantism.

From a legal sense the problem is pretty clear. If a civilian tries to stop a villain attack and ends up causing more damage or injuries because they messed up, they're just as cuplable as the villain. They may not have intended to do any harm, but did so anyway because they decided to take matters into their own hands. Just imagine how much damage someone like Bakugo could do if he fucked up with his quirk even once.

So, from a legal standpoint, you might be able to get away with a case of "self defence" or two, depending entirely on the situation.

So, as long as we don't go looking for villains, we just happen upon someone in danger, we are allowed to save them, as long as we focus on saving and not fighting? Because that seems like the main thing that would be happening. Our omniscience brings to our attention people needing saving, I doubt we'd be legally required to just watch them suffer and maybe die.

Edit To Avoid Double Posting:
So, I think our actions for next week should be

[] Continue working on the new miracle!
[] Dream of yourself.
[] Contact Nezu, he seems to be the leader of these Heroes, and request to converse with him when he has a moment to spare.
-[] Attempt to come to an arrangement with Nezu, learning what you are and are not legally allowed to do to save someone. For if someone is danger, it seems unlikely that you would be legally required to let them die. You are a God of Heroism, you should attempt to maintain a good relationship with Heroes and avoid the labeling of Vigilante.
-[] Offer your godly services, to help out the good fight and what not. There are many things you can do that no one else can, and you are certain that, even without doing what is traditionally called Hero Work, you can help out. Plus, any goodwill or sacrifices you earn in return for such assistance will be helpful for your followers.
--[] Mention your Sanctuary Miracle. The ability to create locations in which violence against people is impossible is bound to be useful.
--[] Inquire after the frequent medical appointments of one Toshinori Yagi. You are a Healer. If mortal healing can not help him, you might be able to. It might take a few weeks to prepare the necessary miracle, but you are sure you can cure anything short of death.

@Nitro Does Cancer, Auto-immune diseases, and other super-complicated illnesses count for Cure Disease?

Well, then I'm fine with calling Nezu. Maybe mention how it just seemed rude to hack the System or carve Messages into the Walls of Eris Room.

I'm still not sure why People didn't want to work with the Heroes.
I mean most of the Time we can't do anything if the People we want to save aren't close to our Worshippers, or become Worshippers.
We are going to push most of our Worshippers to become Heroes and do the Saving anyway.
I doubt we are going to burn more than 1 Action per Turn on saving People, if they aren't in danger of Dying.

Oh we (or atleast, I) do. The thing is, we aren't going to NOT save people. Which was what they were asking us to do (or, it atleast sounded like that at the time). If someone pulls a gun on Izuku, and there ain't any Hero there to save him, we aren't just gonna call the police and do nothing. We gonna save him. Which is what we told them. We are not just gonna wait for a hero when people are in active danger. We aren't just gonna wait and let them die.

I'm going to let this vote run on a bit longer, could someone do me the kindness to compile all the current submissions for Deus' holy symbol into one post so I can easily add it to the end of the next chapter?

Literally, two people have voted, one for their own submission and has since un-Xed his vote so who knows if he changed his mind or what. We can assume all the Image Submitters are voting for their own submissions.

Here are all the submissions
I am somewhat tempted to just vote to smite the dude right now. Do with her what we did with Deku. Build a theme.

Speaking of hands, here's my idea for our Symbol
It'll become super relevant once we get some additional ranks in Hand of God down, and can manifest ourselves in the world in the standard way (A giant floating hand)
I personally prefer the Hand, given we are a Black And White god, but the Sheikah Eye could be a neat symbol.
we could go for this simple symbol
or something like this with our all seeing thing and little nod to our nature on the internet and homage to the Illuminati
so what you guys want i am for symbols of eyes or hands something to hint to our nature
same also i think the hand symbols that i suggested is symbol of healing or something?
our hand through the dimensions

Well, how about this?

[X]Yes, give your word that you will not interfere with the work of mortal heroes and let them handle villains.
-[X]Tell them you will intervene if one of your worshippers are in danger, whether it's technically hero work or not.
-[X] This includes those who would pray to you. Potential worshippers after all also fall under your aegis.
-[X] You do wish to help others, however, so you will continue to assist those in need in all matters that do not fall under the hero-villain conflict.

I'm actually not sure if I should vote for this. We've taken steps to be a god of heroism, after all. Hopefully the caveat seems good enough.

[X]Continue working on the new miracle! (1 timeslot)
[X]Dream of yourself. You will spend a significant portion of the week with your attention turned inwards into yourself in a dream of sorts in an attempt to repair some of the divine memories you are missing, they might give you some clues of the fates of the previous deities that once lived on this world.
[X]Eri lacks a phone for you to communicate with her quickly and easily, have Izuku acquire a cheap one and bring it to her. A good chance for your only worshippers to meet as well.
-[X] Use the phone to communicate with her. Explain the situation to her, and ask her about her hopes and dreams for the future. You can't help her fulfill them if you don't know, after all.
-[X] Eri has some lingering damage from her time in captivity, this will not do. Use cure wounds on her to get her back to tip-top shape (much to the surprise of the hospital staff)

Hey @Nitro, is there a particular reason we can't heal her when Izuku meets her? It doesn't seem time sensitive, so using a second timeslot seems odd.

Also, this is my image for the symbol contest:
If the definition of hero is "Someone who helps" I think this hand simbols would be fitting.
Okay here's another try at a Holy Symbol

All of the options are either eyes or hands. Maybe we should pick something with more weight, or a more symbolic meaning?

Something that can both be made with simplicity, and artistically.

Something like this?
