What, Adam can't have some kind of lingering parenting instinct? He's pretty young, as far as you can tell. Madame Red, Levi, and Daniel look similar, but you don't really know.

You hear Daniel and Uncle talking about The Plan, and it sounds like a more exciting variation of the hide-and-seek you were playing earlier. You were supposed to lead Daniel around your house and the neighborhood, pointing out targets for him to take out. It seemed like a lot of fun!
Daniel asked what you would like him to bring with, seeing as you were the one to ask him along. Hmm...you should take into consideration using those knife skills Daniel taught you.

With that set out, you prepare to leave. This will be the first time you're leaving Uncle's house after the incident, which is a pretty big deal. As you're wandering around the place, fiddling with your vertebrae, Madame Red stops you.
"Hey there little Arhi-chan!" She says, smiling as she greets you.
"Hiya!" You say back to her, smiling.
"What'cha got there?" She asks, pointing to your Vertebrae.
You show it to her, "It's a thing I pulled out from one of Uncle's zombies! Neat, huh?"
"Yeah! Say, you wanna make something cool out of it? If you give me it, I can make it into something really neat by the time you're back."

Omake 3: Adam's Day Off
"Actually, how would you like me to come along, Aria? It'd be great if we could both go back, yeah?" Adam asks his young charge. She shyly nods, and Adam decides that this would be a great time to blow off some stress~
"Great! Levi, help me break out the 4/4ths Legion." Adam beams and turns to his friend. Levi only gives him a blank look. Daniel smirks.
"Seriously? You still keep them around? I thought that was a one-off joke." Levi asks in disbelief.
Adam scoffs, "Are you joking? The 4/4ths were the most fun I've had in a long time."
Levi just rolls his eyes, "This is stupid."
Adam just beams brightly. "Absolutely! Good thing I made a lot of them, huh?"
Adam turns back to his young 'adoptee' Aria, "Arhi-chan, run along for a bit. We've got some stuff to take care of. Ava?"
Ava smiles and takes the young girl's hand. "Come on Arhi-chan, I've got more cool stuff to show you!"
As they leave, Adam and Levi watch them go. Levi is the one that breaks the silence, "I still don't like her."
Adam smiles and shrugs, "I know. I do, so I'm going to keep her around."
Daniel raises an eyebrow, "Aria or Ava?" Levi and Adam both look at each other, before looking back at Daniel and giving their answers simultaneously.
"Both." "Aria." Adam and Levi recoil slightly at the dissonance.
Adam shook his head, "Levi, why can't you get along with Ava? She's useful, powerful, and not actively a prick." He ribbed his old friend.
"Force of habit." Levi replied. He waved his hand in the air, without direction, "I didn't like her before this, I don't now. The kid is just another annoyance that's terrified around me."
"Yeah, because that's totally unjustified." Adam quips, rolling his eyes.
"She wouldn't know, she didn't exactly ask." Levi deadpanned.
Adam shrugged, "Ava likes her, It's good parenting practice to get in the post-apocalypse, and having a potential assassin on hand isn't terrible."
Daniel had been quiet for a long time. Aria wasn't a bad girl, but he did suspect she was sliding down the same slope Adam ended up going down. Adam wasn't exactly going to dispose of her if she didn't go crazy, but Adam's not huge on emotional investment in girls he just met.
...Anymore.

Aria stood, staring down a horde of zombies bigger than she could comprehend. Now...why were they dressed funny, and carrying...instruments?
"I have a lot of time on my hands." Adam says to Aria as he walks over, carrying a white conductor's stick. Aria only nods, dumbfounded.
"Time to go!" Adam says cheerfully, taking Aria's hand. With his stick in his right hand, he begins making rhythmic swishing motions. The zombies begin to follow, all in step.
"What's that for, Uncle?" Aria asks. Adam cheerfully ignores her, humming an unidentifiable tune.
-- "Ah, almost there. Best to start now." Adam says, turning. The following zombies all stop, and form ranks. Adam stops, nods, then begins the motions again walking backwards.
Only now the zombies are playing instruments. And, after a bit, some...chanting is heard...?
"Your sports team is vastly inferior
That simple fact is plainly obvious to see
We're gonna kick your collective posterior
Of course you realize we're speaking literally
Our stats are thoroughly impressive
Our coach really has the Midas touch

The remains of Aria's home settlement were almost upon them, and Aria could hear a frenzy. Someone was there! And they were really loud! And running around! And running...away?
"In fact we've played teams across the nation
And you're the worst one we've come across
Try to assimilate that information
And it just might help you cope with your impending death
Oh, and if somehow we are still failing
To effectively articulate the points at hand

Adam's army, over the course of that time, has marched straight into the center of the neighborhood. As he reached the end of that 'verse', he brought the 4/4ths Legion to a stop. Then, in a suspended moment in time, a deafening roar of gunshots could be heard. Aria was frightened, and went to the ground to try and avoid them.
As the gunfire quieted, the dust that had been kicked up settled. Adam was still standing there, conductor's stick still in the air, with a smirk on his face. The 4/4ths Legion looked a little worse for wear, but there were still so many.
Adam's eyes lit up in a feral glow. He dropped the stick.
The zombies went insane.

Zombies went every direction, shouting and beating down doors and generally tearing into everything they can see.
Daniel smiled as you picked out what you thought was best, back in Daniel's room. It was large, but it seemed that half of it was more of a gym and target practice. He walked over to a closet and takes an odd knife, and a big another big...sword? Or like, one of those farming tools? You can't even describe it.

"So, I'm going to be sneaking around and stabbing like you? It's not a bad plan, and I bet you were a little biased because I taught you tricks with your knifes. But just remember Aria..." Daniel took a couple of identical daggers and strapped them to his legs.
They seemed to be like two triangles of metal fused together, except where the handle ended there was this strange metal ring. Peering over to the rack in the closet, you see that they were labeled 'Kunai'. Whatever that means.
"Don't be afraid to press your advantages. Like with my axes." With that, Daniel hurled the...axe across the room. It spun a bunch of times, but it hit a dummy on the wall straight on the chest, blade-in.
THWACK.
"Just saying." Daniel smiled. You maybe swooned a bit.

"Scary..." You thought, looking at the diminishing view of Uncle's house as you and Daniel walked away. Here you was, going on a trip back home to kill who knows how many people, when just few weeks ago you was back in that same home playing with Kali...

You eeped out loud, thinking about how you totally forgot about your, like, best friend! I mean, a lot has been going on...

You bite your lip and look at Daniel, who is only looking at you askance. You are really worried about your friend, but Daniel and Uncle seem to think these people are really bad...and they're touching your stuff.

In spite of your concerns however, some more pressing concerns emerged. As you've been walking the path to your old neighborhood from Uncle's house, you both took the cobbled street out of habit. You remember learning that when Lord Terror attained control of the world, he did it by letting others destroy it first. This was why walking out at night wasn't safe, or why old cities had to be abandoned. Everything was broken. When Lord Terror sweeped in, however, the first thing he did was rebuild infrastructure. That was why many roads still existed.
You also remember that using the roads was disrespectful to a big majority of survivors, who died in the struggle against Lord Terror's necromancers.
Which is unfortunate, because it seems you've been caught doing just that. Lying in one of the many overgrown fields, five people emerged from the grass. They all seemed to be men, and they looked really scary and mean. You steeped behind Daniel, peering at them from behind your patron.
"Shit." Daniel mutters softly, as he moves his hand over one of his knifes.
Four of the men break off into a group of two, and take out guns that they point in your direction. The middle man does not take out a gun, and walks towards you with a grin.
"How ya'll doing today? Nice weather, ain't it?" He says, giving you a scary smile.
