Religion: Zoroastrianism
Language: Persian
Traditions: Persian Dynasty, Trading, Priest Warriors.
Relations: Baburids (Defense Agreement)
Military: Late Classical
Issues: War with Rome, Liang's Raids, Arab Leader Seeks Help.

- The Romans are advancing in Persian Territory, having conquered Mesopotamia the Sassanid State is the last line of defense before Rome conquers the ancient Capital. Keykavous has hired the help of many priest-warriors in the Zoroastrian faith, and has used them to form a new defensive army that has maintained the Romans at the Zagros for years now, while other states such as the Baburids have pledge to protect Persia.

- attributed to their success is the alliance the state of the Sassanids has made with the priestly Zoroastrian class of Persia, which have largely retained the old traditions. with the advent of Christianity west with Rome and Alexandrism in the east the largely disenfranchised Zoroastrian class has been maintained in inner Persia by the Iranian dynasty, in turn for their help the priest class have called for a recovery of the holy city of Ctesiphon, now under Roman control, to defend Zoroastrians there.

- As part of an operation by Shangur, the tomb of Alexander was transported by some of our soldiers through our territory to be delivered to Bactriana, but a recent Roman attack spotted the tomb after killing our patrols and have stolen the body. Upon its arrival to Ctesiphon the tomb was discovered to be empty, and Alexandrite cultists have declared the city to be holy, and thousands of pilgrims and missionaries travel across our state to reach Ctesiphon and pray to the empty tomb of Alexander, this has only spread the faith further into our nation and Zoroastrian priests suggest we recover Ctesiphon so we can destroy the idol of the Alexandrist, or at least take it as far away from Zoroastrian lands as possible.

- A local Arab leader has requested the Sassanids aid, they tell of an upcoming invasion by Aksum and pledge their allegiance to us if we send enough support to fend off the invasion, this could be a great opportunity to seize land away from Rome and show off our strength and maybe even capture Yemen on the way. Meanwhile Liang's men keep raiding our northern provinces using Purgam as a great starting point for their raids.

WELCOME TO THE MEDIEVAL ERA
Many events have passed which completely changed the world of empires as known, the death of christ, the rise of mazdak, and the fall of Rome, have set up a chain of events that will prove catastrophic for nations. A great migration period has begun, with many tribes and peoples resettling and moving to richer and more civilized lands, and even religions are changing, as the old world of Roman Hellenism has been completely replaced by the New Zoroastrian faiths. the world has stopped making sense, the status quo has changed, and nations must now adapt or become history.

Religion: Zoroastrianism
Language: Persian
Traditions:
Persian Dynasty, Trading, Priest Warriors.
Relations: Baburids (ally)
Military: Early Medieval
Issues: War with Mazdak, War with Shangur, rigid social stratification

- Roman conquest continues on Sassanid land, until a breakup caused by a civil war between both sides of the empire for the seat of throne interrupts their invasion, the Sassanids don't have time to breathe however, after a few small conquests in Arabia and the recovery of Dhayoon, A large revolt is caused by a new cult of Zoroastrians led by a mobad priest called Mazdak, which has created a schism of the faith, based largely, on influences by Christianity, he has called for the abolition of religious hierarchy and the distribution of goods evenly for the entire populace, which has angered the Sassanid Aristocrats and priests, who exile him alongside his heathen followers, from where they take on to Ctesiphon, There again, the Mazdak followers come under heavy attack from the entrenched catholic church of Assyrian Romans

- Not Long after, the Shangurian men from east invade our holdings in the Tehran, across the way a man only known as Ash'kaebt, lead "Stratego" of Shangur, leads the armies, first defeating the Baburids and then satraps north. He seems to employ the help of locals to usurp their overlords using his charisma to spread the words of Buddha and Alexander, claiming to be a reincarnation of both, but has met his match in Zoroastrian grounds where his teachings are considered highly heretical, and eastern Christians which dislike his tenets, but nonetheless they join his side with the promise of liberation.

- Social Stratification in the Sassanid empire has been maintained by the Orthodox Zoroastrian State Church, largely seeking to remove foreign influences in the faith, putting the priest class at the top of the caste and those of other faith at the bottom, their practices are tolerated but their place in society is made known all the time. This hasn't proved to be an obstacle for Keykavous in ruling his subjects, but converts from many foreign faiths have buffed the numbers of the low classes, and they have begun making demands for their persecution to end, first peacefully, and then not so peacefully, there are now many heathens revolting in the streets of Persia demanding the social caste be abolished.

- The leader of the Northern Khanate, Liang, is reported deceased by one of the spies who infiltrated his court, assassinating him with poison during one of his feasts. His former khanate splits into several warring chiefdoms attempting to fill the power vacuum, while some of them were annexed as independent provinces by their new Stratego.

Religion: Mazdakism
Language: Mazdak
Relations: Mazdak (Ally)
Traditions: Protosocialism, Sea Farers, Mazdak.
Military: Early Medieval
Issues: Heddi Rebellion, War with Byzantium, War with Kush, War with Assyria

- With the help of Mauritania, both vandals and Visigoth Barbarians are repelled, alongside, Burgundians in lotions taken after their conquest by Francia. In exchange we have been given those islands and more. The new territories are hard to administrate without knowledge of the Mauritanian language, but Heddi insists on maintaining the traditions of his father to the end, leading to much discontent amongst his advisors.

- General Aflis is replaced with a more capable general, since not much can be afforded with the current income; Heddi has named one of his most skilled brothers as general, but fearing his success leading to him usurping the throne, had he sent on the most dangerous of missions, leading to growing tensions between both men.

- The brother, Adiusit is exiled from Egypt, which now doesn't hold Egypt to the dismay of Heddi. Adiusit returns to real Egypt to the land of his father, preferring to spend his days reading at the library and seeking spiritual fulfillment. Years later a Persian leader by the name of Mazdak conquers Alexandria, and meets with Adiusit as he attempts to escape the capital and flee elsewhere. Mazdak and Adiusit spend time talking, and soon they establish a great relationship, with Mazdak naming Adiusit as his head Scholar and Master Theocart, he learns much from Adiusit's knowledge and study of the bible, and Adiusit learns a lot from Mazdak's visions and doctrines, as well as his campaigns across the Arabian Desert and his administrative knowledge obtained from managing the Caliphate. The pretender comes back to his brother's holdout with an army of Arab soldiers, and confronts Heddi. With a decisive victory against Heddi's armies, he is forced to go into exile to Morocco, while his brother is granted the throne of Egypt.

- Adiusit's reforms to the kingdom come swiftly as he is declared Pharaoh. The state religion is changed to Mazdakism, with the teachings of his mentor spread across the Kingdom, and the language of Mazdak, given by Allah himself, is taught in all schools as a necessity, this reform has many skeptical, and some local leaders choose to side with Heddi rather than convert to this new religion.

- Exploration of lands in the Atlantic Ocean takes place with the vandals displaced from North Africa, The canaries are settled and fortified, and from there exploration is taken further south where islands near Africa are inhabited. Trips further west have proven dangerous, with many ships lost during the expeditions.

- Alliances are established with the newly formed Barbarian Kingdoms in Europe. Close ties are achieved with the Ostrogoth and Alemannic Christians, currently threatened by the expansion of Francia and Rome, however, afte our conversion to Mazdakism, they have cut all ties with Egypt, siding instead with the Rebels of Heddi. Chancellor Eysan thinks this is a great oportunity for conquest, as we take the city of Lotion from Heddi, we can kickstart an invasion to italy during the time of strife, and take the jewel of Saena before the Franks or the Romans can reinforce their position there, and hold Grecia for any longer.

Religion: Alexandrism
Language: Shangurian
Traditions: Mountain men, Traders, Egalitarianism

Military:
Early Medieval
Issues: War with Assyria, War with Sassanids, War with Baburids, Gujarat Separatists, Christian Conversion Crisis

- The Greek world of east has long distanced itself from their mainland brothers, now speaking and writing in Latin script, the now remaining colonies from Bactria have adopted the Shangurian language, which has been designed by the Chancellor as an adaptation of the ancient Greek Script, while those in the indo-valley and Indo-Greece have adopted Indian Sanskrit. This hasn't proven a problem yet as local governors are allowed in the Indus-Valley, but reports say some local families have begun intermarrying other Indian Brahmins, rather than with nobles from Shangur, and with larger Indian association, kingdoms have found more profitable to look east rather than west, and begin to form their own royal lineage which may threaten to separate from Shangur.
- Policy with new converts are taken lightly, and slowly new traditions from the neighboring tribes are incorporated into Alexandrian mythos, and Grand Monk Zhang Kristov travels across the country to compile Alexandrian Mythos and tenets around the world into one holy book called the "Septuagint" or Seventy as Zhang as liked to call it for its extensive recording. It mixes in Shangurian origin mythos and the arrival of Alexander to Bactria, where he arrived as the prophet who led the Shangurians to their salvation in India, but his death prevented him from leading his followers to the promised land beyond the river, and during his death his spirit traveled from Greece all the way to India and beyond, then traveled back to meet with his body in "Cetaspion" and finally ascended into godhood.

- With the addition of the entire Indo-Region in a diplomatic move by Xiang to gain more control of the region, first by annexing Indo-Greece with a promise of security, and later by constructing outposts and government buildings far into the Indus valley and improving the infrastructure of the region while allowing local chiefs to maintain some autonomy. This has taken a toll with his popularity in the senate with many in the senate objecting to his large careless spending on the region and the fact most of the income gained from the new buildings will go to the pockets of local nobles, while no infrastructure improvement is seen in the capital or its surroundings.

- Efforts are made to approach Liang's men in the east through the Alexandrist way; we have learned the holy book of Alexander has appeared thanks to missionaries of Barbarian origin who have spread the word inside the Kingdom.

- Xiang has hired merchants to report rumors directly to spy agencies in cities, and some even more talented merchants are hired to go beyond the lands of Shangur and report back with information. In the west the Romans have met their match against a vicious horde, which appears to be armed with religious zealotry following the teachings of the one they call Mazdak, a reformist Sassanid Priest. He has taken control of Ctesiphon, the jewel of the Roman Empire after a lengthy Siege, conquering the city that once rejected him.

- Christians have begun growing more resentful regarding our worship of Alexander, especially with the addition of barbaric codes of war, and the church of east demands Shangur ceases its worship and burns the idols and statues of worship built around him.

Religion: Hellenism
Language: Latin
Traditions: Sea Farers, Warlords, Roman Institutions.
Relations: Gallic Empire(Ally)
Military: Late Classical
Issues: Anglo-Saxon Migrations, German Rebels, Separatist Movement, Pictish War

- Attempts to intercept incoming Anglo-Saxon fleets prove successful, small raider parties are deterred and an attempted invasion at London by one of the Germanic tribes known as the Jutes proves to be reason enough for the nobles to vote a change to the capital, moving it to the center of Britannia where all the citizens can travel the roads of the kingdom to get there.

- Relations are strengthened with Gallia trough royal marriages and other formalities, they are invaded by franks which soon form the kingdom of Francia, and wage heavy wars to push back the last Roman stronghold in Normandy, and take Tripoli, but intervention by Britianic forces stops their advance at Catania, where thousands of Britianic troops , maintain a status quo in the region until Francia signs a treaty with the Gallic Kingdom for peace in exchange for the city of Tripoli, the jewel capital of the Gillian's, now moved to the city of Catania.

- Diplomatic attempts are made to contact the Picts but they are as savage as the Germanic invaders, and know of only raiding and pillaging, they have instead declared war on us to in alliance with the Anglo-Saxons.

- Germanic Legionaries are sent to Ireland to defend the Frontier, but we find out, the Germanics have defied us, and taken the colonies for themselves, allying with the retreating Jutes, while they push further into the island driving the local Irish people out, increasing their hostility towards Britiaci and the number of Irish raiding parties in our kingdom.

- A meeting is organized by King Cullum, with many of the local priests assembled in order to deal with Christian converts in the Kingdom, with Shaman, not many are onboard with hammering out the Christian converts, and some priests on the clergy have begun spouting Christian traditions and beliefs, the King decides to stamp out the cult by imposing a tax on those who convert, yet he sees many more convert each day, some members of his court even, and the tax only helps divide the Britianic people between pagan and Christians.

Religion: Shamanism
Language: Pama-Nyungan
Traditions: Subsistence Agriculture, Sea Farers, Musicians
Relations: None
Military: Primitive
Issues: Elective Monarchy

- King Youwearie attempts to resolve the situation by spending his next year's leaving colonization to his subjects, while he focuses his time on organizing the construction of orphanages, medical centers and public housings for the displaced individuals, gaining back the approval of his subjects, but the popularity of chief Colorado keeps increasing, leading to his coronation as dual monarch with Youwearie to appease the crowds. His first order as Co-Monarch is to purchase many elephants from Arab traders, to upgrade the armies and better defend Kolongulla. After his dead he is given a tomb of kings, alongside a tomb for King Youwearie by his side, and many commemorations are made in his name, going as far as being added as part of Kolongullan mythology as compassionate and giving man.

The government is reformed according to the Chancellor's suggestion, the new governed is formed by a local council on each independent nation under Kolongullan power, while the seat of the Monarch administers all the nations as one, overall this reform keeps everyone happy, and the office of sailing and settling becomes more profitable as settlements maintain most of the autonomy of the settled region.

- Prince Hain prepares a spy network which attempts to work as counterespionage to intercept traitors and dissenters in Kolongulla, but also to keep watch of Bamaga, he reports that Bamaga plans to overturn the office of Monarch, by dwindling the powers of the throne and increasing the autonomy of local regions, creating a network of relations to favor his businesses in Kolongulla. This plot will severely weaken the power of the king to the dismay of Hlain, but because it's not an assassination or uprising none can be done for now. Hlain's spies have also found out the Chancellor was using Cooradoo to get his will done across the Kingdom, and he plans to influence his heir in the throne to further accomplish his goals.
- The sight of his future tomb has made Youwearie reconsider his role as king of Kolongulla, rather than keep exploring and discovering he prefers to sit down and pass down that knowledge to his sons and his subjects, he writes a biography about his life, with some embellishments about his travels and fights here and there, his fight against Evil man-eating goblins when arriving to Guinea, his travels to faraway lands and confrontations with exotic beats, both of sea and land.

- Many wise men, traders and other people from India are invited to the court of Kolongulla, to give their knowledge to the people, many advances are made using this strategy, and the adoption of a writing system, agriculture and even metalworking's.

Religion: Christianism
Language: Meroitic
Traditions: Egalitarianism, Trading, Ancient Kingdom
Relations: None
Military: Late Classical.
Issues: War with Egypt, War with Mazdak

- War is declared on Rome, and a few skirmishes ensue on the border with not much progress, until the conquest of Egypt by the hordes of Mazdak, a prophet that has rose in prominence on Macaroba, where his preaching's where once again ill-received by the locals. Previously in his life Mazdak was also exiled from many other countries because of his anti-clergy stance and odd doctrine of equal sharing, but in Macaroba Mazdak was not keen on fleeing like a coward once again, instead, forming an army of Arabs and other followers and conquer the city, the most important trade stop in the surroundings of the Red Sea, from there on he launched a campaign and conquered all of Arabia, now with an empire of his own, Mazdak is set on spreading his faith by all means necessary.

- Diplomatic outreach is made with Arabian tribes and city-states willing to ally against the Berber Egyptians, until they are all annexed by Mazdak's armies. One group of Arabs however, have responded to our call, a prophet and his group of followers, who preach about the visions of the prophet, known as Muhammad, and have arrived to the capital looking for refuge from the Mazdak hordes, Nub-khans allows his entrance in exchange for men in his group of followers that fight in the frontline against Egypt, and in exchange he is let freely to preach about the streets of Meroe.

- Spymaster Chemmis works successfully in creating spy networks in the former states of the Roman Empire, as well as Mazdak's empire.

- Pharaoh Nub-Khas sees the new change in regime on Egypt as a good opportunity as any to expulse the Berber Invaders, and extinguish their Arabic Cult. He calls his Aksumite allies to invade Egypt and Mazdak, and a coalition led by General Ammenepthes of Aksumite, Arab and Meroic soldiers managed to defeat the barely organized Egyptian forces of Adiusit in Combat, with most of his forces focused on reconquering Heddi's state. The advance is stopped reaching Setbe, where Arab mobs of soldiers led by Mazdak defeat our organized military just reaching the city, forcing us to fall back to Mendjepis.

- A collection of stories is put down by the priests of Kush to create a canonized Kushite bible for our church. While many other bibles have been made, ours uses the freshest sources from the life of Jesus, especially about his birth in Belen and short life in Galilee.

This is one of the first recorded examples of musical theatre, first recovered from a collection in Alexandria in the early years of the Prosperous Mazdak Period. This time saw flowering of music and drama amongst the eygptian nation.

As some day it may happen that a victim must be found,
I've got a little list, I've got a little list
Of hateful little nations who might well be underground,
And who never would be missed, they never would be missed!
There's Angry Foreign Wandrers, Christian Pirates and that sort
Berber Princes who retire to Spain the minute they get caught
Or those who have their noses pierced or men who braid their hair
The idiots who think their foreign gods are real and care
And fearful knights who on oppressing common men insist
They'd none of them be missed, They'd none of them be missed!

CHORUS: He's got them on the list, He's got them on the list
And they'll none of them be missed, They'll none of them be missed.

There's the people with pretentious names, Old Heddi comes to mind
And the sacking pillagist, I've got him on the list!
All muggers, traitors, buggers, haters, people of that kind.
They never would be missed, They never would be missed!
That angry little Pharoah, on the river to the South.
Who has a horde of slaves pouring food into his mouth
And poncey little emperors with a Byzantine state
Who tried to rule the world but will collapse, it is their fate
And who on close observance must be either stoned or pissed
I don't think they'd be missed, I'm sure they'd not be missed!

CHORUS: He's got them on the list, He's got them on the list
And they'll none of them be missed, They'll none of them be missed.

There's the beggars who spend all their coin on poopies of the east
To their lives it simply Grist, I've got him on the list!
Barbarians and visigoths and every other nasty beast
They'd none of 'em be missed, They'd none of 'em be missed.
All angry heathens, cowards, men who lead as though they're blind
All people who mistreat the horse, Italians of all kinds
And kings up in Iberia, with many forces to spare
But are scared of newer progress and not going anywhere.
But anyway I think by now you must have got the gist
They'd none of them be missed, They'd none of them be missed!

CHORUS: You may put them on the list, You may put them on the list
And they'll none of them be missed, they'll none of them be missed!

The Britiaci chronicle is a collection of annals in Latin chronicling the history of the Britiaci. The original manuscript of the Chronicle was created during the reign of King Callum Riley. Multiple copies were made of that one original and then distributed to temples across the kingdom, where they were independently updated as time went on.

The Island of Britiacinia is an old land, one often filled with conflict and blood as clans vied for power. It was only with the arrival of our people that the land began to unify under a single banner, but even this was not without troubles. Our brothers the Bretiaci fled back across the channel, the Picti raided from the north and the coming of the Germans heralded only another in a long line of conflicts as they sought to conquer the lands for themselves. But the Britiaci are a strong people, proud and well-versed in conflict. We will not fall of easily to these hostile tribes and kingdoms. We will endure, we will rule and these new challengers will be washed away, like pebbles under the tide of the great sea.

-Excerpt from the Britiaci chronicle

And so a new capital was chosen and named Rilhold from which all subjects of the kingdom could travel freely to by road or water, for it lay at the center of the kingdom, a beacon for its subjects and a bulwark against the invaders.

-Excerpt from the Britiaci chronicle

Thus with the fall of the Romans came a new age, a dark age, from which the peoples of the former Romans lands suffered the invasions and conquests of Rome's old enemies. Only three remained, Gallia, Byzantium and Britiaci who held some essence of the old order. Britiaci alone held the fewest of these ties. But held itself against the coming hordes as an examples to all peoples of the old Roman world. Britiaci alone may yet survive.

-Excerpt from the Britiaci chronicle

Religion: Hinduism
Language: Hindi
Traditions: Trading, Mining, Desert Kingdom.
Relations: none
Military: Late Classical

Issues: Alexandrist rebels, Christian Conversion Crisis, Inhabited villages, war with Gupta.

- The kingdom of Gujarat, created by Mahadaji following the collapse of the Guptan empire and the appearance of the Shangurian of East. Mahadaji consolidated the claims to most of his lands by hiring bands of former nomads now settled into Indian culture, to reclaim most of his father's former lands away from his brothers, designated as official regents by both Shangurian and Guptan authorities while he was ousted from power. Now with an army and connections amongst influential individuals who would see benefit from erasing foreign influence on this land. Gujarat is now its own independent kingdom, and the king has solidified his position by pleasing the different lords wishes: war against Gupta, and the removal of Buddhist and Alexandrist influences.

- Policy with foreign religions on Gujarat has taken a hard stance, converts of Buddhism and Alexandrism who are seen preaching or talking about the faith are met with imprisonment and execution. This has worked to dissuade Buddhist preachers, but Alexandrists prefer to fight back in organized guerilla groups against our forces, rather than flee to Shangur to any other country that tolerates their presence. A new group, called Christians, has taken a far more different stance, instead of accepting imprisonment, these converts prefer to be executed, preferably in places where there are many witness to see the act, this has led to many converts of their cult to appear in Gujarat, and despite how many of them we kill they simply keep popping up like a pest.

- With many Buddhist communities fleeing their former communities, many towns and settlements are now completely empty, and led to unproductivity in the trading field, which is the only main source of income in the empty arid regions of Gujarat, we either need to replenish these towns to maintain trade routes or be forced to find a new source of income.

Issues: Bujog Raids.

- The kingdom of Yaiyo is as ancient as far as historical records of japan can attest, the kingdom, born out of an aristocracy of samurais who controlled the many rice fields of the region, quickly emerged as a powerful naval state, outfitting the best naval tactics from Korean, Chinese and other Japanese sailors, while maintaining control of important trade routes into the island. On the Northeast, the kingdom of Osoto has thrived with as much efficiency as that of ours, they sport the most organized army in the island, and quickly rose to dominate many other city-states around them, now quickly turning into one of our main rivals contesting for power over Japan. Lastly, the City-States of Bujog, a confederation which descends from Korean refugees who arrived at the island a long time ago, have performed raids into our territory for a while now, but we have not been able to make them stop due do the nature of the confederation being unable to administer what all of the cities under in its control do.

- The City-states of Bujog have adopted many Japanese customs since the first settlers arrived and conquered the towns south of our state, and yet, despite this, they still retain many of the traditions and dialects of their Korean ancestors, making them indistinguishably foreigners and thus, outcasts by the largely xenophobic population of Japan, however, General Funai Seishisai believes we could ally some of these city-states and send them to attack Osoto, so it is weakened enough for our armies to conquer it.

Issues: Rebels, Anglo-Saxon Tensions, Manpower Shortage, War with Eire, Pictish war.

- The king converts to Christianism, to help integrate the new religion into the Britiaci people without disrupting the local traditions, by adding the folklore of the Hellenic world, as well as those of the British Isles people is integrated into the Canon of Christianism. Mythos and fantastical creatures that have been part of the local culture from way back from the times Britons inhabited these lands are canonized, as manifestations of the Holy Spirit on earthly beings. Callum even goes as far as to include Zoroastrian tales in his biography, written to enlarge the figure of the King to that of a grand hero of all the British people, who obtained his right to rule from a sword given to him by a mystical lake entity, and his heroic feats fighting the barbaric Anglo-Saxon people

- Decades of royal marriages, diplomatic exchanges and military assistance, the Kingdoms of Gallia and Britiaci have achieved such a cooperative relationship, that they could now be considered one. Chancellor Jensen has decided to solidify this tie, during a time when the Gallic Empire enters a succession crisis, and one of Callum's Sons, chosen to take the throne after all other options are exhausted, in the end, King James Arthur, becomes duke of the province of Normandy and Bretiani. The King worries however, that this announcement will invalidate peace treaties made with the franks, which means they will try their hand at conquering this side of the strait anytime soon, but, their wars in the east will keep them busy for now.
- With so many conflicts across the country, the king has made a call for unity against the barbarians, remembering his lords how these savages need to be saved using the same light the Romans used to save us from savagery, and how only the Britiaci lords, the real successors to Rome, can achieve this. Now remembering their duty, separatist ideas from the Roman ideal are snuffed, replaced with the fire of Civilization and Tradition, and the people who once called Callum a Roman Lapdog, now praise him as a solid Britianic Leader.

- Gallus Caepasius leads the armies used to defeat the franks towards the Germanic invaders and rebels, and apply the same tactics against a similar enemy. Many wars are fought in the countryside against their legionaries, but finally they are brought to heel after a decisive victory against a combined Anglo-Saxon force of thousands of men. The defeat is decisive, and the petty Germanic kings are forced to be subjects of Britiaci law, but the large Germanic communities that have been established in the shores of East Anglia cannot be uprooted by our soldiers without causing widespread unhappiness amongst the foreign populace, and so they are left to live there, while their petty lords are annexed as vassals. Despite this, many border tensions still occur between the local Britianic people and the Germanic Settlers, which might escalate into a new war.

- Other Germanic kings have migrated their people from their original disembarking point, and have sailed towards Northumbria, were they have renewed efforts with local Picts refugees to attack our Kingdom.

- Picts are also invaded by Gallus, but his Anti-Germanic tactics have little use against the highlander people of the Picts, leading to many losses before the tribes are finally subdued, and forced to relocate elsewhere for the Britianic people.

- With wars being fought on all sides, Gallus notices a severe lack of soldiers in his ranks, with a lack of able-bodied men in the cities, and Foreign Mercenaries, which made up most of the forces in the frontlines, have been forbidden in the army following tensions with Germanics and other tribal people perceived as savages. We need either more manpower, or an ally to aid us in battle.

- King Callum passes away peacefully in his sleep, his legend passed down through generations as poets and bards sing his stories, and biographies make sure to include his footnote in Britiaci history and all dukes and new kings try to replicate his persona.

- The Hephtalites are offered an alliance with the state of Shangur but they are quickly deposed of by a rising Turkic Khanate, which have raid both our territory and that of nomads east, driving the Hephtalites away from the Basin and placing themselves as the strongest tribal confederacy of east, their advance has cost them a lot of men, but their resilience has placed them at the doors of Bacriana, and they threaten to take Xialensk if they are not stopped. The Hephtalites have relocated to India, taking over our holdings and using our established bases to launch raids deeper into India.
- a new ministry is opened by the Lord Protector, the ministry of documents, it takes charge of organizing all the historical records and registries of the Kingdom as well as translating documents from local parts of their holdings to Shangurian.

- Conquered provinces are revolting, our philosophy to apply republicanism to all areas we take has not been seen lightly by the noble families and aristocrats in Iran, some demand positions of power in the new administration thanks to their large amounts of wealth such as Budday and Persia, while others simply want Shangur to go, and will do what is necessary for it.

- The Shangurian army is reorganized, instead of relying on nobles and their levies, soldiers are hired as any other government worker, with payment, food and even housing being given to them, skyrocketing the number of recruits to a triple of the previous army.
- After a series of diplomatic meetings with the court of Gujarat, an offer to purchase the previous lands held by Shangur on the Indus valley is sent. They accept, opening the path for friendly relations with India.
- Mazdak missionaries have entered our territory, with caravans of food and books of Mazdakite literature, this helps their ideology spread like the plague amongst the areas ravaged the most by the war, and we have now many Mazdak converts in our territory, they are not dangerous as of now, but with Mazdak still alive, it will not be long before they join his cause.
- Ash'kaebt has arrived at the walls of the holy city of Cetaspion, he watches in horror and disgust as hordes of Mazdakites flood the gates and overrun the city, capturing it and claiming their successor the next great prophet, he longs for seeing Mazdak's head on a pike along with all his followers, decorating the walls of the city, but he is forced to wait and set up camp, as the armies are not ready to face this enemy, and the borders must be secured before they can advance. Ash'kaebt moves on to invade the Sassanids and Baburids at the orders of Shangur, and faces with the Sassanid prince "Sattar Nemati" in battle many time, the war is fierce thanks to the spirit of the prince, and the Iranian people's mountain tactics prove a match with those of Shangur, while in the cities, the resistance of the largely Zoroastrians peoples manifest trough bloody and tiresome urban warfare, where local soldiers in Persis and Aridh, through the sympathy of their families and friends, are given protection inside civilian houses, making the act of quelling resistance a monumental task for the Shangurian Army. Ultimately, they are defeated and annexed, Sattar is captured and killed by a stray arrow during the capture of Persis, but the continuous rebellions in the cities force the Shangurian to concede many rights to the provinces.

- Zoroastrian-Christians have begun rebellions against the authority of Shangur, it is unknown what begun the spark but many are discontent with their crusading overlords, and areas of Iran such as Persis and Purgam, demand to be ruled by a local Christian and Zoroastrian leaders.

Religion: Mazdakism
Language: Mauritanian, Mazdak (religious)
Relations: Mazdak (Ally)
Traditions: Proto-socialism, Sea Farers, Mazdak.
Military: Early Medieval
Issues: War with Mauritania, War with Kush, War with Assyria

- With the advent of Mazdakism and the abolition of aristocrats, nobles and even clergy, a new elite force has replaced them in power of Egypt, Adiusit has rebuilt the naval and army academies in Alexander, opening it to the public and not just available to the most rich, a Meritocracy system is put in place for elected officials, ditching influences and wealth over skill and ability, and with the confiscated wealth of the previous officials, the administration of the state is increased heavily, as in order to support the dream of shared distribution for the masses one needs a well machined to make it work. With this a new ruling class appears, one consisting of intellectuals, teachers and bureaucrats of Berberia.

- Mazdak becomes the official religious language of Berberia, a combination of Persian and Arabic, the language has little use for the largely Mauritanian/Egyptian speaking people, so while it is a required language in for everyone to learn, its use doesn't erode the local language and largely keeps Mazdak's men happy.

- Missionary missions, carrying food and medicine for people's relief are sent all whenever possible to spread the word of Mazdak, mainly in Anatolia, Mesopotamia and India. These caravans of Samaritans are seen by other governments as an attempt to rile up the common classes to rise against their masters, and are thus attacked and massacred whenever seen, this however, has the inverse effect on the population, who convert to avenge the death of the good people who spread the word of equality, and proceed to defy their authority. Missionaries on the inside report much better news, with most of the population of Egypt converting to Mazdakism, some to reap its benefits while others prefer to give up their wealth rather than be executed.

- Spy networks are reinforced and counter-espionage agencies are created
- armies are raised and are used to attack the Kushite, with the Mazdak mobs being harder to control, they are used to lure in lone attacks from Kushite soldiers as to distract them, while more professional units move in on key forts and advance outposts. As Kushite soldiers advance, these soldiers retreat, this has the effect of forcing Kush to overextend, but also buys them time to fortify Mendjepis which, after a few attacks and sieges proves to be neigh impenetrable. Fiden has thus taken a different approach to the war, and gone on a warpath across the home territory of the Meroe, freeing slaves and arming common folks to overtake their masters, causing enough revolt to allow us to conquer Setri, and move on to Djedrithus, but the fear the Kushite can counterattack at any time from the city puts a halt to the invasion, now they are hoping to negotiate, before the war

- Volunteers and ships are sent to Mazdak to aid him in battle, as well as top of the line weapons and armors, with Mazdak himself leading a successful conquest against the weakening empire of Byzantium, now moving on the conquer the Assyrian Romans and Shangurian Greeks, but as Mazdak himself gets older he is forced to leave much of the expansion to his most trusted generals, he organizes a caliphate led by a strong leader accompanied by a pious council, and names Adiusit as designated successor, which will confer power upon his death. The council designated by Mazdak has been discovered by our spies however, to silently disavow support for Berberia, claiming they are not true followers of Mazdak and hoping to have an Arab ruler in Adiusit place.

- Heddi is usurped from his throne, his claim, already weak, is revoked, and his supporters are cleansed in mass, to replace his Christian holdouts in North Africa, counterespionage efforts are focused on his former domains, and rebel cells and rooted out each day. Mauritania has declared war on us following the conquest of their ally.

- Nobles who didn't fled or were executed, have formed an Anti-Mazdak rebellion, using mercenaries, pirates, foreign forces and any other men the can scrape, it seems their rebellion is based on Farish, a still predominantly Christian city, and spies have also warned they obtain foreign help from Mauritania, Kush and even Romans.

Issues: War with Sundapura

- The kingdom has gone far much in the last couple of years, as industries become more advanced with time, and taxes are introduced and reformed to adjust to the needs of the state, and designed to not strangle the growing classes in Kolongulla.

- King youwearie cautions Ninawa about the intentions of Chancellor Bamaga, he quickly understands the motivations behind the ascension of his father to the throne, and has Bamaga arrested, but his arrest only motivates the fires of rebellion he already begun, and the Kolongullan tribe is forced to take side between those who want a dual monarchy, and those who prefer to separate from the center of power in Yargeh, with their own autonomous city-states. The arrest of Bamaga leads to many of these rebellions being put down with ease, as his associates are quickly tracked down and imprisoned.

- the Malay city-states are revolting, the local leaders have declared a confederation of their own, made up of mostly Malayan people, similarly to Tarumanagara, but using the benefits obtained from Kolongullan society to their advantage instead, such as irrigation and mining

- Soon however, differences in ruling occurs between both kings, and soon attitudes clash as decisions cannot be recon ciliated, even with mediation from the Kolongullan Council, with Ninawa looking to assimilate locals by force if necessary, while the new king Tindibarkonbri prefers a pacifist and leanier actitude at admitting new tribes into Kolongulla, even preferring them to maintain their own customs and traditions. If this keeps up it might indicate a civil war in the future, unless one of them is disposed of.

- King Ninawa orders the commission of a great piece of architecture, a temple, commemorating the greatness of the elder gods; he also makes sure to put a statue of himself at the center of it, greatly suggesting his position as main god amongst all deities.

- Travel ships now can go as far as China, proving that the legends about the rich middle kingdom are real, and trade outposts as well as embassies are established there. India still proves too far away thanks to the many city-states and kingdoms blocking our path.

- Chancellor Nargie has arranged for elephants to become part of Kolongullan everyday life, they become parts of festivals, combat, a commodity for the rich class, and even a religious symbol, as a small cult has started in Yargeh that worships these beasts, and has become a great way to control the populace, who go wherever the elephants go, and consider their killing to be a sin in the eyes of god.

Issues: War with Berberia, Mazdak Revolts, Widespread Unrest

- Mendjepis is fortified to prepare it for the incoming Mazdak hordes, which are now come in greater numbers than ever before, Ammenepthes has his men regularly scout the outskirts of the city, and to engage the cultists using hit-and-run tactics to avoid large confrontations, this helps neutralize a large number of their men, but once the siege of the city begins the numbers prove too colossal to even defend against, as the savagery of the illiterate hordes ultimately lower the morale of the men inside, and the city is finally overrun, with many of the top officials, priests, generals and other noblemen of the city executed in horrible ways by the angry mobs. After the siege of Mendjepis, it is said the corpse of Ammenepthes body could be found severely mangled and trampled, 200 meters away from his head, which was severed and put on a pike near a mountain of his dead men. Berber-Mazdak forces have capitulated on their victory, and advanced with their armies to Meroe, where the Berbers are quick to sack the defenseless capital, before they are driven away by an auxiliary force of Ethiopians, but not before leaving many irreparable damages to the capital, and spreading their toxic ideology wherever they go.

- An academy is opened on the capital, focusing on Mathematics and Philosophy, and funds are given to scholars who come to present their works on Meroe, giving a rise to more talent around the capital and quickly becoming one of the most important academies of the African world, attracting Arabian, Aksumite and Berber scholars alike

- The army is modernized as much as possible, using the latest in technology found in Mendjepis left from the previous administration; we are now at the most advanced military capacity that our neighbors can offer us.

- Kushite spies in Arabia organize an assassination attempt against the warlord Mazdak, they infiltrate into his inner chambers as part of his harem and manage to stab him in the heart before leaving unnoticed, and yet, the Mazdak hordes keep on pouring from the hills, with the same zealotry as if their leader was still alive, either his death has not been informed to the mobs, or his presence on earth transcends earthly forms, and if the latter is correct, then truly apocalyptic times approach.

- Attempts are made to rile up the former Zoroastrian and Judaist churches of Egypt to fight back Mazdak and his influence, but their power in the region is too strong, their convert numbers go up by the day as the common and disenfranchised masses of Egypt flock to fight in the name Mazdak, and the rightful restoration of the equality of the world by all means necessary.

- Counter-espionage is enforced on Kushite territory, they find a large network of Mazdak hidden underneath the capital, which has been spreading socialist ideals amongst the populace, The Network is eradicated quickly, but the damage is already done, and Mazdak converts have begun appearing in our cities causing strife and chaos to subvert our order.

- Mazdak naval forces are defeated on the Red Sea, giving Aksum and Kush control over the waters, which helps them maintain their trade income, it doesn't stop.

- With our failure in our war against Berberia, we have been forced to cede conquered provinces, pay reparations, and even force us to convert to Mazdakism, Nub-khas has not agreed to the last term, and the general unrest caused by the defeat has fueled a Mazdak Faction within the kingdom to stage an uprising, forming a confederacy with local nomad tribes, to usurp Nub-Khas's throne.

- Muhammad has fled once again, as Meroe is sacked by Mazdak forces; he escapes with his followers across the desert to the ports of Alexandria, where he hopes to get away from them as much as possible.

- You have been defeated. You may rejoin the game as Christian Kush or Mazdak Kush or start a new nation in unclaimed territory, or you may continue playing as an existing nation not already claimed by a player.

- The land previously owned by Shangur is sold to them for a hefty price, and in order to avoid future conflicts Chancellor Surya has organized to exchange embassies with Shangur, solidifying relations between both neighbors and focusing our expansion solely east.

- With the money obtained from Shangur, the army is upgraded and quickly mobilized to fight against Gupta, and they are defeated quickly, with most of their lands annexed for Gaidatara, following this, land grants are given to the soldiers of the conquest to settle in former Gupta land, terrorizing and enslaving local communities to make their homes there.

- Hephtalites, Turkish raiders from the east, are raiding our cities and provinces, making loot from our hard earned treasuries, and threatening to take our lands once they mount a good enough offensive.

- Hindu culture is celebrated!, King Mahadaji orders the publishing of many Hindi works and sacred texts amongst the populace, and many festivities focused around the deities and their worship are organized, which helps keep the population largely happy, while non-Hinduism is prohibited and other faiths considered heretical, being taxed with a special "war tax" unless they convert. This has helped scare off the Buddhist and Alexandrists, but Christians still refuse to convert or even stop proselytizing their faith, they gain numbers by the days mostly from the urban poor and people at the bottom of the caste system, as guards continue to execute them to get rid of them, and they seek execution to achieve martyrdom. Their presence riles up the Hindi conservative masses more against them, demanding more Christian executions or their exile from the Kingdom, either way they prove to be here to stay.

Nation Name: Jylland
Language Base: Norse
History: For many years, the Jutland peninsula was divided into numerous petty kingdoms vying for complete control of the region. The constant warfare in the region would give rise to a society of warriors and adventurers who fought underneath these kings in their wars of conquest. Although these warriors were proficient in fighting on the land, from time to time, they fought on the sea as well. With time, the Jutes would quickly become experts at navigation and soon began to raid and explore the North Sea.

Many Jutes also participated in the various migrations of Germanic groups onto England. Some even attempted a bold attack on London itself, although this force was thoroughly defeated. Many retreating Jutes would go on to accompany the other Germanics to Ireland, but a small group of men chose to return home. By unknown means, the leader of this band would go on to unite the various petty kingdoms under his control.
Location: Danish portion of the Jutland peninsula.

Let's get even more fun in Northern Europe.

Nation Name: Livonia
Language Base: Norse/Livonian
History: For second son of second son it was way easier to carve your own kingdom than hope for inheritance. And so many warriors from norse kingdoms in Jutland and Scania gathered in adventorous hosts to establish their own petty kingdoms. Most went westward, to the glorified Picts and Britaci lands, but some went east. One such group targetted emerging petty kingdom of Livs living nearby the Daugava river. They raided it, killed the leaders and subjugated nearby tribes. Leader of the host, Yarrick Vislavson crowned himself king while the other either remained by his side as his royal guard or have been given lands in the new Kingdom.

Location: lands of modern Estonia and Latvia (or as much land as you I can reasonably have in the vicinity of Riga)

The Truest Heirs of Ancient Kings
(Aka: Historical revisionism for dummies)
While Andasuit ruled partially through being the chosen representative of Mazdak and having the military loyal to him, several traditionalist communities and tribes that remained nomadic remained under his service at least partially due to his claim on the throne by blood, from his father in eygpt and his grandfather further east. While Eygpt saw him as one of their own for the most part, and was indeed the land he was raised in further east more remained who challenged his rule, claiming him to have abandoned the path of the great king Medghasen. This dispute over whether he was a true heir became all the more important when the war with Mauritania arrived.

Now in order to prevent these claims doing anymore damage something had to be done. Fortunately between the flourishing arts across the nation and the increase in government involvement in everyday life there was a soloution as many stories and plays depicting Meghdasen in a new light were produced. These tended to focus on his own actions of empowering the weak and while embellished several instances where already well known. His origins as a slave, him distributing the large Punic estates to the poor Berber sharecroppers and skilled but lowly tribesmen reaching ranks of great importance in his government. Perhaps the greatest example of this comes from the already famous musical theatre scene, though this example comes from Utome not Alexandria, the play in question was Meghdasen: From Slave to King and focused moe on his early years, it also contained the now famous song Ride.

MEGHDASEN
Riders, we got this
You ain't lost this
Yo, I know every new thought is
That there ain't no way in Anzhu that we'll win

All your worries
Come in flurries
But we beat them in the scurries
Look how far we've come, we can't give in

It's one foot forward at a time
Dust off all that grit and grime
We still got a lot left to do

'Cause our people are counting on us
And I'm counting on you

TRIBE (spoken)
Onwaaards!

MEGHDASEN
Ride
Just Ride
Stay ahead
And Stay ahead
And Stay alive

We ain't got no time for moping
When we're fighting and we're coping
So look to the Horizon and Ride!

(To the tune of "Drive" from the lightning thief musical)

Adiusit: Ladies and gentlemen, you coulda been anywhere in the world tonight
But you're here with us in Alexandria, the great City
Are you ready for a parliament meeting?
The issue on the table, Chancellor Barakat's plan to redistribute state power, and establish a democratic path.
Priest Mazdal Shahin, you have the floor, sir

Mazdal: Life, equality and the pursuit of happiness
We fought for these ideals we shouldn't settle for less
These are wise words, enterprising men quote 'em
Don't act surprised, you guys, 'cause I wrote 'em (ow)
But Baraket ain't telling you
His plan would make sure it's local councils we govern through
Now, place your bets as to who that gives power to
The administration Baraket comes from, that is who
Oh, if the shoe fits, wear it
If Morocco can't get food in it's our caravan that ships it.
Uh, the system works, without your clerks
Don't break it into pieces, that's beserk
When one area plants seeds in the ground
And one creates, it's up to us to move the pieces around
This governmental plan is an outrageous demand
And it's too many damn pages for any man to understand
Stand with me in the land of the free and pray to Mazda we never see Barakat's plan come to be
Look, when we're divided and infighting warlords get frisky
So breaking up our power, that's real risky.

Adiusit: Thank you, Mazdal Shanin
Chancellor Baraket, your response

Baraket: Mazdal, that was a real nice declaration
Welcome to the present, we're running a bigger nation
Would you like to join us, or stay brittle
Where the best thing coming out of your mouth, is just some spittle?
If we assume the split the power, the nation's flower with grow to tower, over all who glower
How do you not get it, if we're flexible and competitive
The union gets a boost, you'd rather give it a sedative?
This from the son of a slaver, hey neighbor
That system works when you oppress all your labor

I know there are those who feed. Others create.Yeah, keep ranting
It's up to farmers who should represent all those planting
And another thing, Mr. Cult of Enlightenment
Don't lecture me about the war, you didn't fight in it
You think I'm frightened of you, man?
We almost died in the sands
While you were off listening to Macaroba's bands
Mazdal Shanin , never keen prefers to fret and preen
Reticent there isn't a workshop where he's ever been
Your fellows, seem to scared of common people, take your medicine
Damn, you're in worse shape than Heddi's nation's
Sittin' there useless as two shits
Hey, turn around, bend over, I'll show you where my shoe fits

Adiusit: Excuse me, Preist Mazdal Shanin, take a walk
Baraket, take a walk, we'll reconvene after a brief recess, Baraket

- Hostilities with Shangur are temporarily ended, the peace treaties are signed to temporarily cede occupied territories to the newly rising empire, and once the Mazdak threat was put down, press our claims to Ctesiphon once again. A powerful coalition is formed, with aid of Byzantium and Shangur, who provide most of the backbone to wear down the Mazdak Mobs, pushing back the Mazdak converts and reconquering previous lands. The invasion is put to a stop on Phoenicia thanks to Berberian naval power, where egyptian ships land and meet the Roman forces at Antioch, defeating the aggressors and recovering parts of Syria for the Mazdak Caliphate.
- Not long after this however, the death of Mazdak brings the Caliphate appart, as the new Arab-centric government ramps up its expansionist policies, attempting to dismantle locally elected councils in Mazdak territory and replace them with Arab governors that respond directly to the government in Hedjaz, causing revolts across the middle east, and further skirmishes against Arab troops alongside sabotage operations, manage to divide the Mazdak world between Berbers in North Africa, Arabs in Hedjaz, Iranians in Uruk and Greeks in Anatolia.
- Khazar turks have arrived to the steppes, raiding our cities in the caucasus and taking crimea from us, which has become far more profitable as a trade port recently, making it a great loss for the empire.
- Missionary efforts and diplomats are sent to the tribe that was separated from the Khazars, one of the strongest tribes in the area accept conversion and an alliance with Assyria, conquering the rest of the region and forming the Christian Kingdom of Carpathia to the north of us.
- The defeat of the Caliphate has not calmed down the remaining Mazdak converts in the captured regions, where they have mounted local guerillas to fight back Assyrian authority.

  • Hagrim Maksson, Jute adventurer and explorer, brave king and conqueror, once sailed the seas to plunder and loot the richer kingdoms of the Christians, but now found a new destiny, as his father is about to pass away, he inherits a small chiefdom alongside soldiers and peasants to his disposal. He quickly sails back to Denmark, where he finds out his lands have been torn apart by continuous warfare, by either warlords fighting amongst themselves, or ruthless Franks uprooting our people and erasing our gods. Hagrim quickly consolidated his power over Denmark, using the loot earned from his raids to invest in his armies, giving him the upper hand against the lesser Nordic states. He now only has two remaining obstacles before securing his borders, the Franks in the south, and the swedes in the north.
- Franks continue to expand on rightful Jute territory, and while some of our raids in Normandy have brought much loot and weapons that can be use to fight the Christian pigs, their defenses and organization is far too advance to actually push them back, and have maintained an active presence in Denmark, even after the split of their empire.
- Jylland has joined in various expeditions with important viking warlords from Sweden, in one of them achieving the conquest of the lowlands, an important trade port in the Frankish empire, who's deeply flooded territory proves to be advantageous for our longboats ships to attack. It is now summer, and Ivar is ready to conquer the island his father was slain on, England.
- a strange woman has approached the court of king Hafgrim, she claims to possess powers given to her by the gods, and was sent to earth to maintain the balance of the worlds, as they are about to collide and cause the doom of our people, she claims to have travelled beyond the Frankish Borders, to the land of the hostile mountains of Eispanea, and sailed on the deep sea where the coasts of the world meet. • Upon having the locals slain and enslaved by our people it is time to decide how to divide the land earned by our soldiers, unfortunately it is unanimously agreed all land should be given to the leaders of operation, the Chief, his family, and his court, leaving the peasants, serfs and slaves to work land they do not own making food and goods they cannot consume, while the lower class has been controlled rightly, this has caused a severe income inequality in the Kingdom and the wealth is only accumulated more as generations pass, like nordic tradition dictates , and with Gavelkind still being the law., it won't be long before our state decays into absolute chaos.

Eire's conversion doesn't change their diplomatic stance as hostile towards Britiaci, and neither causes unrest nor any noticeable rebellions, instead, helping to unify the Irish kingdoms even more now.
- Anglo-Saxon tensions are at all time-high, attempts to integrate Germanics into Britianic society have proven futile as they refuse to let go of their old traditions, and our agents can't penetrate into their closed communities, rather, they are uprooted by force, by branding them as pagans and heathens to rally crusading orders, the refugees, either escape north and form their own kingdom in Northumbria, while the rest join in with the Viking raiders in their attacks.
- Picts are defeated for good, their lands north annexed, while the rest of their tribe is conquered by Vikings and other warlords, but the highlands still prove to be no man's land for Britiaci agents.
- Viking raiders have appeared in our shores, their attacks, caused by Frankish incursions into Denmark, have been motivated primarily by money and loot, and while they manage to raid some of our cities and churches, we put a stop to some northmen warlords, killing their men along with them. Months later, our sailors spot a massive fleet, commandeered by Drakkar Long ship boats, who have landed on the Isle of Man, and proceeded to burn the church of Saint Thomas to not only threaten Britianic autonomy, but set up a forward outpost for their attack. Our men report their army has yet to fully arrive, but the remaining men have begun raiding our coasts.

Government: Merchant Republic
Retinue: Lord Protector Yang Lievnov (CE B, 12), Grand Monk Zhang Kristov (NG B, 10), Stratego Ling Foma (NG S, 13), Grand Trader Xuan Ugolev (CE C, 13)
Religion: Alexandrism
Language: Shangurian
Traditions: Mountain men, Burghers, Meritocracy
Relations:
Military:
High Medieval
Issues: Turkic Invasion, Mazdak Converts, War with Mazdak, Rebellions, Protests at the Capital.

- Xuan Ugolev has been named Grand Trader, and Ling Foma has taken the place of Strategos.
- The egalitarian system of Shangur has brought as a necessity the need to find the brightest and most able-bodied individual in local areas, these men, ranging from all types of backgrounds and filling all types of roles in our system, often travel across our borders, which now stretch as far as Mesopotamia and Tibet, leading to heavy investments on the silk road by the trade powers of Shangur, slowly forcing the nation to become a Multi-ethnic empire, addressing issues of Zoroastrians, Christians, Mazdak and Alexandrists subjects alike, Burghers and Merchants, once subjects of warlords and Iranian nobles, now dominate the political spectrum of Middle Asia, with divisions in all cities from India to Mesopotamia.
- A population exchange deal is arranged with the Kingdom of Gujarat, it goes smoothly bureaucratic wise as people of each religion are relocated successfully, but quite a hell to the people who are removed from their homes, and forced to relocate to the other side of the Indus Valley, crossing a desert and a river to settle completely new land. In order to stop any rebellions, the Lord Protector grants the region status as a Client Republic, and left to manage most of their trade income while leaving the defense to Shangur.
- The Annexation of the Iranian administration has proved to be a burden that has stimulated the evolution of Shangur from its previous state. The Councilmen have slowly lost their vetoing power, as Direct Action by the very Competent line of Lord Protectors has proven to be more effective and time efficient at addressing crisis, conquering nations, and has even turned the tide in the Republic's favor once or twice. But now, it is in the hands of Yang Lievnov, a man who rose to power thanks to his influence in the Merchant's Guild, has used his influence to slowly degrade power in Afghanistan to favor the much more profitable lands of Iran, investing heavily in what many consider to be foreign people, and disenfranchised Shangurians have begun waves of vandalism, protests and civil disobedience to have their Lord Protector impeached, and a change of government to ocurr, but the general sentiment hasn't reached the elites of Shangur to incur for an actual change.
- In an attempt to Quell the rebellion, many Autonomous Regions are created to appease the population; Uruk, whose population is largely Mazdaks, staged a coup to replace the yearly elected religiously moderate governor, for a council of Radical Mazdak followers, attempting to conquer the Holy City and accomplish the prophecy of their late followers. Shangran, whose residents still harbors anti-Shangurian sentiments, but largely dissolved by replacing the local clergy with certified priests, approved by Shangurian courts to preach in a church, but this has only pushed the rebellion into the underground, where a new cult, the Apocalysts, believe that the next real saoshyant will come to strike both the Shangurian and Mazdak menace, and that then, the fate of humanity will be sealed, in eternal doom for the sinners, false prophets and apostates, and light for the true believers of Ahura, Ash' Kaebt, with a largely mixed population, united by their devotion to the pious Strategos who liberated the local populace, he has ruled as elected leader by almost all the communities he holds, making the throne of his kingdom an elective one, retaining some Republican traditions without disrupting the most conservative population, and finally the Christian State of Parthia, conquered by the Turks. Most of the new sister Republics eventually ended up gaining their independence, as continuous isolation from the Main Capital has severed all contact with our governors.
- The Turkic Khanate has consolidated its power over the steppes, and with control of all hordes, Khan Madrah has organized the largest offensive by a nomad clan Shangur has ever seen. The regions of Afghanistan are spared from the destruction, as the highlands of the mountainous regions, have been turned into highly barricaded fortresses, with walls that extend from cliff to cliff, cutting off all invaders into narrow pathways so that their horse advantages are rendered null, when faced with Shangurian Tactics. Said luck can't be said for Iran, where the devastating blow of the Turkic Invasion has caused despair on the local populace, believing the wrath of god is upon them, and causing local rebellions to take control of our administration, as we are now permanently cut off from Persia by the Turks in Budday.
- Spies in Mazdak sabotage the economic power of the Caliphate, who rely heavily on the merchants that cross the desserts to deliver goods across the silk road, caravan trade stops are destroyed and goods are cut off from their respective regions, causing chaos as weapons don't reach their armies, and food doesn't arrive to the cities, which, coupled with Mazdak's edicts relocating people from the cities into the fields, have turned the former Urban Giants the Romans funded into ghost towns, as they are too expensive and enormous to be properly maintained by the remaining population, and are left off to be looted by petty criminals and Government agents sent to recycle materials for other buildings.

Government: Kingdom
Retinue: Pharaoh Fiden Hakeem (LG B, 12), Chancellor Bani Nasr (CE B, 11), Fire Priest Mazdal Adel (CG C, 13), General Fiden Rahimi (LE A, 11)
Religion: Mazdakism
Language: Mauretanian
Relations: None
Traditions: Proto-socialism, Seafarers, Mazdak.
Military: Early Medieval
Issues: War with Mauritania, War with Hejaz Mazdak, Christian Rebels, Corruption Cases.

- Thousands of ships, all carrying numerous forces of Mazdak soldiers, including egyptian infantry, Mazdak mobs and Various Berber nomad camel warriors, all land on the coasts of Mauritania, with the sole goal of conquering the naval power through a swift land campaign, rather than face their might at sea. The campaign proves to be a struggle for our forces, as the mountainous terrain of Iberia, and its well-entrenched fortifications, the Hispanic Berbers are practically entrenched in their cities, and General Fiden has been unable to advance, as he hasn't been capable of sieging Tameqrant. Resistance doesn't last long, and once the Nomad Berbers land to aid their brothers-in-arms, the combined force of Efficient Siege weaponry, and hit-and-run tactics, allow Mazdak revolutionaries to break into Safrates and Safwah, where forward outposts are constructed by Berberia, contracting the help of the lower folk, and freeing slaves to gain more manpower against the Mauritanians.
- But before they can realize it, Fiden has taken the entire peninsula, and so city after city is wiped of any resistance, chipping out the Kingdom piece by piece, as constant wars push Mauritanian Influence, leaving the capital disconnected from its source of income, and finally, Surrendering to the glory of Mazdak.
- the working system of piety and loyalty as requisites for election has become corrupted, as newly elected officials turn out to be liars, and have ended up stealing from the state and the people, it is unknown to us how many elected officials have been dishonest to take advantage of their fellow countrymen, but estimations measure this network to be very deep.
- A new set of laws are drafted, Introducing the Concept of Human Rights as Recognized by the State, and a rework of previous laws is also introduced, redistributing the Lands of Africa to the people, and abolishing the possession of land by someone not part of the state, as well as reworking many other laws, effectively ending with what was considered the "Old-Regime" of Egypt.
- Attempts are made to Convert the people of Iberia to the Mazdak faith but closer contacts with the Christians here, they exhibit no knowledge of what is Ahura Mazda, or even know Zoroastrianism exists but still, many do hoping to just continue with their lives in peace, while fierce pockets of resistance has formed in Asturias, made up of Christian Berber and Germans, who continue to try and eradicate us from their land.
- The Caliphate of Mazdak is formed, led by an influential Arab man from Macaroba, Izzadeen. He has reoriented the kingdom to favor Arab Mazdak above converts from other backgrounds, and his external policy consist entirely on conquering new territory, rather than expand on what is the path to be a good Mazdak, arguing the path of a real Mazdak is that of war. These policies were seen as expansionists even by Mazdak allies, but the legitimacy of Izzadeen takes a steady drop after his failed attempts to conquer Cetaspion (Taken from them during the Siege of the city by Ash'Kaebt), and the loss of Mesopotamia, coupled with defeats against Assyria and the loss of Allegiance by the Anatolian States, Hedjaz Mazdak is confined now to their territory in Phoenicia and Arabia, the now Hostile Arab state, seeks to reconquering what they consider "rebellious Vassals", including Berberia.
- Aksum steps into Kushite territory, in order to solve the dispute between both factions in the civil war, the kingdom's intervention proves successful, and Mazdak influence put a stop to, before it can penetrate deeper into Africa, but the war leaves Meroe too devastated to form a cohesive government, being left fragmented into several chiefdoms led by warlords.

Retinue: King Ashur Duccius (LE B, 14), Prince Dinkha Loreius (CN A, 15) Chancellor Paseena Betilienus (NE C, 112), Fire priest Yangi Septimus (LG B, 13)
Religion: Christianism
Language: Aramaic
Traditions: Roman Traditions, Ancient Kingdom, Imperial Germ
Relations: Carpania (ally)
Military: High Medieval
Issues: War with Hedjaz Mazdak, Mazdak Converts, Khazar Raiders.

· The Neo Assyrian-Roman Empire, made up of established families from the Mesopotamian Region, and Rich Roman Aristocrats from Italy, who moved to the east region once it was conquered for the empire, opening a new home for the people of Europe, the migrations of Roman Citizens were followed by intermarriage between the local families, and the application of Roman traditions, institutions, religion and even way of life, while at first the region was forced to speak the Latin language, Asian languages are too foreign to the Latin mind, and soon after the collapse of the Capital, Aramaic replaced the Administrative language. War with Byzantium has been postponed to fight the Mazdak menace, which has taken Anatolia, and still has presence with the kingdom of Syria, and both sides of the Same Empire have made up a temporary peace treaty, but it's obvious in the minds of Assyrians, that we must unite the empire under our rule, and follow on the conquest of Iran.
· Attempts to undermine the cult of Mazdak proves fruitless, the fanaticism and fervor of its followers infect everywhere they go, and everywhere they were and are displaced, traces of their evil cult still remain, in the form of dessert guerillas, the minorities under the Assyrian empire prefer to seek a better life under the Guise of Mazdak, rather than be subjected to the oppressive Roman Taxes, and independence movements are influenced by infiltrated Mazdak Agents and missionaries, aside from Historical Christian regions, such as Armenia and the coasts of the Black Sea, which still remain key strongholds even after years of Mazdak Sieges, and naval transportation is faster than the movement of Mazdak mobs, Mazdak influence seems best countered through war, mowing down their terrorist cells wherever they are.
· Relations with Carpathia are strengthened, the former tribal clan is united under one capital located at the heart of the trade going through from the black sea to the Caspian, and many ports are opened to accommodate for the new trade routes from Asia, Assyrian agents assure control of all incoming trade from ships and maintain huge economical control as our ships can't be rivaled by the primitive fleets mustered by the newly created city-states.
· The former flatlands of Carpathia have been tamed with the absence of nomad invasions, work to improve the infrastructure of our client ally for the benefit of safer trade routes fills the coffins of both administration, and colonists are sent all over to populate the plains, leading to new cities on the rise.
· Relations with Shangur are brought back to normality, and trade is resumed by both nations, however, the country soon suffers from revolts and invasion, as Turkic nomads move on their home territory, Iran is splintered by many states, seeking to fill the power vacuum left from the cut off Shangur Administration, the Pseudo-Republic of Ash'Kaebt, created by the former Stratego now Warlord, seeks to conquer all of Persia and liberate the masses from the oppression of monarchy, applying the former traditions of Shangur, and has inevitably found itself in conflict with our soldiers, attempting to govern territory not under his jurisdiction and attacking our forces, causing border tensions, we should expect an attack from them soon unless we attack first.
- Not long after this however, the death of Mazdak brings the Caliphate apart, as the new Arab-centric government ramps up its expansionist policies, attempting to dismantle locally elected councils in Mazdak territory and replace them with Arab governors that respond directly to the government in Hedjaz, causing revolts across the middle east, and further skirmishes against Arab troops alongside sabotage operations, manage to divide the Mazdak world between Berbers in North Africa, Arabs in Hedjaz, Iranians in Uruk and Greeks in Anatolia.

Traditions: Miners, Seafarers, Musicians

Military: Early Classical
Issues:

- Nargie puts his time and effort into reforming the clergy, he notices priests from the now expansive Kolongullan Empire hold a wide-arrange of beliefs, much to the dismay of the Chancellor's plans. He notices a new cult that has sprung around the worship of elephants, whose members claim hold in scriptures the truth and purpose of the elephants on earth, and their connection to previous wise elder Kolongullan leaders, Nargie decides to incorporate this cult to strengthen cultural unity, creating many holidays and festivities to attract the attention of the public, and even has some designs for these beasts to be weaponized, but those still prove to be too expensive as transporting elephants around the Sea is still very difficult.
- During an operation to spy on Tindibarkonbri, one of our agents is discovered by the king himself, and in self-defense, the spy stabs the king, leaving him to bleed out and die. The reckless spy is sentenced and executed, but the consequence of his actions contribute to the upcoming internal conflict of Kolongulla, the kingdom is now divided between loyalist of the Tindibarkonbri who blame his death on Ninawa, and label him an usurper, and those who still support Ninawa's claim to power, with the majority being colonies in Indonesia.
- King Tindibarkonbri is officially usurped from the throne during one of his spiritual visits to Kolongullan temples, and Ninawa declare himself as sole regent much to the dismay of the dual monarchy supporters. Ninawa uses his power on the throne to organize all the levies of the kingdom in order to conquer and annex the Sundapura rebels, the Amphibious operations to take back the city-ports go in an unexpected way, where Ninawa thought he could retake the formerly poor and simplistic ports established in Malay territory, he has encountered heavily fortified city-states, and well trained soldiers which manage to repel our soldiers before they can get to siege and take any ports. With the defeat of Ninawa and Hlein in Sundapura, the kingdom has started demanding the return of Tindibar, and a popular rebellion, possibly started by the king himself; to put him solely in power has started. Now the kingdom is divided between supporters of both regents, with Tagandura capturing the capital and most of the mainland cities, forcing Ninawa to rest his forces in the newly annexed territories, where he reestablishes the capital in Dadin.
- The cannibal Papuans have counter-attacked from their hidden fortifications, during the chaos of the warring states, they overwhelmed our forces, capitalizing on our war to attack our badly prepared troops, taking Garapa and many of our technology with them. Ninaway leads an attack to take back the city, succeeding in establishing a foothold in his previous land, but being swarmed by Papuans everywhere.

· King Hafgrim has not been oblivious to the technology the Franks carry, and their advance tactics in battle compared to the simple Jyllandian Shieldwall, he hopes to imitate their weaponry and allows some Frankish influence to be exerted through spy traders and enslaving Christian missionaries, all with the purpose of discovering the Christian's secrets and technologies, this, alongside the conquest of Frankish and Briton land, have modernized the nation from its previous primitive state to a centralized kingdom, consequently, increasing the number of missionaries and converts of Jutes, and the remaining Pagan population has aggressively demanded Hafgrim get rid of the foreign cult by any means necessary, with Shaman Ljot leading the opposition mobs, while Chief Hring is still unsure on which side to take, being invested in both Christian and Pagan gods equally, but having a slight preference for the progress Christian men have brought.

Issues: war with Orissa, Free Villages

- King Mahadaji is dead, long live king Jaswant! Asha has been named the new Prince regent.
- Diplomatic missions are sent to all neighbors, relations with Gupta are normalized, and a peace treaty is negotiated, shortly after they are invaded and annexed by Orissa, which, alongside Majarastra, have outright refused to accept our diplomatic envoys, Chancellor Surya suggest they might be preparing to invade our nation, but we could quickly turn the powers against each other for our benefit.
- in an attempt to restore production in abandoned regions the King orders groups of settlers to be sent to the area and repopulate, as well as create new towns which will be named "free villages", with the intent of making areas where the caste code is less strict, these towns are populated mostly by Vaishya and Sudra caste members, while outcasts are also sent in mass, preferring to relocate than continue to clean the streets and latrines, and all are given aid through food, education and funds to settle their new home, the project doesn't work out all that well however. While the population of the towns are all considered to be part of the same class regardless of their previous life, a new unspoken caste has appeared, weighing the population by their accumulated wealth, while the poor and undesired, mostly outcasts and Sudras, are forced to make their towns on the outskirts of the more successful settlements. Regardless, the new towns, run by merchant and landowners, manage to make a lot of money for the state, and are considered a success despite the obvious class tensions the cities face, while members of the clergy have called the project an abomination and a blatant disregard for traditions and ancient laws, and call for the cities to be dismantled and its inhabitants purged before the wrath of the gods arrive.
- The Hephtalites are defeated, a combined army of Rival Turkish soldiers, Shangurian Infantry and Indian Soldiers penetrate into the last Bastion in Indo territory, and their remains are divided amongst the parties, we have reclaimed important land in the northeast but this has put us in contact with the rising Turkish power, which has already invaded Shangur and dismantled most of their power nodes in Iran, it is very likely they will strike at us next.
- Nepal has agreed to become our vassal after Orissa conquered their former overlord the Guptans, with the threat of a new kingdom invading their land, our diplomatic talks have made the king of Nepal agree to join us, in exchange for protection, Orissa has already responded by attacking us first, but the network of fortifications and walls ordered by king Mahadaji stop the invaders at its tracks.

GAME IS OPEN AGAIN

hello, is this thing on?

we are back online as fate has decided it is time for this game to come back to life, post your actions and i will begin with turn 11

Summary
Since i figured new players would be lost on what happened before the game ended and old players might want to have their memory refreshed on what happened before i took the liberty of writing a short Summary on some key elements that diverged from traditional historiography.

SUMMARY:

- In the world of Natrp, many things have diverged from the normal course of history as we know it, beginning with the fall of Alexander the Great Empire's:
- Rome expanded their domains as far back as Mesopotamia, after successfully invading the kingdom of Parthia and bringing a sizeable population of Roman Aristocrats to Ctesiphon along with their culture and dooming Iran to an eternal power struggle as the Persian homeland becomes a frontier between the rugged Chinese influenced Shangurian people, and the Latinized elite of Mesopotamia
- A war between empires altered the fate of the historical Jesus Christ, his family, being forced to flee galilee after a fleet of Berber Pirates raided the coasts of their home as part of a larger conflict with Rome, the destruction ended any sort of hope for Jewish independence in the future, while the son of god would continue to spread his words across the far east, from modern day Syria to Afghanistan, turning Persia into the home of "Christianism" a Zoroastrian influenced religion, and bringing many offshoots where the word of god is adapted to the local traditions, going as far back as Europe where it simply was imported from Judaist and Pagan rites that have been practiced in the region for a long time.
- Mazdak, a charismatic yet bloodthirsty leader, once exiled from the holy city of Macaroba, has now enacted his vengeance upon the world, first amassing an army of Arab mobs and mercenaries to conquer and unite the Peninsula, followed by open and swift war against all neighboring states, soon his religion dominated the minds of the people as far back as north Africa, where the kingdom of Berberia established it as their state religion. The economic world of Eurasian trade has entered in crisis as these hostile Mazdak worshippers have monopolized trade between both worlds, with high tariffs for heathens which is pretty much the rest of the world, being more of a problem for Europe than Asian people.
- An earth anomaly has caused a rift between the black and the dead sea, flooding huge portions of the steppe and creating never before seen sea routes to the east that go through friendly byzantine territory directly towards Persia, as the steppe nomads that once inhabited the nearby areas slowly become accustomed to fishing and resources from this event, but many retain their old methods.
- The noble, young and not so serene republic of Shangur, an unique experiment in statecraft which started as a group of tribal mountain men who relied on subsistence agriculture to survive became a Hellenized kingdom integral to maintain the safety of merchant routes in the silk road and finally led to its evolution under a single Greek woman as an egalitarian empire, with an army to match even the huge Persian military, but as its power dwindled and its institutions decayed, many successor states took its place in the power vacuum of Persia, all maintain some sort of connection with the Shangurian state, but directly opposing its perceived tyrannical rule.
- Kolongulla: an indian influenced empire of seafaring Elephant warrior worshippers, that's all you need to know
