We get Naruto, rise to the top of the village, and become the Byakugan queen we were always meant to be!
I also really really like the idea of a Byakugan user using a bow, with Lightning-charged arrows and Tenketsu blasts to shoot them from an absolutely massive distance.
Imagine shooting a hypersonic Arrow that can tear through pretty much anything... And then having it split to like 100 more arrows that are all lightning-based as well and were contained within a sealing paper that was tied around it, all to carpet bomb a single enemy squad that was planning to ambush you from 10 miles away.
Then Imagine having Hinata's massive range (16 times more than Neji's own!) and ability to see through all manner of distraction, cover, or illusion while having Dojutsu-enhanced reactions? Yeah, literally nothing can get in her way.
The Byakugan is likely also extremely useful for healing others, which is also an avenue that canon did not explore very much.
In general, I think that the Byakugan was heavily underutilized in canon and this is a great opportunity for us to do so.
Between our Taijutsu and Archery skills, as well as possible healing abilities, we will make a very unique character in ways that I don't think that the other options can quite match.
Plus, I really like the way that the traditional Hyuga robes go thematically with the bow, it reminds me of Kikyo from Inuyasha, and I think that visually this sort of theme is very appealing.

Being Hinata could be interesting, I always liked her character, and if the mc can find a way into the group with Naruto all the better! Or on the other hand...

Playing as Saske could also be super interesting, and seeing him as a life long best friend of naruto would be fun to see
I'm waffling now between Uchiha and Naruto. @Valkhir if we shifted to Uchiha, would you prefer Sasuke or one of the others? Staying Naruto for now but just curious what you were OG thinking? I do like the idea of a loyal sasuke who's not a jerk.

Also, a possible moniker/nickname for this sort of build: "The Thunder Maiden"
In terms of looks, symbolism, and combat style this is very suitable, distinctive, and informative.
It's as badass a nickname as it gets- Copycat Kakashi and Toad Sage Jiraya ain't got nothing on us.

That's ultimately a choice to be making later, but I'm just really tired of reading the same stories and doing the same quests with the Sharingan or Kurama, you know?
Plus we can be Naruto's waifu and beat up his bullies and hiss at Sasuke like a cat until he goes bothering someone else like the stupid emo he is
I...don't know if it works like that from out of the gate? Since us taking the place of a character means that the base personality and everything is completely different. And if it did mean being the waifu I'd probably be less inclined to Hyuuga.
If I vote Hyuuga, I am not doing it for that reason, but because Byakugan+Medicine+Jyuuken actually sounds pretty cool.
Jyuuken and Medical both need good control, Byakugan aids both and the precision attack style of the Jyuuken benefits from both.
Going full into just research/combat is my ideal not being the waifu. Just to state where my interests and plans lie, of course.
Edit:Speaking of Kurama. The actual Kurama Clan isn't a choice, is that for a specific reason? Their stuff actually makes Genjutsu not jobbing material outside the Uchiha.
