Naruto: The Isekai Edition

Our current stats provide us a nice buff, but I don't think I'd want to be a taijutsu expert. Definitely like more of the idea of trying to do something more on the level of Hashirama or Tobirama.

I'm wanting us to learn at least some archery.

Hm...Wonder if we could do something like get a bunch of arrows with explosive tags/seals on them, and then be able to store them into a single arrow. So we can do a rain of explosive arrows...Or just make a flashbang arrow.
Archery...in Naruto?

There's a reason we never see archery in the present time. The only examples are back in the Warring States period, and people hunting animals.

[x] Grandma Mito Uzumaki
[X] Started the Academy

Not sure how I missed this, and generally perfer non konoha OC's, but Nawaki is that loveable side character I've always wished was more than a footnote in Tsunade's tragic past, so I'm very pleased with this outcome.

Always pick the Uzumaki. If they aren't a wonderfully interesting character with lots of personality, there generally some kind of badass, tho usually they turn out to be both.

So what are people hoping to spec into?
I feel like our Senju bonus doesn't constrict us that much, Chakra, Stamina and LP are probably something you want at least something of in most builds. The only build I can think of that has very little synergy would be some kind of pure Nin/Genjutsu build that doesn't go for taijutsu at all and tries to keep away from the enemy at all times, and even there we'll have the increased chakra capacity.

One big advantage we have is that with our plethora of connections to good teachers and generally powerful persons, charisma isn't that important early on. I still want to try to become Hogake someday and like the likely narrative consequence of being a charming fellow, but if you want to minmax this could be a dumbstat.

Chakra Control is pretty much mandatory for everyone since playing without jutsu is boring , and especially for us with our increased chakra stores.

At a first glance speed seems like the most valuable option, doing pretty much the same thing strength does for some styles, adding dodge and init. on top of that. I'm assuming that there is some kind of drawback for that, otherwise there wouldn't be much reason to ever go for strength instead of speed. One possibility is that the speed based styles are lower damage / higher dc in general, in which case a Speed based build with little to no strength would pair very nicely with our increased stamina, hitting less (hard) isn't a big problem when you have enough juice in the tank to just try again.
Add some ninjustsu to the mix ( which we can also use a lot of thanks to our capacity ) and you have a build that is really annoying for the enemy to deal with.
Or just use genjutsu instead and be a real terror to anyone that doesn't have a high enough save. Fighting against someone you can't hit who will also outlast most enemies while being hit with illusions sounds really horrible.

I thought that Sasuke used a bow before the massacre? Might just have been a toy. Otherwise I think you see one or two samurai with them and the Susanoo uses one. Also one of the Sounds guys used a bow in the chunin exams, not sure what his name was. You need some explanation on why bows & arrows are useful in a world with superspeed and super strength though, which is why most bows we see are some kind of chakra construct.

SInce we are on the topic of bows, which stat gives us modifiers and techniques for tools like throwing knives, explosive tags , swords and so on?

hahaha, nope sasuke never used a bow.

in general, the bow is the worst weapon you can specify in naruto, even a common genin can throw a kunai at you or get close before you have time to shoot...
a chunin already makes it impossible for you to shoot unless you take him by surprise.

the main use of the bow is if you want to go for a stealth build and a one-shot-one kill, something that is somewhat difficult to do in naruto since the average ninja can react to surprise kunai so....

soo,a bow-centric build is unfeasible in naruto.

He does in Chapter 580, but it was for hunting a wild boar like Corvus Black said, just checked. The sound guy and Sasukes Susanoo are still a fact though, so I wouldn't rule out bows completely. Not that I would go for a bow build since they don't seem that great, but you can't deny that they were used in canon.

seriously, you are using the use of a bow for hunting as a justification for why it would be a viable main weapon in combat...besides, I think it was very much implied that we were talking about an active combat use as a main weapon.

besides the sound one you mention uses what...about 2 or 3 techniques at a time to use his bow efficiently in combat

I mean if I can think many constructions that would have made much better use of he techniques.

I just had an image of Sasuke with a bow in his hand in my mind at the time I made my post, which I why I said that it might just have been a toy. You were so sure that he never used it that I went and checked the source material on what exactly happened. Obviously Sasuke using a bow to miss a boar isn't a justification for the combat use of a bow at all, but sadly my memory isn't perfect.

I was just trying to make the point that archery exists in some limited way in the canon of Naruto, even it is mostly (maybe even wholly, I can't find the Samurai with a bow that I remember) when you don't use a real bow but a chakra construct, which I also stated in my initial post on this topic, which started because one person was interested in a build that includes some archery.
