    Inspired by the numerous self-insert stories and great fiction in the Naruto fandom, this is a quest where you, SV, are inserted into the Naruto. It will have some game elements, but I'll try to stick to a more narrative form for this quest. Later updates will grow much longer, but here in Character Generation, expect shorter and quicker updates.

    Philosophy towards the Naruto verse and this quest is more of a grounded approach. Talk no jutsu etc. can still happen, but I'd personally like to explore more of this as a ninja world with all this entails as opposed to the more shounen elements of Naruto. No Boruto as I never watched it :D.

    You died. The memories are fuzzy, something about a Tesla and a hot dog stand, but you died. Perhaps you should've felt more sadness over this event, but for now all you felt was peace as you floated through the endless void of consciousness...or whatever it is that happens after death. You existed for an eternity in this state completely at peace.

    Then pain.

    You screamed as cold air broke you from your peace. The world was full of noises and smells that assaulted your senses. You attempted to speak, but you only felt screams emit from your lungs. You struggled to stand but you only felt your legs kick in response. You were a child. A newborn in fact. You panicked. You couldn't move. What was happening? Was this reincarnation? Heaven? No. Heaven had existed before, but now you were here. Alive once again. Who were you? Where were you? Why could you remember? Did all babes remember before losing such memories to time?

    The panic threatened to overwhelm you, but you felt warmth nearby. A calming voice spoke, "Peace, my child. Mommy's here."

    You felt calm overtake you and for the first time, you felt the strength to open your eyes. You saw,

    I'd rather not. There are other characters who could have a story, and I'm kind of not interested in the Konoha 12 from fanfic oversaturation. There's always Zabusa, Kurenai could be fun. Who else? Tsunade SI?

    You stare at the woman in something akin to confusion. She seems familiar as if something niggling in the back of your mind is trying to tell you something. Nonetheless, you feel your panic begin to abate as she coos gently at you. You can see the love in her eyes and the affection in her touch. You feel a measure of affection bloom in your heart towards her. Though you had a life before, your body was that of a babe and you instinctively sought out the warmth provided by the woman's body.

    "Beloved?"

    You turned your wide eyes to the voice of one who had approached and felt the panic begin to overtake you once more. Oh the man was dressed in odd clothing compared to the world you had just come from, but it was the headband upon his forehead that drew your gaze. You latched tightly onto the woman who held you as your eyes focused intently on the headband that bore the emblem of:
