I don't think that freezing touch is a good idea, given that the enemy could kill or seriously injure us with an absent-minded swat, lol. Since time is not on our side in this fight, the "stall some more" option is out, too. That leaves the cheeky "steal sword" thing and lightning.

If you're using genjutsu, you might want to try throwing down smoke bombs to block line of sight between Ishako and Kai to see if that stops Ishako from almost certainly being the one who broke him out before. They fight regularly as a pair, she would HAVE to cover his 1 in genjutsu and 2 in intelligence.
I'm not sure how useful Stains of Time is here. It's best use is to create an opening, and we already have that. Is the idea to use it to both steal the sword and hit him with a ninjutsu?

You were about to follow up on Kaitaikojo as he was distracted, but something to the side caught you eye. It was Ishako, whose body looked rather tense. Suddenly in clicked in your mind, of course Kaitaikojo managed to break out of your genjutsu before, his sister was helping him! Gritting you teeth, you reached into your clothes and threw down some smoke bombs, creating a hazy mist around you and Kaitaikojo! From there, you made hand seals and loudly clapped your hands so Ishako could hear it, layering Stains of Time and Fierce Echo together on both siblings!
Kaitaikojo blindly began to swing behind himself. You were starting to feel the strain of chakra loss as you rushed out of the smoke towards Ishako. She was busy dealing with your genjutsu as you chained more seals together, making eye contact with her to layer Demonic Illusion: Stabbing Pain on her eyes and Limb Switch! Ishako clutched her eyes and shrieked as loud as she could, stumbling onto the ground. Behind you, you felt Kaitaikojo's killing intent spike, feeling like a icy lance to the chest.
You opened the Second Gate, feeling rather refreshed as a large surge of chakra flowed through body and ignored Kaitaikojo, who was chasing after you now! You reared back your fist for the biggest punch you ever gave and drilled Ishako right on the cheek, making her spit out blood as she was sent skidding across the grassy floor!
You panted heavily as Ishako lay out on the ground but you absolutely had no time to get your bearings as Kaitaikojo tried lunging at you, his killing intent being the only reason you could predict and dodge the attack. You backed away as Kaitaikojo moved forward towards his sister, kneeling at her unconscious form. Kaitaikojo gently touched her face before getting to his feet and looking at you, his eyes were as narrow as pinpricks and veins bulged and throbbed visibly on his forehead, snaking down into his face and neck.
"Punch the crazy guy's sister, that'll help..." you thought as Kaitaikojo hunched forwards and let out high pitched, guttural, and primal scream of pure fury. He began to madly run at you, never taking his eyes off yours as the ground quaked under his feet.

Limb Switch:
A sight genjutsu that forces the opponent to think their limbs have switched around. Their hands are on their feet and vice versa, bringing them a large amount of confusion and shock. With more chakra applied, the user can specifically switch larger body parts, such as arms and legs for an even greater effect.
Chakra Use: Medium.
This is the hardest possible counter to Kai, who has low intelligence (can't figure out switched senses quickly), low genjutsu (can't break), AND makes causing yourself pain require an intelligence check.

There's also a chance Ishako is faking, so we should probably immediately make sure she's not faking after Kai is subdued. Not putting that in vote because Kai might, somehow, someway, not be subdued.
