Being made out of metal works for Tetesutetesu or whoever from 1B and Pin also has functional immortality in that even if he's destroyed Geppetto can just make him a new body.
And yeah:
I'm not sure it can be called immortality. It's just that he dies when we die. More of an extension of ourselves. The vessel isn't what matters, but the source. And good point with Quadruple T, though he seems to be able to get stronger by putting in more ion in his diet, which I would think subsequently makes him harder.

if someone gets to Geppetto we probably lose (although Pin would still be able to function autonomously as long as Gep isn't dead).
That's what I mean. And can Pin…talk? I don't think so, considering that he wouldn't have a mouth or vocal chords to do so. A "silent giant" could create a bit of a challenge if trying to find information or some such.

I like Gacha! because it eventually allows for a variety effects, but the most important thing at the start is knowing your limits (Like when the 777 bonus expires and you have to filll the coin to reach the threshold). It's mildly strong, but extending the battle puts you at risk.
Which is most quirks, since Momo's is dependent on what she ate. No material, no quirk.

huh, I've seen stories crossposted on SB and SV before but never one where different votes can win. this seems like it could end up being a lot of work. I'll keep an eye on this version but I probably wont be as active here as I've been on the sb one.
Oh, I don't think it's multiple. Just us trying to decide which one to take.

Honestly I think this used to be more common, ROYL (RWBY OC Quest) ROYL (RWBY OC Quest) is the quest that comes to mind.
Better to think of them as seperate quests with the same premise.

@Blackangel Are you running this in parallel with the SB one? Looks like it could be a weird social experiment and a return to the old style of parallel quests (though I don't think I've ever seen one be properly finished before).

Let me propose (inspired by Kite from HXH)

Crazy Box
Allows him to conjure a box of weapons with a ? affixed to it. A roulette appears on the box's face with numbers 1 to 4, each corresponding to a specific weapon. Whatever number randomly appears, the weapon that corresponds to that number is conjured, which means that the user cannot choose what weapon to summon.

[Proposal for Weapon Forms and their minor effects (minor effects are intentionally weak to allow for growth, change or addition)]
01 Staff - Ability to manipulate the weight of the weapon
02 Chain - Ability to freeze the chain in place.
03 Mace - Ability to be conjured back to hand after it is thrown
04 Hammer - Ability to impart a push that is disproportionate to the force of the hammer's strike.

Hmm, sounds interesting... How about to cosplay Scion quirk-wise? Always wanted to try this.

[X] Plan: Loving Gold
-[X][Quirk] Golden Light:
You able to produce light of gold color in different ways, which affects energy of objects it contact with. However, prolonged continuous emission of light gradialy sharpens your perception of energy waves, which causes a growing headache, up to a sensory overload, loss of consciousness and seizure. Secondly, each new exotic effect around can cause an unpleasant sensation of noise in your perception of energy waves until you get used to it. This can be annoying and distracting, especially when you see some new quirks at use.
Main power:
Kinetic Stilling: Your golden light dissipates and redistributes energy between a huge variety of physical fields, which causes the object to slow down or even stop completely. Loss of speed is relative to yourself, you are the reference point - so sometimes it can give velocity from other points of view. Like, trying stilling someone on the platform while you are in a moving train will increase their speed.
Reference Shift: Your golden light does not allow the energy waves of the object to influence the world. An object shrouded in golden light instantly stops, fixes itself and follows the beam. An object in this state is weightless, does not cause damage to itself or the environment when moving, does not transmit heat/radiation/sound/matter above a certain threshold. When the action of light is interrupted, the object begins to move again, following the initial vector of its velocity. You can stop an object moving towards you in front, then move it by turning yourself 180 degrees and letting it go - it will continue to move in the same direction, that is, now away from you.
Minor effects/powers:
Physical Fields Perception:
The whole world appears to you in the form of multi-colored, entangled and oscillating membrane-waves, which are vibrations of the energy of physical fields around. This feeling is always somewhere in the far edge of perception and you can exacerbate it, but it is dangerous for your health and psyche. Exotic effects (like using some quirks) creates an unfamiliar or strong noise that you are not yet used to controlling and tucking away into the back of your mind, which can be bad. Active use of the Golden Light also breaks concentration and gradually increases the perception of physical fields.
Active Defence: Your Quirk sometimes can automatically activate to emit Golden Light as a defensive reaction to a potential threat. However, it relies on your unconscious, it's not very smart and sometimes creates energy effects you are not familiar with. It causes a lot of problems, especially when you already stressed out.
-[X][Name] Jin Ai
-[X][Gender] Woman

P.S. Let's hope it's not too strong. I tried to balance things with flaws, but still leave room for growth. In my mind, she from the family whose powers have a gold color and energy interactions as a theme. Her father is able to touch some object and it starts emit faint golden glow, which fixes an object in relation to the Earth. And while the effect of golden light is preserved on the object - it is immobile and indestructible, if we using brute force. However, he can still move it by keep touching thing.

Mother can perceive energy changes in objects around. She can tune into certain energy waves, filter out various energies. For example, she is able to see how thermal energy is distributed over an object, how voltage changes in wires, or even see which parts of a person's brain are activated. Although the finer the setting, the closer she needs to be and the more difficult it is to maintain focus. It is very helpful in her work. She is a leading specialist in the field of particle physics.

I'm going to be honest. I've been wondering why the quests that are cross posted are just copy pasted. I know it's a lot of work to do but it just don't sit right with me.

Also at this point I'm giving up on arguing against luck based quirks so go wild.

Thank you for the plan! Also it's probably not to strong. This seems like a high potential, high skill curve, and not much instant "Powa". So good dam job.

Also does the seizure thing affect others or ourselves? It's a good thing to note.

It only affects MC. Because her power give ability to perceive and manipulate energy of different physical fields. However, this type of perception creates too much load if not properly filtered. She usually doesn't have a problem with this because there are often very mundane physical interactions going on around her: heat transfer, electromagnetic wave travel, kinetic energy, and so on. But if a quirk suddenly appears with a very unusual, unfamiliar effect, then the new interaction is more difficult to filter. She needs to get used to it. For example, if someone makes things weightless by influencing gravity in some way, then she will feel this and may be distracted for a moment to adjust the filter. Howerver, if she sees this effect on an ongoing basis, then she will get used to.

Her power is very dependent on skills that pretty much no one can teach. Well, maybe except for the mother, who is able to suggest something. She manipulates kinetic energy precisely because of this limitation. It is necessary to carefully remove filters and experiment, learn to recognize different interactions of physical fields, develop intuition and reflexes, which is difficult and can even be dangerous. The first time activating her quirk was a very unpleasant experience, had to stay in the hospital for a long time, go to specialists, put on restraints and learn to control the power. Good thing her family is very rich.

At least this how I see it.

what I meant was the space battles version of the quest is already past this vote, it's character got decided but it seems like this version of the quest will straight up have a different main character.
I see. Interesting. It'd sure be quite the thing if the characters were to meet.

edit: also I just want to add Geppetto is cool as hell.
*shrug* It doesn't diminish the uselessness and potential for growth that Gacha has. (Whoops fell asleep.)

Love the Kite reference. I was actually imitating Crazy Slots a bit with that, when I made Gacha. Randomized power, all of them useful, but not all of them equal. You feel me?

Good morning, Andre Chaos!

Luck lives matter, amigo. Anyway, more importantly what country are we in?

On mine, they are randomized and "equal" but all of them are situational. I was actually gonna put more to the pool, but instead of the original 9 Kite had, I thought it would be more interesting if we have a smaller pool that gets added on if need be (and qm allows).

I'll let it happen through training. I don't want a big pool at the start, but a slow improvement of options and strengthening of the original 4 sounds good.

Are you eating into my mind right now? That's precisely what I was thinking (besides the equal chance). Start off with really 1 option, and we acquire more through combat experience and engaging in various gambling games or whatever. We'd slowly gain a variety, and the potency of the effects would become stronger as well.

Well the post says Japan. I'm still picking where however… oh I could just let y'all decide a major city. Legitimately if you guys have any suggestions for school placement go ahead.
LAAAAAS VEGAAAAAAS!
Or somewhere with high crime-rate, like Chicago, New York City, Austin?

Good for you, TimEd.

So. No improvement/change suggestions for Crazy Box? Will I make the Plan now? Also I suck at names.

I think it's a pretty name for plan... Also, I have a question. What would happen, if weapon broken or stolen?

The weapons aren't "actual" items. More like 'projections with a weapon theme'. Treat them as energy constructs fueled by some sort of timer. What timer it is depends on what would fit best, maybe even flavored with whatever interesting thing someone else can think of (like calories, hype, an actual random timer, etc etc).

We already have many examples of quirks that can create stuff from basically nothing, but they tend to be consumables. Momo and her creations are the closest to the idea I was going for, but without the issue her creations being actual things leave in the world.

[X] Plan: 2 in 1
-[X][Quirk] Geppetto
Main Power
No Strings
: Sentient Quirk that posses objects the user crafted or assembled
Minor effect
Two Souls one Body: when no objects are being possess or when the vessel is destroyed the Quirk will retreat into the user's mind
Not meant to be One: the user and the quirk will build up mental stress when the quirk isn't inhabiting a vessel which they describe as being lock in a small trunk
Craftman: as a side effect of the requirement of the quirk the user became profecient in crafting bodies for the quirk

-[X][Gender] Male and Gender Fluid

Ok. Also, should they roll die again or maybe they can still use same tool after it broken?

Depends on what the timer that gets decided on is. But my first thought is that if any weapon breaks, you need to reroll for a new weapon (so whatever cost needs to be paid again).
I was thinking about power exactly like this one some time ago. It was neat. How about some tools proposition?

Knife - cuts only organics, and go through other materials like a ghost.
Mirror - acts like a shield. Mirror surface creates an equal and opposite force in response to an attack.
Brass Knuckles - first strike on the material tunes the weapon to it. Each successive impact on the tuned material causes resonating destructive vibrations within the material.
Spoon - can scoop up anything without damaging the material. Separated parts are still connected to each other and can be easily put back into place.
Sack - resizable and stretches very well. Thing is indestructible by normal methods if the force is directed from within the Sack.
Wristwatch - freezes the wearer in time until they are removed or destroyed. Doesn't work on quirk user themself.
Camera - Has a 50/50 percent chance of creating a photo from the future or past of the target location. Time difference is random.
Fountain Pen - whoever reads what is written with this pen will believe in the content of what is written, until take eyes off for enough time and think about text for a little.
Cup - big and bottomless. Things that fall inside will simply fall down until the end of time or until the next die roll. In the second case, items will disappear without a trace.
Scourge - the wounds inflicted by this instrument can cause terrible pain or not be felt at all.

P.S. This thread gave me burst of inspiration on the theme of superpowers.

Knife is good, it's got good growth potential which was my aim for all the "starter" weapons. My next few ideas was a Shield, a more focused ranged option like a bow or gun of some sort, Gloves (rocket punch/grab), maybe shoes or something for mobility, and one esoteric one, like paper/s or whatever.

Anyway, I need help on the making of this into a plan. I'm about to sleep and will likely be fairly busy the next day. Whoever makes one, feel free to immediately post it if you want and I'll just vote for it. I only really care about the quirk, the other character details are whatever to me.
