[x] The local refugee camps are running low on medicine. Your help is needed.

[x] The collectors have shown their faces again. You'll be cutting down on their numbers.

Because fuck the collectors and their Reaper overlords.

[x] Collectors

You turn to Moka as the two of you look at one of the reports from the resistance's scouts.

"Well," you begin, "This isn't good at all."

She nods, "The Collectors seem to be a dangerous adversary for our human allies."

"Especially with those seeker swarms," you say shuttering, "I can't stand the thought of being helpless, once was enough for me."

"Yeah," she agrees, "Especially not when the Collectors themselves try to take you because of it."

You hiss at the thought, "As if we needed any more problems now. If only the stupid things had stayed dead when Shepard blew up that base."

"I know," Moka says looking slightly annoyed, "It's almost impossible to expect your enemies to stay dead these days."

"Well, the minor ones are easy to keep down," you say, "It's the important guys that just seem to refuse to die."

The irony of a Vampire and a Hydra complaining about enemies being hard to kill is thankfully not pointed out throughout the rest of your conversation.

You swat a Collector aside as several seeker bugs attempt to latch onto you.

They succeed, but are easily shaken off.

Is very fortunate that youkai are immune to that stupid paralyzing attack the bugs use, or these things would be an actual threat.

That doesn't make them any more pleasant to deal with though.

"Ugh, I hate this things," you say spiting on a seeker bug causing it to fizzle out before exploding.

"They are a nuisance," Moka comments as she turns a Scion to mush with a good kick, "But not that much of one."

You snort as you toss another Scion to the side, "Says the girl who can just repel them with her intense aura. I get stuck with the stupid things latching onto me."

She just shrugs as she kills a possessed Collector with a good roundhouse kick. "We all have our natural advantages. I for one wish I could get away with eating half the stuff you do."

"Eh fine," you relent to her point as an Abomination blows up in your face, "Being able to eat whatever I want without worrying about the consequences is a pretty nice ability."

"Exactly," Moka says as several Collectors surround the two of you, "And being completely immune to all poisons is a nice little benefit too. Once I get hit with a nasty potion that took me years to recover from, not fun."

"Also true," you say, "So, you hear about the whole incident with the Reaper that got turned into a giant pancake?"

Moka nods. "Yep, must have been really funny!" she says.

"It was," you answer as the Collectors surround you, "I'll tell you about it when we get back to base."

One curbstomping later and the two of you head back to the base.

Still you have more pressing matters to attend to, and this next mission is going to be much harder than your last two.

What is it?
[x] Helping out some Witch's and Enchanters back in the USA, they've got something big planned.
[x] Sneaking into an old facility, something's up in there, and you're gonna find out what.
[x] Working with a Knightly order to help repel and attack one of the Reapers' major holdouts.
[x] Something involving a bunch of Krogan who have been setting up a resistance movement in South America.

Another codex entry.
Codex Vampires
A youkai species with an appearance very similar to human's, Vampires are considered to be the 'Iconic' S class with human space, being both the most common and the most physically powerful pound for pound. As with all S class monster Vampires posses a variety of powerful ability including super strength, shape-shifting, and succubus like charm, although this comes with weakness to match like vulnerability to water and holy symbols. Vampires are also known for their arrogance, which is exceptional even amongst the generally prideful S class monsters, and puts them at odds with werewolves, who see Vampires as their natural enemies, a feeling that is more than mutual. However aside from the Werewolf rivalry Vampire relations are almost entirely dependent on the faction of Vampires in question. Little else can be said about Vampires as a whole, as the species is widely considered to be the single most divided S class known to youkai kind with many different ideologies being accepted by separate Vampire groups.

Witches/Enchanters tied with Facility.

C'mon, let's see some Enchanter creations and Witch spells in action!

If we're lucky we might even meet up with Yukari there to fight the Reapers.

[x] You Startled the Witch!

The next mission you go on is in the good old United States of America. It's be nice to be back home in the States again. Well okay, you were stateside when visited your family, but it wasn't for that long.

You know things will be different, very different. Especially with all the time that's passed and the Reaper invasion, but some part of you is still excited to see your old home.

Moka notices you tensing up as the two of you get ready for the teleportation spell.

"You nervous?" She asks.

You nod, "Nervous, yet excited at the same time."

"I can see that," she says before pausing for a moment, "Megara, I can't say I know what you're going through due to your great sleep. Just know, if you need me I'm here for you."

"I know," you say smiling, "You've been there for me since our first years at high school together. Thank you, for all that you've done."

"Hey," she replies giving you a light nudge, "I should be saying that to you. You're as loyal a friend anyone could hope to for."

"Thanks Moka," you give her a hug as you reply, "Come on, it's time for us to go."

And so the two of you activate the spell, teleporting to your next destination.

When the two of you arrive you are greeted by a happy Yukari. She gives you one of the tightest hugs you've felt in a while.

"Oh Megara! I'm so happy to see you again!" She shouts happily before a sorrowful look comes over her, "If only it was under better circumstances."

You pat her on the head, "I feel the same way. What do you say we gather as many of the old group we can and all head out together after this?"

She lets go of you and gives you a huge grin.

"I'd love it!" She replies, practically ecstatic at the idea. "Come on I'll show you around."

The base is a pretty darn interesting thing all told.

Definitely better than anything you've seen in your time. You are seriously impressed, and that's even when you account for the massive differences from the technology of your time and the present.

It's not just good from a normal perspective either. From a magical point of view this place is superbly made. Just goes to show you what Witches and Enchanters can make when they get along. The only place you remember that was this good was the Hydra capital, and Hydra blood is a powerful magical ingredient so that's kind of cheating.

The Golems they're working on are pretty potent too. You actually wonder if you could take these things on, and considering that you're an S class that's saying something.

The medical bay could use some work, but under these conditions you can't blame them.

Security is great too, although it they do occasionally have to repel Husk attacks. The ritual used to defend this place might stop orbital bombardment, but Husks can attack just fine.

The room for item crafting is another good feature. Yukari mentions that it's where her boyfriend works, and that he's out for the moment.

Well anyway a big Reaper assault is coming up. They need your help for when it comes.

What do you do?
[x] Help with the Golems. They'll need to get up and running ASAP. Hydra blood will help make that happen.
[x] Go to the medical bay. People are dying over there; you can save them.
[x] Guard the entrance in Hydra form. That'll slow down those stupid Husks.
[x] Help out in the workshop. As with the Golems, your blood should be very helpful here.
