MEDIC! - Trauma-Team Quest: A Cyberpunk 2020 MedTech Adventure

We could start being Trauma Team's go to clinic for patients that need more than just an ambulance if hospitals are unavailable or too far away. Would certainly fit the reconnection with the company.

wonder if we can start expanding upwards. Try and use the good press and local support this is sure to garner plus maybe some string pulls with former contacts and locals for a small discount to actually get two floors and the basement dedicated to medical needs and a third for our office and storage.

Also is there a funds or something that we should keep track of cause im still unsure about that given it was mentioned as something we would have more of due to certain character creation choices.

Also as far as compensation goes i could all clinics having their used medicines, bandages, etc covered on cost with a small monetary reward for every person brought in and a discount AND tax break for mass cass situations. or else most clinics would probably just 'lose' most of their patients and harvest Organs, Chrome, eddies, etc and take as many TT response units as possible due to them ASSUREDLY having to shell out to clinics for them saving THEIR patients, or else clinics would just not simple as that.

There's a Clinic Information threadmark over here.

Clinic Name: Five Crosses Clinic

Current Staff:
Dr. Jeanne, Chief Medical Officer
Ms. Widget, Chief Technical Officer
Ms. Candy, Head Nurse (also the only nurse)

Current Clinic Funds: €$30,000

But yeah, this is Night City. I'm sure that legally, clinics are entitled to some compensation when conscripted to help out during mass casualty crises, but like the GM said, actually getting it is another matter entirely.

Well at least our stock of cyber ware should be full after this, got to clean it up but…..yay?

Less than you might think. In at least one case of from the attack, it was mentioned that their augs were burning out.
Those burns look like what happens when a netrunner decides to cook your ware good and toasty. Was there a net component to the bombing too?
Also we aren't a back-alley ripper-doc meaning that we can't just carve up random corpses for their cyberwear (at least openly).

If nothing else, the fact we actually have a medical license should make it easier to convince the city to pay up.

Easier, not easy.

[X] A brief interview with Action City News, who are now very interested in your background.
[X] Time to talk to Car No. 39's head doctor, rebuild some old bridges. Like what's the deal with Lance these days

Look, in the usual paperwork new victims patients fill out, there has to be a "If you flatline on the table, your chrome will be removed to pay for disposal costs" section.

And hey, it might also be a perk.

[X] A nap. Sweet Lord above do you need some rest. And a trip to Little China's food court.

Just to be clear folks, the vote has been called - I've just got exams soon so I've not had as much time to write as I'd like. I'm making an effort today soon!

Considering our empathy score:
10 Empathy - They're a bleeding heart, and try to find common ground with nearly anyone. Still in possession of their morals.
I doubt part of our policy is to screw people over/rob the dead.

Heck, considering that we run a clinic I doubt our main trade will be in combat aug as opposed to you know; putting people back together etc. Sure we can most likely install, uninstall and mod augs but most likely the only types we'd sell are basic civvie-grade replacements. Anything fancier, the client has to bring to us etc.

We are more likely to be called upon to fix someone who got a hackjob installation or something.

I'm pretty sure the reason we run our own clinic is so we can deny care to people we don't feel deserve it. Like, ya know, the rich shitboots that made us leave TT in the first place.

The canon reason is inverse - so you wouldn't be forced to deny care to those who couldn't get it simply because someone else had a contract with TT.

Too bad this isn't the 70s era of Night City. I could see Jeanne going on an extended rant about the the (most likely)dangerous and ham-handed installation of the Sandevistan by 'Doc' if she ever got a chance to give David's chrome a once-over.

In comparison to that guy, Viktor is the soul of professionalism and proper medical procedure.

Like how the man didn't bother to clean the blood before letting David put his jacket on, staining it with blood and likely causing it to stick to the healing wound.

Along with no anesthesia (just a bar to bite down on), no meds to help integrate the Sandy, or even things David should and shouldn't do in the aftermath. That guy is the sort of Ripper that works for Maelstrom.

I mean, just installing the Sandevistan into an ordinary kid is by itself already a thing no self-respecting doc would do, considering what it tends to do with people. The ripperdoc from the Edgerunners obviously only did the operation as a way to get it from David without paying.

Well, we technically can do it, IIRC In Night City it is perfectly legal to carve up a corpse for cyberware as long as you are not the one that killed the poor bastard.

Well, while it is true that we would make EVERYTHING we could to save a life and we would not screw any of our patients over cyberware, I don´t think that we would have that much moral problems with taking cyberware from a dead body because the dead doesn´t need it and doctors tend to be practical...
Especially when selling that cyberware can get the money for things that we desperately need like medical supplies, beds, an ambulance, or hiring extra hands...
