Mass Effect: Glorious Shotgun Princess (ME/Exalted)

Not eat...just kill.
Yup. Garrus needs not eat or hunt creatures to take their forms. He needs merely kill them. This is all explained in the Terrifying Argent Witches writeup.
The Nomad said:
Not actually take the form of, but rather merge with.

Makes you wonder if Garrus will attempt to develop a custom Knack to merge with Reapers in a couple of centuries. A form form of shipbody-horror that is a fitting fate for those fuckers.
I also wonder if Reapers would count as Primordial behemoths or demons for the purpose of shape acquisition.

Failing that, the swarm Knacks might be useful if he can sample those Collector drones - they are biotech, right? And quite formidable.

Well, Morinth is well and truly fucked (and not in a good way). A Solar and Lunar, possibly soulmates on several levels, fighting together...
Though I wonder why Garrus didn't simply headshot the slatternly vixen. Maybe the shields are instinctively stronger near the vital spots like the brain?
None of this will happen, as Garrus has no Knacks and will never have any Knacks. He's using a completely revamped homebrew of Lunars called Terrifying Argent Witches. Any effect like that would be achieved with charms.

Oh, simple. Biotics are mainly activated by hand motions, albeit as an instinctive reflex rather than necessity. Morinth prides herself on being the future of the asari race, and even more apparently is a hideously powerful Biotic.

She kills people with Biotics.

Now she has to do it left handed.

The asari goes flying. She gracefully twists, spins, and lands on her feet. The form of the Maw shimmers, shrinks, and becomes Garrus again, who rushes over to her. And there is a flash. Time slows for her, the run turning into stop motion. And there is a golden light behind Jane's eyes as the word echoes in her mind, over and over again until it a drum beat of pounding recollection.

Lunar

"-like a brother to me."

She stares at her face in the mirror, a face her own. A finger traces on full, lush cheeks and ruby lips. She is a thousand years old and and has not aged a day. Turning, she smiles to her husband, and the man next to him-

"-has no idea how lucky he is."

The ocean spray fills her lungs but she can't stop laughing, holding onto the black fin with both hands as the pirate fleet smashes to bits of wood and metal around them. A final dive into the ocean as she holds her breath, and there is a leap. The form of the great beast changes in mid jump, turning back into a man as he catches her in flight.

Her arms wrap around his shoulders as they touch down. They are kissing before his feet touch the floor.

"-I know, I felt him die. You did all you could. I'm leaving it to you. Build something better from it. Live."

She turns the key as the door breaks down. Turns, facing the executioners, the soldiers they once trusted. They intend to kill her, to seize this city. But she will have none of that. She smiles, folding her hands behind her, and savors the looks on their faces as the city rocks with explosions.

And the water rushes in, and she takes her last breath, and-

Jane's eyes snap open. Garrus grabs her wrist as she almost tumbles off the roof. "You okay?" he asks.

She nods. "Fine. Where'd Morinth go?"

No, Leviathan's not dead (hint)

Shepard has Queen Amaya's exaltation.
*RADIATION ALARM*

WARNING: This sector has been designated by the Bureau of Destiny (Serenity Division), as the Fated Site of ROMANTIC RIVALRY BETWEEN EXALTED.

Please remain calm and evacuate the local dimension until further notice.

Actually, Leviathan's Solar Mate was Amaya's husband. They were bros. And she was fooling around with Leviathan behind his back.

Which lead to the great tragedy of the Usurpation, with Leviathan racing to save one or the other, either his bro or his lover, and failing to save both.

Hence, we now have Sadwhale.

The turian removes the helmet as Shepard watches Morinth fly through the hole in the wall. As the black faceplate hits the ground, her eyes go wide. The plates around her head shift and retract, retreating into the collar, and she locks eyes with the blue irises of her sudden companion. "Garrus?"

Garrus Vakarian grins, cracking his knuckles and rolling his neck. "Good to see you too, Shepard." His mandibles twitch, as the wall cracks and pulverizes, clouds of torn apart metal and cement rising into the air. "Goto mentioned that we're probably similar about now, except our powers come from different sources. I'll explain later."

The walls give way. Surrounded by a nimbus of blue light, Morinth rises into the air. Abandoned skycars, chunks of wall, panes of glass orbit her. "So," Jane says, "That's a problem."

Garrus grins. His mandibles twitch. "Not a big one, really. It's amazing what they keep on Omega. Did you know that in Upstation Sector, this guy had a Maw?"

There is a shriek. Bursting from the roof of the hotel, a Thresher Maw screams as it flies through the air, slamming into Morinth's shields as her eyes go wide and she yelps, holding back the tentacled beast with the sum total of her power.

Maws are wild beasts. Berserk worms which feed on pray in an orgy of violence. So it is natural that Morinth didn't understand why the beast held still while Shepard ran up its back and punched her in the face.
well, i guess it is a giant asteroid, so a Threasher Maw can hide there, somehow....

So Garrus is the Lunar mate for Shepard? What type of intimancy?

Matsci said:
TAW lunars, which Gregg is using, don't form Lunar Bonds like traditional lunars. They use a charm to reinforce an existing Intimacy.
And have epic amounts of intimacy based hax anyway. TAW lunars have nearly as many ways to fuck with their enemies using intimacies as freaking Kimbery, and generally as many ways to buff their allies or themselves. To give something of an idea, a bunch of their charms work better on targets with intimacies towards you. Many of their attack charms count as a scene of building an intimacy of terror for all enemies who see them used.

Wrex: "So, Garrus... you say you ate Kalros?"

Garru: "A-yep."

Wrex: "Yeah right... what was it like?"

Garrus, grinning in a way turians aren't physically capable of: "She seemed to enjoy it."

One could almost hear Wrex's mind crash and grind to a halt.

So, Garrus got the charm to acquire forms through sex?

Just to point out:

Shepard has a specialty.

Ride: Garrus
Well, of course!

Joker already handles the Normandy, so Shepard can focus on her surface vehicle, and what better surface vehicle than a shapeshifting superweapon?

Well, he's Turian. Turians have a different definition of heroic than humans.

So he's Bat-turian-Punisher.

BTW, food poisoning. Slow updating between vomit fits.

Sorry to hear that Gregg, get well soon. We all can wait for you to get back to writing AFTER you're good and hale.

I have to say, going back over the sections with Wrex and the Sage, I am curious. Wrex being a god-blooded, dragon-blooded, beast-man, whatever he turns out to be, won't he be fairly weak compared to Shep and Garrus? I mean, yes, its Wrex, hes The Goddamn Krogan, but Shep and Garrus are the top tier Exalts. Wrex breaks buildings, Shepard breaks mountians, ya know?
Even Solars don't get to wreck large swathes of geography when they first start out. It takes a lot of time and experience before they learn to do things like that.
