We need to insert an obvious but obscure reference in each of these just to see if he gets it, as a member of a nerdy forum. Also, we can pretend to be God or whatever, giving him missions to do or people to save.

Right then. I'll be leaving for college orientation for the next few days, and won't be back until the 23rd. Just wanted to pop in and let you guys know. The 23rd will be when I lock the vote.
 
And while your gone I will probably get a discussion started about what we should start training ASAP such as Fitness, Close combat skills, mid-ranged combat skills, long range combat skills, stealth, survival and some generalised science and maths training wouldn't be that bad for us to get down early.

What do you guys think?

That's partially reliant on which world we go to. Fallout has different long range options as compared to Skyrim for example. Long range is also much more necessary in Fallout.

I think Fitness is definitely one thing we should start off right away since it is widely applicable. Survival skills are also decently widely applicable and would be useful in Fallout and Skyrim. Stealth again is generally applicable. If we head to Skyrim, picking up healing magic would definitely be useful and in Fallout we should definitely start learning how to use a gun. I think Awareness/Perception would be useful for avoiding ambushes and such.
 
Depends on the build and place we go. Some places is better to go straight muderhobo, while other going uplift genius is better.

Both Fallout and Skyrim would be good for things like crafting new things and maintaining old things and biology/anatomy would be good because it would allow use to not only treat wounds better because we would know where healing would need to be applied but also where enemies weak points are so they could be killed easier.

Oh, guys! I just had an idea for a great setting we could go to or start in!



Either the movies or the books work. It's got lots of stuff for us to kill, neat people to work with and a world to save. What do you think?

Ugh, fine changed my MCU vote to the IM1 start. You guys realize that there's 2 years between that and IM2 right? And then another 2 year after that until things actually start happening with the avengers?

Still beats Skyrim though. He already ran a quest with that as the setting, and the setting was incredibly dull in it.
 
If we want it to be quicker, could we ask the QM to apply the canon timeline? Fury's Big Week (Thor, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk) happens 7 months after the end of the first Iron Man. Captain America Unfreezing happens 10 months later. And Loki attacks two weeks after that.

We could use the 7 months break to obtain and train our Powers, and the 10 months break stopping Aldrich Killian/A.I.M. and preventing those bombings.

Edit: But we'd need the Forum Connection Power to know any of this IC.
