Magic Knight Quest (Surprise, you are a Harem Hero now, SV)

...not Metagame stuff? Have you uh... seen the canon based quests PrinceArjuna?
It's not... impossible, but people here do seem to really enjoy their Meta Plans sometimes.

Anyway my choice is of course, like any TRUE SV'er, that of whichever gets us the most Dakka/best Stats. I mean c'mon we all know morality meters only matter in so much as they relate to the stats/loot/fun gameplay/which endings we get.

:p
As a magic KNIGHT, The Morality meter probably has a large impact on the Loot and such we get.

To be honest, I'm actually a bit fine with the whole Celica sacrificing us thing. To me if he genuinely has looked through all the information/possible outcomes and he really can save the entire world for one life... It would be pretty hard for me to blame him, hell even if I were the one being sacrificed, I'd probably say, "This sucks...but...yeah... I guess."

For me, I sort of dislike Celica not because I have any problems with his plan (we don't really have enough information to make a judgment call at this moment) but actually because:
1. I think it rather annoying that despite being the student of our sister (who mentored him/was his lover), he apparently never reached out to Kazuto until now. I mean that was several years of being completely alone for Kazuto and you would have expected (even if our sister was not his lover) a student (at least by the East Asian Confucian framework) would have felt some responsibility and tried to find whether the remaining family members of his teacher that just died were okay and taken cared of.
-Unless of course @PrinceArjuna gives us new information like Kazuto's sister coincidentally had a rather large life insurance policy and received Christmas presents from Santa every year, Celica's lack of concern for his waifu's last sibling is a bit cold to say the least. :eyebrow:

IC of course, I think Kazuto (a generous and kind soul who doesn't expect help from others) probably just feels bad for him as someone whose given up on the future. :V

You know, I have to disagree with this knee jerk reaction against the Greater good. To be perfectly honest if I was in the situation where my sacrifice was needed to save the world I would say even if I had been kept in the dark;

"Sure, could had told me about this earlier but I understand you wanted to keep it secret since most people are too short sided to care about the good of the many over their own personal self interest. So what do I need to do to properly sacrifice myself?"

I would also be fully willing to sacrifice another person in order to save many more. I have never gotten the problem people have with Kiritsugu Emiya and his mentality about the needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few, I find that mentality fully understandable and heroic. So to be perfectly honest I genuinely like Cecilia and I find what he's doing heroic and I find the reaction to him really, really annoying.

So @PrinceArjuna I have to say every interlude has made me more in favor of the guy. So you have at least one guy on your side in not having a kneejerk reaction about it.

Wow, so many selfless souls on this thread.... no seriously good for you guys. I'm quite a selfish cunt so my first instinct is to look out for my own.

And Harem stealing? Eh, can you truly say they were ours to begin with? Honestly, some conflict between the heroines based upon who they support more would be fun to watch.

Deuteragonists make everything far more interesting.

He spent all those two years BSODing and advancing his rank. He's not the one to drown his sorrow, so he overworked himself instead. So, added with his BSOD and workaholic tendency, he's got no time dealing with his girlfriend's little brother.

Lucky for him, when we were alone after our sister's death, we found strength and grew into a kind and grateful person, not an angsty edgelord that hates everything.
...Right guys?

3.8 Heavy Problem
[X] My name is Hongo Kazuto. I am of the Bushido class, and of course you noticed that my element is Dark.
-[X] Compliment her giant sword of awesome.

---

From what you can see, Minene doesn't seem to be bothered by the fact that you are a dark user. It won't hurt to act civil to her, at the very least. And she seems friendly too.

Smiling, you introduce yourself, "My name is Hongo Kazuto. I am of the Bushido class," then, you show her your black Stigmata on the back of your right hand. "And of course you noticed that my element is Dark."

"Of course I noticed that!" Minene nods vigorously. "It's nice to meet you, Kazuto!"

Then, you look at her Soul Gear, a giant sword that appears unwieldy and heavy, but you have seen her lifting it effortlessly earlier, with one hand no less. "And that's one awesome sword you got there, Miss Sakuraba," you say, impressed.

"Oooh! Of course it's awesome!" Minene seems delighted as you compliments her sword. "This is my Soul Gear, Shimmering Edelweiss! She's pretty awesome, isn't she?" She said, patting on the flat of her Soul Gear. "See, I can even use it as a shield!" She goes to stand behind the sword, which is currently stabbed into the ground. "Pretty cool, innit?"

"Ah..." You nod. "Yeah, the sword looks pretty sturdy, so it can function as a shield too, huh?" You continue observing the sword.

"Not only that, I can use it to hide myself too!" Minene adds as she hides herself behind the huge sword. Due to her small stature, she can easily hide herself behind the sword.

"Now you can't see me!" She says from behind her sword, which has become her impromptu hiding spot.

"I see..." You say, stroking your own imaginary beard under your chin. "Due to its size, you can even hide yourself behind it. It's a perfect defense," you nod to yourself several times.

"Also, watch this..." She then pulls out her sword and hefts it above her shoulder. She does so with only her left hand. Then, she lowers her body before she holds the hilt of her Soul Gear with both hands, as if preparing to make an upward slash.

"OOOORAAH!!!"

With loud yell, she swings her Soul Gear, and you can feel wind blowing from all over the place. You can see that her swing releases some sort of crescent-shaped blast, which then cut the clouds in the sky almost immediately. She staggers a bit, affected by the inertia of her swing, but then she steadies herself before she rests her sword over her shoulder. Despite the sharp edge on her sword, her shoulder doesn't seem to be affected by it. And she doesn't seem to be bothered by the her Soul Gear's apparent weight.

"So, what do you think, Kazuto?" Minene asks.

"Holy crap..." You mutter, looking at the parted clouds in the sky. "I-is that a Soul Art?"

"Nope! Just my normal attack!" Minene replies cheerfully.

"..." You give Minene a stare. Then, you shake your head. "T-that's awesome. But... is it heavy?" You ask, curious.

"Nope! It's as light as a feather!" She says as she raises Shimmering Edelweiss above her head.

"Is that so?" You absentmindedly approaches Minene. "Can I lift it?"

"Sure!" Minene, also absentmindedly, replies. She moves to hand you the Shimmering Edelweiss. When your hand already holds the hilt as she releases her grip, her expression changes, as if remembering something crucial.

"W-wait, no-!"

But it's already too late as your right hand holds the Shimmering Edelweiss' hilt. The moment you take the Soul Gear from its owner's hand, you can feel your right hand moving downward, following the Soul Gear as it falls.

And you can hear the sound of your shoulder popping out of its socket, and naturally, you respond to it in the most natural way.

"UGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

You scream in pain. You let go of your grip, letting the Soul Gear fall onto the ground. You cannot feel your right arm anymore.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Minene wails.

She immediately picks up her Soul Gear and dismisses it. Then she goes to your side, checking on your dislocated shoulder, panicking.

"I-I'm sorry! I forgot that to other people, my sword weighs a ton! D-does it hurt? I-it hurts, doesn't it? N-no... uu... uuaah... UWAAAAHHH!!" Minene bawls. "I'M SORRY!!"

Seeing her crying like that, you try to tune out the pain. "H-hey, d-don't cry, will ya? Urgh... this hurts..."

"SEE?! I TOLD YOU IT HURTS! WAAAAAAAAAAHH!!"

It seems that Minene won't stop crying anytime soon. Your right hand still hangs uselessly to your side. You might as well fix it as soon as possible, but you need to do something about Minene first.

Alright, here's the update! So, you need to make a write-in about what to say to Minene before you choose about what to do with your dislocated shoulder. Hope you'll like this one. Have fun, boys and girls!

[x] Hey, I probably should have figured out that such a huge sword would require it to work differently to the user. That or that you were insanely strong. It's totally my own fault for trying something like that without thinking whether or not I was doing something wise. Now just give me a second to fix my shoulder. It's far from the worst injury I've received.

[x] Treat your injury

[x]"Not your fault, I should've realized how heavy the sword would be to someone other than the user. This totally consists as my exercise for the day by the way."

It's not like were in the middle of a life or death situation here guys.

Medic!
Should meet the nurse too

[x]"Not your fault, I should've realized how heavy the sword would be to someone other than the user. This totally consists as my exercise for the day by the way."
-[X] "You wouldn't happen to know any healing magic...?"

[X] Please don't cry! It was just an accident. I'm fine, really! See?

[X] Treat your injury
-[X] Pop it back into place

No need to remind her of the incident itself. Console her, suck it up, move on.

[X] "It seems that every time I meet a pretty girl I get hurt somehow, don't blame yourself for my cursed fate. I do wish I had spent the time to finish a healing spell though. ...Uh, and about the other injuries I mentioned, I'd explain but in retrospect it makes me look really dumb."

[X] Treat your injury

For the first part I maintain that Shirley and Robin are dignified ladies, and therefore did not trigger our curse to be injured when meeting pretty girls :p. For the dislocated shoulder we should get it reduced by someone who knows what they're doing. We aren't under a time constraint that justifies fixing it ourselves.
Anyone want to bet that Minene is known by the nurses?
