This is pretty much exactly what happened. Once I get something better than an irregular-hour retail job I'll probably be able to churn out more regular content.

    No. Perhaps not. Has she constrained herself as well? Perhaps she has. Madoka was always too kind-hearted. Maybe she just wanted to put herself on the same footing as you.

    You thought you could trust her to take better care of herself, to value her own life more so than she used to all those years ago.
    But... Madoka is Madoka. She always has been, always will be. You might have been wrong to trust her to this extent. Maybe she still needs someone to look after her? To protect her? Because it seems like the biggest threat to her well being is herself.

    As an Awakened Goddess, you presumably have the drop on... whatever Madoka has turned herself into. What should you do? You'd talk with her again, ideally, but she's a stubborn girl. She might not listen to what you have to say. You could always force her back into that gilded cage you once made of her world. That would ensure her safety for a time. At least... until she overthrew you again.
    Well, you'd just have to be sure that such a thing never came to pass.
    And what happened to the others? Mami? Kyouko? Sayaka? Amy? Did Madoka put them in similarly perilous circumstances?
    More specifically, you know that Madoka would never endanger her friends, but unlike your pink-haired friend you've actually read One Punch Man. She just skimmed it for the humor. You're not too sure that she realized just how dangerous this world is.
    And not just from the monsters either.
    You're not entirely sure that Mami hasn't turned into a friend-hoarding cake monster yet.
    Or Kyouko into some kind of ravenous DDR machine.
    Or Sayaka into... a mermaid or something?
    Either way, you're pretty sure that Amy is a cat. Why wouldn't she be?

    ... And as far as passing thoughts go, humoring Madoka and playing dumb might not be too bad. You won't be in any real danger at this point, and you can always lecture her later. So long as you ensure that you're never rendered so helpless again.

    Cause Homura does care about them even if she's more obsessed with Madoka. And how Madoka would feel if she hurt them by accident.

    Then... I'm not sure if we should sit back and wait or if we should confront her, maybe with the others? She is stubborn, and we're not sure whether being the Cycle is making that worse or not, but all of us hitting her over the head with The Point might be enough, or we could wait and see where it's going to try and learn/figure out more.

    Ideally, I'd like to go and check on people, but well, most of them are already dead anyway? So if they die again, they'll just go back to Madoka's afterlife? I think?

    Unless they don't, but then we get to chase across the multiverse kicking open the doors to various afterlifes. Might be fun.

    So with that in mind, I think it'd be better to just talk without anyone else to get in the way. Unless you guys think a group conversation would work better for us in this instance.

    I keep imagining Homura appearing in front of the MC, making her secondary transformation, stretching out her wings and saying: "I'm the Goddess of Love and War from another dimension, fite me."

    I mean, at least it will make his day.
