I've heard people speculate that they're combining Luke and Danny's shows into Heroes For Hire.

Which...I've heard worse ideas for a retool, but I'm not convinced people see Iron Fist as a headliner anymore.
I hope not. I'd rather see both shows continue on the Disney streaming service separate from one another.

Whoever made the decision to cancel both Luke Cage and Iron Fist needs to be sacked on the spot!!!

RIP Luke Cage, seems they decided not to go through with a third season.

Oh my god they did it?! They actually canceled Luke Cage? I am the happiest I've been in awhile, they can stop wasting time on those two garbage piles and focus on the shows with competent writers and choreographers. Luke Cage S2 was one of the worst shows I've seen in ages. Maybe the writers for Luke Cage will get a job they're more suited for now. Like writing for RoosterTeeth.

I thought it was good, it was a massive improvement over Season 1, which started big, but petered out at the end. Even though I still consider below Jessica Jones and Daredevil, Luke Cage still showed a lot of effort and it paid off in Season 2.

I really liked the focus on Mariah, which kept the show in focus in contrast to Season 1, which bounced between her, Cottonmouth, and Diamondback. Even though Bushmaster was a constant threat throughout the series, Alfie Woodward's portrayal of Mariah was terrifying as hell. This was a gangster lady, who despite personally gunning down 7 innocent people (plus 1 spy) and burning an innocent man to death, still somehow believes she was in the right. I've watched plenty of superhero media, but that kind of self-conviction was actually terrifying in ways that villainous glee can never be.

I had the opposite experience. Mariah always felt like a petty low-level threat that got shoved to the top in a really irritating manner, and I just wanted her to go to jail in arc 1 so we can deal with someone actually compelling. I never felt scared or threatened by her.

Than fire him. Besides I heard rumors online, Netflix cancelled Luke Cage and Iron Fist, while Marvel pushed for the shows to be kept going.

Yeah that's going to happen. Disney will totally fire the man who's made billions for them because you're mad at him for cancelling a tv show. :eyeroll:

I've said this before, but the first six episodes of Luke Cage S1 is a fantastic story that works as its own self-contained thing.

Everything after that is like mediocre fan fiction of Luke Cage Episodes 1-6.
