Love Endures (A SV-Original Erotica Quest)

[X][SCIENCE] Science is Weird.
[X][Art] Art is Fun.
[X][Issue] She's a virgin.
[X][Passion] A Kink

Not just because that's what I prefer in general, but also because I'm interested in how this would play out.

[X][SCIENCE] Science is Intriguing.

Beneficial human viruses. Let's make it happen people!

[X][Art] Art is Intimate.

Trust is the most important Quality.

[X][Issue] She's ashamed of one of her kinks.

Don't really want to deal with the other issues, this also works into the trust theme.

[X][Passion] An Organization

I really want to pick A Love but my vision is very specific and easily ruined, and this gives an immediate opportunity to inflict positive change.

Why not. Let's go for something fantasy and potentially world-changing. If not, kinks are kinks.

Pitch me it! If I think it's strong and believe I can do it justice, I'll include it in the Love vote.

Also, consider this a reminder that all votes in this thread are approval votes, and I take minority opinions into account. It's in your best interest to vote for all the options you like!

If you're asking....

If I picked a Love, I would want our partner to be an older man with children of his own already, with the assumption that our character is around her early twenties. The relationship could have been born after he had a divorce, or even before that point, and the quest would be, in part, about learning how they can make their relationship work. Our character would have to struggle with children, or even teenagers, who may not like her at first but she can't truly avoid, and would learn how to truly trust her partner to pinpoint how their relationship is different from his last one, and/or her last ones, with the assumption that her previous rendezvous were more traditionally set.

It'll be messy, and everyone won't come out of it smelling like roses, but I would like to read about the dumb decisions and risk people take to find love in unlikely, even precarious, places.

There's certainly some strong drama there, but I'm uncertain I could write the divorced husband's character well. That's a perspective I'm quite far from on multiple axes, to be frank.

So while I appreciate you sharing your pitch, it is not to be. (Alas.)

That's fine.

I have particular aesthetic taste. I know I would very greatly prefer masculine partners, with multiple dynamics that'd be cool, but this ultimately a community...game? Experience?

Can't win them all.

I prefer to write women having sex with women, but men have been known to appear on occasion. If others share your preferences, I may put some time into creating a few recurring male characters who appeal to my tastes: if not, you may be largely out of luck.

A matter for a later vote, in any case.

Not like I can't appreciate good writing on its own merits, and it isn't as if your previous endeavors have been disquieting. This is also much easier to invest my time in than Mantle.

But lets, uh, end this line of discussion.

Instead...

Crazy weird science in the field of sex! Time to help the world, one pregnancy/disease/disorder at a time.

I'll just note here that anyone who wishes to comment or vote without it being publicly visible is welcome to do so via PM to me.

...aww, I missed the vote. I wanted [Sex is Magic]. Oh well, maybe I'll write it myself hahanope

[X][SCIENCE] Science is Weird.
[X][SCIENCE] Science is Beautiful.
[X][Art] Art is Fun.

I want low-stakes, personal, and fluffy.

[X][Issue] She's ashamed of one of her kinks.
[X][Issue] She's still figuring out her own sexual preferences.

I'm not really interested in watching the MC struggle with not knowing stuff yet.

[X][Passion] A Kink

Again, mostly by process of elimination. Though I am hoping that half the story could be about a kink that I share...

...Ok. I have less then zero idea what I want in specific but I am so very on board for this in general (I loved the last quest). So I'm probably not going to vote at this point but felt I should stop in and voice my support anyhow.

I guess it's too much to ask for NSFW quests that involve less kink than most of them?

Just FYI, I use the pink theme. By unlucky coincidence, this makes your vote highlighting actually near-invisible to me:

It's not a major problem - the tallier can read it just fine, and quoting your post lets me get at the actual text - but I figured you'd appreciate a heads-up anyway.

Edit:
Actually, I spoke too soon about the tallier: the extra color formatting is making it sort your votes separately from the rest. I'm willing to hand tally your vote if need be, but it'd save me some effort and annoyance if you could fix your formatting.

Then again, my issue is that literally everything has to end up as bdsm in nsfw quests. And yet, Kink doesn't have to involve it at all.

@Uncle: It's the color that's the problem, not the bolding. The best way to make sure you got it all is to use the "clear formatting" button in the top-right.

Then again, my issue is that literally everything has to end up as bdsm in nsfw quests. And yet, Kink doesn't have to involve it at all.

This is probably because BDSM is such a major grouping. It's basically the entire "sex is power" theme - which means that just about any kink can be BDSM if it's done as a form of power exchange.

However, I'm not sure if "I want an equal relationship not involving significant power exchange" is what you actually intend to say here: there's a "stereotypical form" of BDSM out there, which tends to involve sex dungeons, whips, and people in tight leather, and personally I'm not terribly into any of that either. (Save possibly people in tight leather.)

Are you against the broader theme, its more stereotypical expressions, or both?

...Ok. I have less then zero idea what I want in specific but I am so very on board for this in general (I loved the last quest). So I'm probably not going to vote at this point but felt I should stop in and voice my support anyhow.

Literally everything looks cool and interesting! This decision is killing me.

Thanks for the praise! These are the kinds of reactions I've been hoping for. <3

If you actually like all the options and want to see them all explored, it's both valid and meaningful for you to literally vote for everything. (This makes minority inclusions more likely, because the proportion of votes that are positive towards any given option is now higher. 2/3 is larger than 1/2.)
