Blah, first Mari's hair and now this. Just something else to get used to I guess. *sigh* ...And I just realized that because Kanami is on a different character than the one from the flashbacks they actually have justification and ugggggh!
Did you forget that DTB disbanded long before Appocalypse!?
Those scenes are rendered from Shiroe mind from her real life image
Kanami here is in her new account and playing as Monk( her old account is monk dressing Swash).Their new body come from both Real and avatar so likely she created new char with Huge boobs
Naotsugu had to do some serious talking to get Shiroe to meet him IRL. It's fairly likely most of the DTP hadn't met Shiroe IRL. He seems to have spent most of his time studying and gaming.
I've just got the chance to see the first Episode of Log Horizon Season Two... and lo and behold...
THE CHARACTERS FROM THE PUBLISHED LOG HORIZON TRPG SESSION APPEARED IN A CAMEO!!!!!!!! THEY'RE CANON!!!! OMGWTF
The Samurai with a Wolf head, the girl in the Miko Outfit, the Old Man with a Backpack, the Girl Swashbuckler, and that Girl in a Weird-ass Shirt? The Wolf Bro with his Air Typing, Samurai Posing Stuff? The Old man who gave Minori the Weird Ass Plushy?
They came from a TRPG Session that had Mamare as the GM, as a part of selling the Log Horizon TRPG Rulebook that was sold earlier this year.
And they're Animated! I believe no voices and no place in the plot for the future, though. That fight during the Money talk? The actual fight in the TRPG Session. So if there are more Sessions done, they might end up running in the background.
I'm still glad that the Weird Ass Plushy Toy is in Akatsuki's possession, and have a place in the ending. The Plushy Toy was an Idea tossed by the Player behind the Old Man; looks like the Anime producers chose to use it.
Oh, and Wolf Bro blushing while air typing would probably be him being a perv towards the Girl Swashbuckler. The one Serara out runs during the bread race.
Holy carp, DEEN. The heck did you do to Kanami's chest?
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm used to unrealistic figures in anime. And to my shame, I'll admit that I appreciated Nureha's design in that respect more than I should have.
Still, it doesn't hurt to have a little consistency, does it? I mean, hell, Kanami looked just fine in the flashbacks in season one.

>still waiting another couple days for Log Hora S2 to be free on crunchyroll<
That would probably help a bit. At least then they're being a bit self-aware about the matter. Then again, I don't exactly feel like it's something that we should be having our attention drawn to either.
It still comes across as a bit unnecessary, I think. Kanami's character design did need to go through some changes to fit with her new account's avatar but even so...
Well, I suppose it's just me nitpicking at this point. Fanservice is fanservice, after all. I probably wouldn't have said a word if we didn't already have a much different Kanami in the show before.
I'm happier with this episode than the last one. It felt like it moved faster and the changes to Naotsugu's face are less a bother now I'm not _directly_ going from season 1 to season 2.
I'm actually quite happy with the way Demi-Demi and Tetra appear in this episode, so thumbs-up!
Delayed Database this week due to the latest WoW patch. Sue me.
What if it's a giant phantom beast Shiroe? Or a phantom giant beast? Or a giant beast phantom? What then?
He's seen some shit. I gotta credit Deen here for the expression on William's face. Despite the atrocious hair, it does look genuinely pained at recalling the 'lessons' he's learned. The scene itself is subtle and poignant. Death may be cheap in this world but it is hardly consequence free.
I'm getting a JoJo vibe. And I've never watched JoJo. It's the hair I think. It feels like it belongs in JoJo.
Wild Cleric finally gets around to introducing herself. I have to admit, I've always loved those mini-hats. Also, haven't I seen you in Chuunibyou demo koi shitai?
Naotsugu, you're a man after my own heart. I support and fully endorse your choice of waifu and will ship you two as the OTP you truly are.
Best trollface of the series so far.
She got under his armour and popped out. That would be ridiculously useful in a fight since she'd literally be a pocket healer, though I'm willing to bet that's a Tetra speciality and not a class ability. Tetra seems to be on just the right side of annoying to be charming. A little more or less annoying in either direction and she'd be just plain annoying.
It's the small, subtle things, like the way she pulls her hand up to her wrist as though to send a telepathic hug to Naotsugu, that sells their true love to me. I love it.
This episode was great and made me feel great. The only thing I can fault is that some of the foreshadowing is a bit too transparent, as we saw with I WILL BE IMPORTANT LATER NOTICE ME AS WE PASS BY IN THE STREET DISCRETION SHOT GUY. Marielle and Naotsugu getting some romantic chats in was heavenly. They're an OTP that I will ship for eternity, though Regan proves to be both the best bro and the best waifu so far. The Delicious sequences had me cracking up.
Overall, the episode was mostly comedic with a few points of poignancy thrown in. Advances the plot without getting bogged down, furthers character development.
We also get introduced to Tetra for the first time. As I mentioned earlier, she's in that sweet spot on the annoying scale, but she's also pushing the turbo button on the moe. Turbomoe. She's Turbomoe. That's a thing I invented. Do not steal.
The astute listener and amateur understanding of moon that I possess clues me in to at least one thing about her that may become apparent later. It's enclosed in spoilers.
She often refers to herself as Boku, rather than Watashi or Atashi. This means she's either a very tomboyish girl or a somewhat feminine man. All things considered...
We haven't seen much of the other characters outside of the main set so far, but that's to be expected considering Log Horizon has loads and loads of characters and just introduced a new primary in the form of Tetra.
