I have Question. So for guardians, are they the game version or the lore version.

Edit: also i think we should get some military first

I think we should raise all attributes by 1, it will only cost 20 BP.

We can skip the Communications Array now, and make constructing a Tier 3 Communications Array our first Facility constructed during the quest(and a priority).
Hanger is cheaper than Armoury. And initially we will only have limited human personnel (10 residents with Tier 1), small vehicles are likely a better way to use them.

Glimmer Mine Tier 1 | Cost: 50BP | 30 Space | 10k Glimmer/Turn, Increased Discovery Risk.
Habitation Unit Tier 1 | Cost: 30BP | 60 Space | 10 Residents
Research Lab Tier 2 | Cost: 75BP | 50 Space | 50 Bonus PP, can host 5 Researchers
Fabrication Plant Tier 2 | Cost: 75BP | 70 Space | Capacity: 5x5x5m, 100k Gl/Turn, 3 Engineers
Hangar Tier 2 | Cost: 60BP | 100 Space | Capacity: 4 Small, 2 Medium, 1 Large Vehicles, 2 Engineers

290 BP on Facilities

We can then have all Science Packages be Tier 5 (except for Biomedics at Tier 4, and Information at Tier 6) .
340BP on Science Packages.

Going to have to skip this phase. Can't actually READ most of the content.
Would advise using Article instead of quote tags for format boxes meant to be read.

I'm tempted to get the MAX sized research lab and the rest of the BP into high tiers of science packages.
Just to push the whole "Must... get... KNOWLEDGE!!!" part of our personality. Because cool gadgets are temporary, while knowledge is forever.

Do we know anything about our setting? Could we be a peaceful research facility of peace or would that lead to us being crunched up into little pieces by a rampaging robot dinosaur?

This is set in the Destiny game, but timeline-wise we only know we are post-Collapse.

We know we cannot be a peaceful research facility of peace, every alien and human survivor community(that discoverers us) will start hostile to us.
We have intact, fully functional Golden Age equipment, which everyone will want to take. When we get a few glimmer mines in more productive sites, then our production will make us the goose that laid the golden eggs for our allies. But for now, we lack the industry to make a large trade surplus.
We need to add minds to our gestalt. Preferably elderly volunteers, but captured individuals with high attributes or skills will boost our own when consumed by us. Whether we are compared to the Borg(Star Trek) or Alex(Prototype) , people will not view us favourably. Even if we completely avoid uploading minds, most will not believe that.
Most other Warminds will seek to hack and wipe us, the more heroicly inclined ones died fighting the Darkness. That is why I think we should only have a Tier 3 Communications Facility, we don't want to connect to the Warstat network on the less secure Tier 2.

At the moment I don't have any idea because is my first Gestalt quest and I don't know what we'll need.
But we should take in account that we have a very low risk to be discovered that is increased by the mining facility (I think we go to low risk).

I'll take that under advisement. Check back in in an hour, I'll be at a computer and will edit my posts accordingly.

The setting is Destiny. I'd give a read through of the wiki. Here's the opening cinematic of the first game - it really conveys this sense of wonder and awe that the setting's always given me.

The arrival of the Traveler in our Solar System in "the present day" is effectively the point of divergence from our own timeline.
Destinypedia said:
The Traveler first came to human attention when it appeared around Jupiter and terraformed two of its moons. Initially dubbed "Moon X", it quickly became the center of international attention. After finishing its work on Jupiter, it vanished for fourteen months, reappeared to terraform Mercury, vanished again for seven months, and then appeared again to terraform Venus.[11]Questions about the identity of Moon X abounded, and cults worshiping it emerged, some of which fell into conflict.[12] Other cults held demonstrations calling for the unification of Earth's governments.[13]

When Moon X was detected approaching Mars, a mission to intercept it was hastily organized.[14]Initially known as Project Catamaran, the effort was renamed Ares One on the day of launch.[15]The name "Traveler" may have been coined by one of the crew members.[16] By the time the ship landed on Mars,[17] the Traveler had brought the first rain to the desert planet.[18][19] It helped humanity expand across the solar system, teaching humans new technologies, helping them terraform planets and leading humanity into a Golden Age.

This kickstarts humanity's Golden Age.

Eventually, we get Warminds to defend the Solar System from potential extrasolar threats; Rasputin was the first (and arguably only true) Warmind, and coordinates a massive network of "Warsat" satellites that basically can lasernuke anything in the system.

There's a whole bunch of cool shit there.

is it odd when I read Socioscience and Communication Array my mind went to
radio show host like in those podcast

if we have drones Traffic could be movement patterns of some travellers or some survivors
....
..
yes I just listened to NightVale today

Good plan, personally I'd lower hanger level and up exo science, military, and paracasual

[X] Plan: PLAN ŌKUNINUSHI

It's 5:30PM Sunday my time -

If we don't get completing plans (i.e. if Okuninushi doesn't have any competitors) in... 12 hours, let's say, I'll close the vote at that point.

I'd like to formally close the vote at midnight, Pacific Standard Time (which, if I'm not mistaken, is in around 22.5 hours), otherwise.

UPDATE: It's been a hectic week. Major presentation and assignments this week, exams the next and the week after. *whines*

Anyway!

Please expect new story content to come on Sunday - accompanied by a vote for starting units. Thank you for being patient with me. In appreciation, I'll be giving you guys additional BP exclusively for purchasing these units. Since these will be items that were in the Hill when you woke up, material costs will also be waived.

Note: There will be advanced options that will require hefty investment to earn in the actual game, but these will be extremely expensive. You can use them, or hell, you can try to reverse engineer them. I'm going to be stacking the deck against you guys enough anyway, so you might as well have some more advantages!

In the mean time, here's a teaser of things to come - note that you won't be able to act on OOC information unless TSUKUYOMI learns of things itself. Spoiler tags, for obvious reasons.

Pirates ravage the ruined cities of the long-dead Corporate Empire of Japan, scavenging for tech to appease their machine gods. In the sprawling megalopolis of Old Tokyo, the Devils run wild and free – kept in check only by the Warlord of the East and his undying vassals. Meanwhile, the Warlord of the West and her band of warriors have exploded onto the scene on their crusade for glory, chasing rumors of a lost Golden Age vault hidden in the ancient Capital, filled with powerful secrets.

This is the world in which you have awoken, though you do not know it yet. You are Tsukuyomi, prototype next-gen Warmind of the now-extinct Artificial Intelligence Initiative, and you will survive – there's so much to research, to learn – and all of it just waiting to be discovered.
