Warning: Warning
And being an ex-Muslim has made me realize how anti-Semitic Muslim people are. Seriously I get so many statements of the Jewish conspiracy and horribly racist remarks that I just stopped caring about the fate of people of the Muslim faith.
warning This is absurd. Stop this right now.

But that's just legal status (and not even true in Atlas, where the academy took over the nation).
I'm pretty sure it was the other way around.
The latest WOR episode says "However, Atlas Academy has come under increasing amounts of scrutiny for the indoctrination of military lifestyle upon its students, pressuring them to enlist in the Atlas Military's Special Operatives unit."

No, it was mentioned it's the other way round. The Kingdom used to be called something else. The academy now IS the kingdom.

They have the same name. However, we know that the Valish council "reached out to" the Atlasian council about putting Ironwood in charge of the festival's security, so Atlas does have a civilian government.

It could still turn out that the Atlas council is completely in Ironwood's pocket and that he's actually more of a dictator than Ozpin, despite appearances to the contrary at this point. But we haven't seen evidence of that yet.

But that isn't part of their hunter duties. That's team RWBY, well - playing vigilante. Out of their own initiative.

But that's just legal status (and not even true in Atlas, where the academy took over the nation). In terms of identity, surely every academy is in fact tied to a kingdom. And it's identity which matters in terms of nationalism and national bellicosity. So the academies can totally stand in as champions of sorts of their respective kingdoms.

My point is that having the academies compete in a massively public tournament is a surefire way to cause nationalistic sentiments to attach themselves to the academies. If the Hunters were meant to be supranational, then the vital tournament was destructive to their ideal from the beginning.

And, we know that Hunters also fight criminals as part of their jobs, even if Team DUMB also does it as a hobby. Team CHAD was given a policing mission within Vale before the breach happened.

I wonder what exuses RWBY fans will make after Leila concludes that volume 3 isn't any better than 1 or 2. Or when she concludes that volume 4 is also trash.

Not judging volume 4 until I've seen it.

At least one recurring narrative I've heard from fans is that season 3 was a mess, but it transitioned into something much better by the end and that season 4 continued from that.

I don't expect it to ever be GOOD at this point, but I can see it becoming okay-ish.

If the first three seasons are terrible and the later seasons are good, can you honestly say that RWBY as a whole is good?

It's like having a steak where the 70% of the steak is cooked just fine but that 30% is burnt to a crisp.

They will be wondering how their predictions about Leila coming to the obvious conclusion and agreeing with them were wrong.

Think you guys are confusing rwby fans with rwby "FANS"

A fan will like the show despite the fault, and admit its faults on review.

A "FAN" will call you a dumby for not understanding the show and its 'intricacies' Eg: Rick and morty meme.

To become a fan is to rid oneself of the pain and harshness of choice.

Now nothing you do is your fault. Now you belong to something.

You belong to me.

Faults are a lie, there is only love.
Through love, I gain obsession.
Through obsession, I gain wisdom.
Through wisdom, I gain knowledge.
Through knowledge, my chains are broken.
RWBY shall free me.

how do you delete someone else's post
First, you devour their soul and possess the empty shell left behind. Then, using their hands you push the delete button on the post, using their computer that is conveniently signed into their account still.

Lastly, you hide the husk in case you have future use for it. You probably will eventually, let's be honest here.

You've been reading Zerban's quest, haven't you.

All you plebs calling RWBY fans "fans".

Excuse you, it's FNDM, get it right.
I will never call it FNDM, just like I will never call interludes or joke chapters "omakes" because that's weaboo nonsense.

Also just like I will never call RWBY an anime or its tie-in comic a manga, because they are not those things. They were produced in a non-Japanese language by a non-Japanese company outside of Japan, so they by definition cannot be an anime or a manga respectively.

Also like I will call the author of Worm John C. McCrae, because if he and his audience want to treat his dreck like a serious published work rather than an amateur web novel, then I will not call him by his username.

Just like how I think it's stupid and asinine when fanfiction or subtitles of Japanese properties put in the honorifics or the word "mou" rather than just fully doing their job as a translation.
