Sorry about this. I should have I should have it up tomorrow.
Edit: and now this flu has relapsed. Apologies, everyone, but there's going to be more delays.
Edit 2 (2/1): Still alive. Feels like all my energy has mysteriously vanished, and whatever this stupid bug is has made some of my chronic problems act up, but I'm still alive.

First of all, shouting over the sound of the sandstorm is going to get old quickly. Eliza, transfer the communications patches.

As you dodge between the flying rocks, you see flashes of Red, Lavender, and a Light-Indigo, on occasion. You can't help but get the impression of some kind of sureal, technicolor thunder-storm.
Finally, after almost a minute (and a few close calls), they flying rocks stop, the interference vanishes, and the sandstorm begins to dissipate. Hayate's Wits: 67+15=82; Wolkenritter's Performance: 11+10=21

Granted, It takes another minute for the sandstorm to dissipate, during which the three Wolkenritter don't answer any attempts to communicate with them. As the sand begins to settle to the point where you can see them...
"What are they doing?" Fate is the first to ask. A confused expression on her face
"I think it's supposed to be some kind of Sentai pose." Nanoha answers. She seems to be waffling between sympathetic and amused.
"Dangit you guys." Hayate sighs in frustration. "I knew we should have worked more on this."
Oh, it was her idea. That would explain it.
At the look everyone gives her, she just laughs sheepishly. "Ehehe~. What can I say, it was the perfect time for a dramatic team pose." Now she's nodding sagely to herself. "Traditions must be followed, you know!"
Both Nanoha, and the approaching Wolkenritter appear to be embarrassed to be associated with the eccentric girl. While the others are just looking at her in confusion.
Hopefully they don't think all people from Earth are this strange.

All things said, the fixing of the Tome of the Night Sky went off much better than it did in the Canon timeline. Due to Mariel's skill in hacking the device combined with Reinforce's help (and both of them admitting to more than a bit of luck in the process) and the fact that the book didn't eat any linker cores, meant that the Master Program didn't have to sacrifice herself to destroy the Defense Program.
That said, you had to fill out more than a bit of paperwork over the incident. You shudder to think about the mountains of paperwork Chrono, Lindy, and their crew must have had to go through.
The Wolkenritter and Reinforce were still asked to stand trial as a formality, but considering that their previous masters and the Defense Program basically forced them to do what they did, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that they'll get off with little trouble. Until then, they're allowed to stay on Earth with Hayate as long as they don't leave the planet without a TSAB escort.
As for Fate; the TSAB had gone through Presea's files from the Garden, and had discovered both Alicia and the Project Fate files. Thankfully, Fate was innocent of any wrongdoing, and was quickly entered into the system as a citizen of Midchilda, while being allowed to stay on Earth with the Takamachis. Lindy is also working to get her custody of Lynith (who was captured shortly after Fate 'escaped' to Earth) now that her mother is in prison.
It's currently Day 4 in your 'Vacation to Earth', and you're now free of paperwork and legal issues.
What will you do?

GM's Notes: Sorry for being gone for so long folks; whatever that bug was, it did not want to go away.
Anyway; I was honestly expecting this to take another update to finish, but you guys bypassed one hurdle with your vote, and Shamal bypassed the other by rolling well. *shrug*

You only have three days left of your 'vacation' (unless you decide to extend it). While you can accomplish all that in that time, you'll be rushing a bit.
Sorry about that. I'm trying to keep the color both distinct and close to their actual magic's color, and Reinforce (the original)'s magic color is dark purple.

Lyrical Nanoha 34 Wits Check: 98+15= 113 (Crit!)
"Mou~" You can't help but chuckle at the look on Nanoha's face as you walk down the streets of Cranagan City on Midchilda.
Your current group consisted of yourself, Eliza, Nanoha, and Fate; due to Hayate's crew being confined to Earth until the trial date.
{I still think that an auxiliary control device is the way to go. It'd be like having a cute animal mascot for-} Hayate says from the holographic screen above Eliza. She's currently debating with Fate about which is better, weapon-type or auxiliary control-type devices.
She wasn't about to let a little thing like 'can't leave the planet' stop her from helping her friend with her new magical device.
As for Nanoha, the Earth-girl had been really eager to get to see the sights on an 'alien world'. From the sound of her speculating, you think she'd been expecting a place full of wonder and mystery. Fate had tried to explain to her that there really wasn't anything that unusual about Midchilda, but it looks like it really didn't sink in until now.
"Everything okay, Nanoha-chan?" You venture.
"I just don't understand!" She bursts out. "Where are all the flying cars, the moving sidewalks, the floating buildings?" She gestures with her hands. "It just looks like a normal city!"
"Oh, they do have all of those things." You comment lightly. As her face begins to light up, you then add. "Then again, we have most of those back on Earth, too."
This gets you an utterly baffled look. "What? But I've never seen them."
You nod in agreement. "For the same reason you probably won't see them here. They're expensive, dangerous, and impractical." Her expression switches to one of disbelief. Social: 36+25=60; Nanoha's Int: 96+30=126(minor crit!)
Looks like you'll have to explain. "Have you ever seen a car crash, Nanoha-chan?" She takes a second to think before nodding her head. "Now imagine it happened in midair." She takes another second to think on this before flinching.
"Oh... And it must be the same for buildings, and even people. If something happened to them while they're in the air..." She seems to droop at this.
You nod. Once again impressed with her mental faculties. "Correct. In any civilized society, you have to take safety into account."
"Mou~" And now she's pouting again.
Fate, looking like she's had enough of this, walks over and grabs the pouting brunette's hand. This gets a curious (if still slightly grumpy) look from the moping girl. Placing her other hand on her shoulder, the blonde spins her friend around 180 degrees and points with a finger.
As Nanoha stares awestruck at the view in the sky, a satisfied smirk appears on Fate's face as she watches her friend's reaction.
You can't help but share a grin with Eliza and Hayate at the two of them.

Fifteen minutes later, you find yourselves standing in the device-store that Captain Alpine had recommended to you, browsing through their selection.
{It looks like one of those stores that sells Gunpla.} Hayate notes cheerfully, as you walk in the door. She's not entirely wrong, although you'd only seen pictures of those stores. Granted, there was also a part of the store that seemed to be more of a weapon's shop, but for the most part the store seemed to be part computer-store and part accessories/toys.
"Let's see..." You muse as you examine the aisles. "You wanted your device to be Intelligent, right Nanoha-chan?"
"If that's alright." She agrees hesitantly. "I know that Intelligent devices aren't cheap."
"Not a problem." You wave her off. "It's important that you have a device you like. Otherwise you won't be able to sync with it as well."
Intelligence [pick one]: [][Intelligence] Leanlight X31 (Powerful processor & known for being friendly; reputation for being single-minded)
[][Intelligence] Princess Black T5UN (Known for being adaptable and efficient; personality tends toward task oriented; noted for being oddly prideful)
[][Intelligence] Dreamscape N1 (High-performance with outgoing and optimistic personalities; known for developing strange personality quirks)
[][Intelligence] Brightbook U (known for it's ability to adapt to odd casting styles; reputed to be generally quiet and somewhat overprotective of their masters)
[][Intelligence] (Write-In)*
*While I'm willing to be flexible, I reserve the right to adjust or outright veto any write-ins.
"Have you decided what type of device you're going to use?" Fate asks eagerly as you pull the selected core off of the shelf.
{She's obviously going for an auxiliary control-type} Hayate waves from her screen. {Every magical girl needs a mascot!}
"She can get a familiar for that." Fate argues back "Weapon-types are much more elegant."
At this point they're just rehashing their original argument. Nanoha turns to you for help.
Handle [pick one]:
[][Handle] Weapon-type (can be used directly in combat & easiest to modify)
-[] Weapon: (Write-In)
-Examples: Bardiche, S2U, & Graf Eisen
[][Handle] Auxiliary control-type (leaves the hands free & allows the device more autonomy; can merge for enhanced control)

[][Handle] Wearable-type (hardest to disarm & slightly more efficient than others)
-[] Object: (Write-In)
-Examples: Klarwind & Revolver Kunckle.
[][Handle] Don't make any suggestions.

-[X] Appearance: (Write-In) Blanc
Out of the Neptunia goddesses, i think Blanc would be better in order to curb her suicidal training regimes, along with comic rage scenes.
1. it is Blanc, not blank
2. Neptune is the one that is closest to Noire on a personal level. And Noire is a prime example of a workaholic.
3. while I am not sure if Nanoha is a workaholic here, I do know what caused her to be as such in canon did not happen here.
edit: remember, other than Neptune, the main 4 goddesses of neptunia are named after their respective colors, using the french words for them.
edit 2: which reminds me [X][Intelligence] Dreamscape N1 (High-performance with outgoing and optimistic personalities; known for developing strange personality quirks)
[X][Handle] Weapon-type (can be used directly in combat & easiest to modify)
gotta go for a Nepbike-lite device
My headcanon has always been that Nanoha was such a workaholic because the first time she decided to take a break during the Jewel Seed incident, a catastrophe happened that she could have easily prevented (the giant tree thing).
Edit: so she subconsciously associates not giving 110% with failing to save people.
