Just use stun weapons or sleeping gas explosives so you have the ability to spirit them away to Motherbase. :V

Decoys are also good if you like being unconventional.

Did they ever nerf non-lethal infiltrator in bounty hunter? Shit was crazy strong because you never wracked up a bounty and a single Fulton often made up for getting gunned down all game.

I won a match over the weekend in the red jungle map (not sure of the map's name but it's the same map as the freeplay map) where my team won a brutal war of attrition simply by having dedicated infiltrators attempt fultons over the 30 minute match.

The next round my team spawn camped the village and won by a large ticket margin. I had a grand time on my infiltrator that round.

It's like, +50% sprint speed and jump distance.

Anyways, I've gotten into this and it's great fun but also annoying because my Splinter Cell instincts have constantly been getting in the way. "What do you mean I can't back-jump between railings?" etc etc.

Also, fucking Riot Suits man. It reminds me of Modern Warfare 2's juggernauts. At least I can carry way too many grenades for my own good.

I am the literal worst infiltrator ever. :(
I just used CQC in the early days. Magazines to isolate those Riot suited guards, slams, interrogations... And as for infiltrating I've lost count of how many times I just got frustrated and called in air strikes and helicopters while popping people with precision headshots

DD's taser attack works as well.

Also throw a decoy right next to guards' feet and activate it and it will knock the guard out. A silent way to knock a guard out that spares your suppressor.

Also invest in getting suppresed stun weapons. The M1000 shotgun or whatever it is named has a stun version that pretty much knocks enemies out in one hit at the distance of under 40 meters. It also has a respectable suppressor life span. It is my favourite tool to FOB infiltrations.

And definitely have a suppressed sniper with you also. At the start you're going to fulton a lot, so I would recommend a tranq sniper.

For a long while my loadout was tranq pistol, assault rifle and then tranq sniper.

Seriously though this game needed a playlist option for Pequod's music, also Pat Benatar.

I always wondered why Kojima hadn't included Africa by Toto, but as I was listening to Snake's mixtape, I realised that basically every song is a reference to the material in the game. Like the story is basically built out of the music on the tape.

Well, in that case having the helicopter song change to match each pertinent story mission would have been really cool cos it have done a lot to actually make use of that.

Besides, Love is a Battlefield is perfect for Metal Gear.

Finally got the last strut of my fourth FOB under construction. Now to grind White Mamba mission to get rid off the Demon. Ugh... grinded that shit for five hours yesterday and the blood is still on me.

Sorry for the double post.

But I have a heads up. It seems that there is a new combat deployment mission known as ''Refugee Rescue'' which provides a reward of only 10GMP and requires ten S+ Medical Staff and ten S+ Combat Staff and comes with a casualty estimate of 65% and takes six days and eight hours to complete.

I have been discussing about this issue on Metal Gear Solid forums and a couple of people there have completed this combat deployment and it apparently took them out of the Demon Snake mode all the way to the smallest horn size.

So if this is true, it should allow you folks who are stuck at Demon Snake mode to get rid of the Demon Snake mode. I myself have just under six days left to see if this actually is true or not.

So if you feel like you're tired of Snake being a human unicorn tampon, then try this out.

My deepest apologies for the triple post but it is relevant and I know some people may want to hear this.

I can confirm that doing the Refugee Rescue combat deployment will take all your Demon points away. The cost for me was six S+ combat unit members along with one S++ medical team member and five S+ medical team members.

But damn doesn't it feel good to have Snake look normal instead of a human unicorn tampon. :)

Can't you just replay the missions with child soldiers in them?

I've been playing MGO, but I haven't touched the story mode too much yet.
I on the other hand am mostly playing V for the FOB mode these days.

I have the goal of making all my teams only S+ and S++ and I have reached it for the support and r&d units already with combat and base development being half way to that goal and with intel and medical requiring more S+ and S++.

I have also been doing research projects to increase my FOB security level which is a nice 60 now.

Does MGO have a large playerbase at the moment?

It's... decent? I played a bit over the weekend and managed to get into matchmaking quite quickly. I think now that the price tag is dropping people are starting to give it a try more. I haven't found too many DLC matches because #fuckonami.

Also it's a big step up from MGO2 because first person mode and ADS is actually pretty useful beyond sniping people. And CQC is improved although it's still very situational.

I recently bought The Phantom Pain (for 20 dollars, good deal), and just recently unlocked Africa as a field of operations. I'm having a great time, especially since the only big spoilers I exposed myself to before buying it was "Quiet dies for some reason but I don't remember why." The game's fucking awesome.

It could have been better but Konami fudged it up. :(
