Knockturned for The Better (Harry Potter Shopkeeper Quest)

Full blood veela yes. We know very very little about the species however. And they can mate with wizards, with no specification that that only produces female offspring.
... Well, half veela are demonstrably a thing in Harry Potter, but I have to wonder if Rowling actually put any thought into her worldbuilding concerning there being a distinction between full blooded and halfblooded members of an all female species. What, do they reproduce asexually? Or are they like Asari and Veela can reproduce with each other despite all being female? Weird. (Yes, I know the answer is just that Rowling didn't put any thought into it, and if she had she'd probably come up with something terrible to explain it)

Depending on when this is, let's go get Fleur Delacour!!! (She deserved better in canon (more attention, her character had so much potential. And also the ending where every character marries a Weasley uggghhh!)
Try not to quote entire chapters, the mods tend to dislike it.

It's more that Rowling skims over a *lot*.
I'm kind of thankful she did. It let's the fanfiction community fill in the blank spots. If she'd followed the logic orphan interested in his family and had harry actually investigate his father's ancestry, we'd have tens of thousands of fanfics using the name Fleamont for James father instead of Charles or other more stomachable names, and that would suck. A lot fewer creative takes on magic and setting too.

I wish GRRM would skim more when it comes to certain story elements.

That's why I'm here. I sat down and watched the movies/read the books this year and got annoyed at the lack of worldbuilding.
The wizarding word was fine as it was when the books were aimed more for kids.

It's when the series portrayed itself more seriously and you examine it more closely you can see the flaws.

Like the fact that there's a species that's enslaved, but it's okay because they're into it.

I mean, we could go with noble so that we have money to work with immediately... or we could bank on attribute currency to pick things up. Mystery stats could be anything! They could even be money!

[X] [Noble -200]

Probably won't win, but if Erin is already going to be exploring the underdeveloped parts of the setting I want to go all in. What exactly is life like for the people born immersed in magical culture?
