story variation? we are already going to be a spooky half ghost all day, everyday. we still have previous occupation and feats to lean into spooky, so their is no need to over due things by making our education little more than dressing on the be a ghost person salad.

I should have phrase my question better, as in, how can someone be half ghost? Veela, goblin, etc I understand how you can have half or part their blood, how does that work for ghosts?

QM has been keeping tight lipped so far. my personal guess would be a near death experience where the MC was clinically dead for a few minutes only to be artificially revived with modern medicine after becoming a ghost and has by some fluke or mistake in the method had his ghost self merge with his body.

I have plenty of theories depending on the type of ghost involved and whether Nikola was born a ghost or not.
A ghost could have been possessing his mom when she got pregnant leading to some weird magic stuff with him technically having three parents. It could be that there was a ghost that regretted not having a child and a necromancer found a 'creative' solution to get her to move on. One of the parents might be an especially strong spirit, like an ancestral house ghost, that was able to become corporeal enough to do the
