Now, it hasn't killed anyone, but we can't afford to let this kind of thing become a habit or else we're going to be buried in squatters in no time. Convince it to find someplace else to dig in, or barring that, take it out."

We either fight a Giant(we leave lesser out of the tales) or fight something that scares Giants, should give us some prestige points with our family.

Edit: Decided to delete the Fort vote as it seems like its coming down between Troll or Fort, & I prefer guaranteed prestige over a chance of loot

Just don't go so far we can't reach you on short notice"

Taking care of Giants is our family's whole schtick after all... although I wouldn't mind if the gacha won either.

-Traveller's Guide: You did notice an anecdote in the section on Warwickshire in the guide, about the author spending a night in an old Roman Fort. You're pretty sure that between Crowley, your memorization of the books, and the mobility you get with Bradamante, you can find it and see if anything valuable has been missed in the many years since the fall. The wilderness is pretty big, and while the most precious stuff was probably taken with the garrison when the fort was abandoned, even the leftovers could be highly valuable. It's a gamble with no guarantees one way or the other, and there's a good chance something would have taken residence, but if you want a quick way to turn free time into treasure, this could be your ticket forward.

Is this one of those choices where picking one means the others aren't happening? Or are they all happening, and we're just voting for the Ealderman's priorities?

The first, as stated in the notes.

If the traveklers books was right fighting what displaced it could be big rewards if we can take it on or good rewards for reporting it. If its out of our scope then... hey, as others have said, ant meet ant-eater.

If fighting's what we want for the troll one but diplomacy is the best outcome then it will be a bummer to succeed, which feels kinda bad

Pretty sure we have a type advantage against giants.

Lucks in our favour - we currently roll 8-9 successes on grace checks. we don't need the dice to fall that far outside the normf or us to potentially get something very good from the fort.

And honestly, I hear Roman and I get interested in possible setting tidbits.
