[X] Seduce Anchin away from his Canadian Lover.
It was simple, really. If Anchin had a lover, then all Kiyohime had to do was prove that she loved him more. It couldn't be too hard, after all. After all, what did this Canadian woman have that could compete with her love? She, who had waited years for Anchin to come back to her?
Nothing.
Kiyohime knew she was better for Anchin than this internet woman. All she needed to do was prove it. All she needed to do was worm her way back into Anchin's heart, deeper than ever. All she needed was time, and she had plenty of that. It wasn't as if she was ever going to leave Anchin's side.
"Oh, god no." Anchin stated, causing Kiyohime to look up at him.
"Please, god, have mercy." He pleaded. "What did I ever do to deserve this? Apart from all the sinning, I mean. That doesn't count."
Kiyohime frowned, and looked over at Revolver Ocelot. "Did you say something?" She asked.
The old man nodded. "Ugh... Yeah. I gave him a coded message, from out boss. No idea what it meant, but apparently, it was pretty bad."
Kiyohime looked at Anchin thoughtfully.
Clearly, there was some problem in the orders that was stressing him out. A difficult to preform task, or really bad news. Either way, perhaps she could help with that?
"Nope." Anchin said. Clearly, this was a coincidence, and had nothing to do with the fact that he was a mind reader who could understand her mental train of thought. "I'm out of here."
And with that, the roof above Anchin opened up, allowing the psychic to levitate through it, before sealing shut behind him.
"...Oh." Kiyohime muttered. "I was going to ask if I could help him..."
"He wouldn't have been able to answer anyway." Ocelot replied, trying to cheer her up. "Trust me, I should know. When the higher-ups give you orders, they usually include a Geis to stop word from spreading. Anchin couldn't tell you anything about those, even if he wanted to."
Looking up at the crack in the roof that Mantis had disappeared to, Ocelot continued. "Anyway, it just occurred to me that I'd already given Octopus his stuff. Memory's the first thing to go, it seems. But anyway, I have a little bit of time. I can help you go find Mantis if you want. Or I could introduce you to Foxhound. Your choice."
Kiyohime thought about it for a moment.
She
really wanted to chase after Anchin... But, seduction wasn't her forte. She needed time to teach herself how it was done, as well as time to put her knowledge into action. Again, time was no issue. She and Anchin had all of eternity together, after all.
...Huh. For a moment, Kiyohime swore she could hear a loud sobbing sound in the distance. How odd.
But no matter.
"I'd like to meet the rest of Foxhound now, Ocelot." Kiyohime said.
The old man nodded. "Follow me, then."
~~~~~
After several minutes of wandering around aimlessly, Kiyohime heard a low growling noise.
"Do you hear that?" She asked. Revolver Ocelot nodded.
"It sounds like a wolf." He said. "Which means it's..."
He trailed off, and right on cue, two beings came out from around the corner. The first, a wolf, locked eyes with Kiyohime immediately, it's growl intensifying. The second, a human woman, glared at the dog.
"Bertie! Vat has gotten into you? Calm down."
The wolf looked at the woman, and reluctantly, it backed down. However, it still watched Kiyohime warily, and always made sure to be in front of the woman.
"Sorry about zat." The woman said, in an accent that not even the Grail could pin a country to. "I'm not sure vat came over him. Bertie's not usually like vat, I swear."
"Maybe he just doesn't like Servants?" Suggested Ocelot. The woman looked at Kiyohime.
"Servant... So, you're Mantis' Berserker, zen? I vas vondering ven he vould summon..."
"That's me." Kiyohime replied. "It's nice to meet you, miss..."
"Oh, pardon me. Vere are my manners. I am called Sniper Volf."
"It's nice to meet you, Wolf." Kiyohime replied. "I'm-"
"Don't tell me." The sniper interrupted. "Mantis is not ze only mind reader in zis vorld. Even if my Magecraft is decent, I'm not match for any experience telepath. Keep your name to yourself, just in case."
"...I understand." Kiyohime said. "You can just call me Berserker, then."
"It's a pleasure, Berserker." Sniper Wolf said. "Zough I have to ask... You seem a bit coherent for a Berserker, don't you?"
"I got a read of her stats when we met." Ocelot interrupted. "My interpretation of this sorta thing varies from the norm, but the meaning is the same. Berserker's Mad Enhancement doesn't fit the scale right. In other words, she's special."
Kiyohime smiled at the praise.
Before the conversation could continue, however, 'Bertie' rubbed against Sniper Wolf's leg, whining.
"Vat is it, Bertie?" She asked. "I'm in ze middle of something here..."
"Maybe he's hungry?" Suggested Ocelot.
The sniper sighed. "Fine, zen. Come on, Bertie, I'll get you a snack."
For a moment, Kiyohime would have sworn she saw the wolf throw Ocelot a thankful look. After that, the two left, with Bertie always making sure to stay between Sniper Wolf and Kiyohime.
"Well, that's out sniper." Ocelot said. "She's pretty good, you know. She was taught by Big Boss himself, and... Well, I'll get into it later. After all, we have three teammates left, and I only have..."
Ocelot looked at his watch, and nearly jumped out of his skin.
"Is that the time? Already?" He questioned. "Sorry, Berserker. I don't have as much time as I thought I did. I'll just have to quickly escort you to another member, then run off to an appointment."
"That's okay." Kiyohime said. "I understand. Who are we going to see now?"
"I'll let you decide." Ocelot said. "There are three choices. First up is Vulcan Raven. He's a shaman, and not including Psycho Mantis, has better Magecraft than anyone else on the team. He keeps tabs on the Moonlit World, so he can tell you what to expect in the Grail War.
"Second is Decoy Octopus. I'm not sure what he does, but it's no Magecraft. He can make himself look like anyone else, like a skinwalker that doesn't actually take skin away from people.
"Last is Liquid Snake. He's... Well, he's an idiot. If I didn't know his past, I'd question his role on this team. But, here's the important part, he knew Mantis when they were kids. He could give you an insight into your Master's personality, if you could handle his stupidity."
Ocelot paused for breath, and took a moment to read Kiyohime's reaction. "So, what's it gonna be?"
