Kiyohime Quest (Nasu/Metal Gear AU)

But that'd mean the next part, picking our Auchin? Would it be Liquid, Ocelot...

... Or David, Raiden or worse, Otacon? :p Personally, I'm in the whole 'tragic shipping with Liquid', as best case scenario? We could like, extend his lifespan via the power of 'Yandere', and net a family to because Draconic Delusion lol.

And then of course, we can always Burninate the Patriots!
I have insider information that our Anchin is....*drumrolls* Psycho Mantis!!!

But it can be anyone we could deem a Master or 'Reincarnation', or HAKUNO at a push. :p

More seriously though, in a light hindsight, for shame a Shirou wasn't Route pursued, as if played right like a fiddle, we can outright turn into our House Husbando :p

Then again, the image of a possible waifu turning Liquid into a 'Possessed Demi-Servant' to counter his tragic lifespan, could maybe lead to 'Liquid Dragon' pulling Ocelot tiered Madness. But alas, that'd be more likely to explode in our face, as her pure maiden soul fuses with an Anchin and achieves Draconic Impact. :p

Now that's just crazy talk. :V

But without the Crazy Talk, we wouldn't end up with the Heaven's Feel lite route! :p :(

And honestly, if we were to sadly die a tragic death by David despite all our Yandere, then I suppose there could be no glorious end better than dying WITH Liquid, as we died together with one Heart.

This is of course, assuming we don't suddenly revive via Draconic Distortion, or pursue an alternative route instead. (Hint, Ocelot, Otacon, Raiden... Johnny toilet woes?)

Sadly all of those men are already locked into a route with the exception of Otacon. It is certain that if we do pursue the Otacon route, we are guaranteed to die. :V

Honestly, bar Otacon at a push? Any route is pretty much a high risk of Death Sentence, or early Death Sentence if we don't die when we're killed, bar miracles.

Then again, I suppose our ultimate wish as 'Kiyohime', is to be 'with' Anchin again, so if we can at least get 'that' wish earned well, then all the better.

And besides~, something akin to Otacon or Raiden route is 'easy mode' at a push, though Otacon would be a challenge with Sniper Wolf :p

Vote Locked. Metal Gear wins.

I'll update as soon as I refresh myself with the MGS1 and LDoFH timelines. Please note that, due to a combination of me not knowing Metal Gear as well as Nasu and LDoFH finishing before MGS4 came out, let alone Phantom Pain, there may be a few differences to both series. Escpesially in regards to Liquid and Mantis's relationship.

When in doubt just err on the side of LDoFH with some hints and references to being childhood friends

Personal er, is to at most take some 'ideas' from what could happen in MGS2/4/Raiden, and go from there. (Is now lightly tempted to imagine our Berserker against a Demi-Raiden fused with all the other Jackie Orphans.)

Yeah, assuming we get to Raiden, and assuming (bar Murphy) that there could be eventually more than one Servant in hand. I'd be gunning for the 'Jackie Raiden' :p

But that aside... you could always have Liquid learn to love the Fulton for his Army :p

Update 2
[X] In a world of Metal and Gears.

To be summoned from the Throne of Heroes is an odd experience.

The dull, monochrome world around Kiyohime seemed to fade into colour once again, but nowhere near as much as it had been before.

She was human again, now. What had happened at the end of her life, with her wrath spiralling out of control... It had been undone. She had been reborn.

Perhaps... Anchin had been reborn as well? He may have been a horrible person who broke her heart, but... She was not the draconic monster she had died as. She was... As she was.

Perhaps, when Anchin had been reborn, he had gone through something similar? Perhaps he was the kind priest who had called her beautiful and promised to return, not the monster who had betrayed her and abandoned her.

Opening her eyes to the world once more, Kiyohime looked at her Master.

It was Anchin. She was sure of it. He had to be. Why he was wearing a gas mask, Kiyohime wasn't sure, but it was unrecognisably him.

At the back of her mind, Kiyohime felt a psychic presence, trying to read her thoughts. Anchin was the only one here, so she let it in.

That was new, but if Anchin could read minds now, then it was good. She would be able to show him how much she loved him, and he would forgive her for killing him, and they could be together at last.

After a moment of reading her thoughts, Anchin turned away from her.

"Nope. Not touching that. Nu-uh. Not happening."

And with that, he began to levitate, and floated away, chanting "Nope Nope Nope" as he went.

Kiyohime frowned.

He... Was still upset about his death, wasn't he?

Yes, that would make sense. She had murdered him, after all. Even if he deserved it, he wouldn't just forgive it.

Perhaps she should just forget about him. The monochrome world without love was horrible, but if he wasn't going to love her anyway...

...What was she thinking! Leave Anchin, without even trying to make things work? No, she couldn't do that!

She could salvage things. Make Anchin realize how much he meant to her. And if that didn't work, she'd keep trying, until she met someone else, or it worked!

Nodding to herself, Kiyohime set off in pursuit of her Master.

"Ah, Anchin! Wait!"

Running after him, Kiyohime quickly realized that she had no idea which way Anchin went.

And for that matter, where was she?

The Servant looked around for a minute, getting a look at her surroundings.

She was in some sort of hallway, with windows to her left. Other then that, she couldn't tell.

As she looked around, someone began walking around the corner.

He was an old man, with a redish-brown trenchcoat and a white moustache. He was he, and was taking a sip when he turned the corner.

He stopped walking when he saw Kiyohime, and observed her for a second before he began to talk.

"A Servant, huh..." He mused, in a Russian accent. "Well, between the fact that you're the only Servant I can sense right now, and that you haven't torn my face off yet, I'm going to assume that you're the Servant that Mantis was meant to summon. Where is he, anyway?"

Kiyohime frowned. "Mantis?"

The man mirrored the Servants frown. "You... Did he seriously run off at the sight of you? I thought it was touching girls that was his problem, not... Well, never mind. Since you obviously didn't get to the point where he introduces himself, allow me to explain."

He gestured around him with his left arm, while keeping his right arm still.

"This place, here? Foxhound headquarters. Military task force. Your Master and I are both members."

He took a sip of his coffee, before he continued.

"Since you don't know any names, I'm Revolver Ocelot, and your Master is Psycho Mantis. A telepath, and a telekinetic."

Kiyohime muttered the names under her breath, nodding as she did so.

"No interruptions? Good. I hate to be interrupted when I'm in the middle of a monologue." Ocelot said. "Anyway, long story short, the United States Government seized a magical device a few decades back- The 'Holy Grail.' It summons Servants, such as yourself, and makes them fight for a wish, which is granted when all but one of the Servants are dead."

"I know how the Holy Grail works." Kiyohime replied. "It told me when I was summoned, when explaining the basics of the modern era."

Ocelot nodded. "Good. Won't have to go on for long. Anyway, as you can probably tell, the Holy Grail activated a while back. The United States doesn't want any of America's enemies to have a shot at the free wish, so we've been trying to summon all the Servants ourselves. Foxhound doesn't know who else has summoned a Servant, if anyone, but we know that you are one of the first- Psycho Mantis is the world's most powerful psychic, and one of the few people who can support a Servant without the Grail's help, without his own abilities suffering too much."

Ocelot took a sip of his coffee, and looked at Kiyohime again. "Though now that I think about it, aren't you a bit sane for a Berserker?"

Kiyohime smiled. "I suppose Anchin's presence is enough for me to retain my mind."

Ocelot blinked. "Anchin?"

"My Master." Replied the Berserker.

Ocelot looked like he was going to object, before his eyes started to shine. "Wait, Anchin... You wouldn't happen to be Kiyohime, would you?"

Oh, he had worked out her True Name. Perhaps she shouldn't call Anchin by his name in future, so that her enemies didn't do the same.

Bowing slightly, Berserker replied. "Yes, that would be me."

Ocelot didn't reply for a while. His eyes seemed to show him fantasizing about something, and his lips slowly twisted into a grin.

After a minute or so, Kiyohime cleared her throat. "Ocelot?"

The old man blinked, before remembering what was going on. "Oh, uh... Sorry, Kiyohime. You know how we old people are. Always getting distracted and stuff..."

Rubbing the back of his head, Ocelot continued. "Well, anyway, I was going to take you down to see the rest of Foxhound... But now that I think about it, you might want to see Anchin. What do you think?"

[X] Go meet Foxhound. Anchin will come to you when he is ready to see you.
[X] Go find Anchin. You have a lot to talk about~ ♥

I have no idea where this is going but I want to find out.

The guy who wants to burn down the planet because he hates humanity, and love especially has summoned a servant who's yandere for him.
Perfect!

Okay, poor Mantis. When he was but a Red Haired bishie, it was bad enough as a Child Soldier. But now?

Now, Foxhound, Anchin, Drag Anchin so he can give you an actually decent intro to Foxhound, drag Foxhound so they can properly introduce themselves to Anchin?

Meh, we're Kiyohime, shame we didn't got 'a' pick on the shenanigan Master, but in hindsight: makes sense.

We'll save Mantis from his misanthropy, with the power of love and EX-Ranked Noble Phantasm !

Honestly, the Phantasm will likely not trigger, bar some Crit Fail brohood display between him and Liquid. One could almost argue that her flaming past was so stronk that it traumatised him from ever touching it.

Then again, once True Heart is summoned, it will never go away~. And if he goes all worries over the sexsexsex mentality, we can always assure him that we merely love him with all our heart, and would not? Mind his chasity perhaps? Just... So long as we're pretty much with Anchin, instead of Anchin being with another bloody bitch who'd be nothing more than a Dragon meals on burns.
