Toy Box: Monstrous Monsters
[X] The Action figures store
-[x] Talk too Woody
--[x] "So, tied too a Rocket? That sounds like a story."
---[x] Climb atop Roxas Gigas for a ride on its shoulders. "All Aboard!"

"Let's check out the action figures store," you suggest, going around that way. "The army guys said that Rex was on the second floor, and… well, I doubt he's in the rest area." Looking at Woody, you ask, "So, tied to a rocket? That sounds like a story."

Woody chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, well, it's not one of my proudest moments, but let's just say it involved a certain space ranger with a bit too much faith in his wings."

Buzz crosses his arms, shooting a glance at Woody. "Wings that saved your life, might I add."

You smirk, listening as you all weave your way through towering shelves of action figures. "Sounds like there's more to this story."

"Oh, there's a lot more," Woody says, eyes glinting. "See, we were trying to get back to Andy, but Sid—the kid next door—had different plans. Next thing you know, I'm strapped to a rocket, and Buzz is strapped to me."

Donald raises an eyebrow. "And how exactly did you get out of that mess?"

Buzz steps in, a little proud. "That's where the wings came in."

Woody shakes his head with a grin. "Yeah, after you finally accepted you weren't a real space ranger."

You can't help but laugh. "Sounds like you guys have been through a lot together."

"More than I can count," Woody agrees. "But hey, we made it out, just like we will here."

You hop onto the shoulder of Roxas' Gigas, grinning as you settle in. "All aboard!" you shout, riding high as the two of you enter the action figures store.

The shelves are lined with brightly colored boxes showcasing Gigas models and another toy—a draconic figure called the Supreme Smasher, displayed in all its imposing glory. You take note of the massive claws and powerful stance on the box art, but before you can comment, you hear a faint thud in the distance.

"Rex!" Woody calls out, rounding the corner near the front display, hope in his voice.

"You sure you saw him?" Buzz asks, his laser arm already primed.

Woody nods. "Yes, he just—"

Suddenly, a low, rumbling roar echoes from behind the shelves. "Wait!" You shush them, holding up a hand. "Did you guys hear that?"

Goofy looks up, his brow furrowing. "Hmm, what's that over there?"

Behind some of the larger display boxes, you spot three cylindrical canisters.

"Something's not right," Buzz mutters, taking a defensive stance.

Without warning, the display boxes explode outward, revealing a massive red and white dinosaur-like toy with muscular arms, four powerful legs, and glowing yellow eyes that scream danger. A Heartless emblem glares at you from its neck.

"Another toy's been taken over!" you shout, summoning your Keyblade as the exit slams shut behind you with a loud clang, trapping you all inside.

Buzz points his laser straight at the creature, eyes narrowing. "If they wanted to play nice, they shouldn't have messed with my friends."

The Supreme Smasher growls. Before you can react, a second one lumbers out from behind the display, its jagged claws digging into the floor. Then, with a rumble to your right, a third appears, boxing you all in.

"Hey, Woody, lasso its leg!" you order the cowboy. "Let's topple it!"

"You got it!" He swings his rope at the Smasher standing atop the display, and it lassoes around its leg. Woody runs around the Supreme Smasher until all four of its legs are tied, then tosses it to Roxas, who pulls on the rope, sending the Smasher off the display and onto the floor.

[Woody: 13+2=15]

[Supreme Smasher 1: 5+3=8]

You duck under a blue beam from the second Smasher, only for Roxas to tackle it to the floor with his Gigas.

[Supreme Smasher 2: 9]

[Haru: 15]

Switching to Hero's Origin, you focus on the toppled Smasher, then unleash a Shotlock on it. An orb appears above your head, which scatters lightning in all directions—and all of it hitting the Smasher.

"Hey Lightyear, how about a little laser show, Donald, Thunder like never before!" you tell two of your other party members.

Buzz shoots at the downed toy with his laser, while Donald casts Thunder, again and again. The Smasher is bombarded by lightning bolts and lasers, and Goofy crashes into it with his shield.

The second Smasher that's battling Roxas lumbers over towards you all, then unleashes a dome of electricity from its canisters. However, you and the others get away from it in time.

[Supreme Smasher 2: 9]

[Party: 9]

Roxas tries punching the Smasher with his Gigas, but it parries with its claws, growling at him.

[Roxas: 7+3=10]

[Supreme Smasher 2: 9+3=12]

Woody, on the other hand, successfully topples the Smasher, allowing Roxas to focus on the one in the back.

[Woody: 11+2=13]

[Supreme Smasher 2: 7+3=10]

You switch back to Fairy Stars and do another Shotlock, causing bolts of magic themed after Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather to pelt the toppled Smasher. Meanwhile, Donald and Buzz repeat what they did for the last one, bringing it down.

The final Smasher tries clawing at Roxas, but he jumps away from the controlled toy.

[Supreme Smasher 3: 5+3=8]

[Roxas: 8]

You turn the corner to where they're facing off, and since you don't have it in you for another Shotlock, you start casting Fire on the Smasher, nonstop.

[Haru: 12+3+1=15]

[Supreme Smasher 3: 2]

"Let's team up!" says Woody, and you nod. A rocket appears out of nowhere, one that you and Buzz both jump on, which flies towards the Smasher. It pinwheels at the toy, somersaulting and launching it, then you all jump off the rocket, which flies right into the Smasher and explodes.

A fourth Supreme Smasher then crashes down behind you, roaring, and you groan. "Come on, really?" You glance at Woody, Donald, and Buzz. "You know the drill."

Before you can do anything, however, you hear Rex screaming as he rides in on a toy airplane, crashing right into the draconic toy. When he does, a Heartless that resembles a puppet bumps into the shelf behind it, which Rex lands on. "Jump!" you tell Rex, and he scrambles off the Heartless before you incinerate it with Fire.

"Nice moves, Rex," Woody says, sighing with relief.

"That was great!" agrees Goofy.

"Great? Really?" Rex asks with wide eyes. "Would you say I was impressive?"

Buzz nods. "Very impressive, Rex. We couldn't look away."

"Hooray! Oh, that makes me so happy!" Rex glances at you. "Were you watching, too? Did you see what I did?" He goes off on an enthusiastic tangent.

"Listen, Rex, would ya—earth to Rex," Woody speaks up, stopping the dinosaur.

"Do you know where Hamm and the aliens are?" you ask him, trying to get back on topic.

Rex tilts his head. "Whaddya mean? Did something bad happen?"

Fortunately, you see Sarge climbing down the shelves from an open vent.

"Sarge, have you got a status report?" calls Woody.

"Sir! One of my men just located Hamm upstairs, in the doll store," says Sarge.

"Oh, I'll go wait where there aren't any more of those monsters," Rex adds, waddling off towards the rest area.

Toy Box: Air Vent Passage
[X] Take the vent up too the Doll store
-[x] Go looking for loot, always important too see if you can find anything.

Reluctantly, Roxas climbs out of the Gigas, his expression betraying a hint of disappointment as he leaves the machine behind. "I was just getting used to piloting it," he mutters.

"Don't worry," you say, patting him on the back. "There'll be plenty more stuff to smash."

As the group heads towards the shelf labeled Beasts and Bugs, Woody looks up at the vent. "This brings back memories of sneaking around Sid's house. Only back then, I wasn't crawling through air ducts."

"You sure you weren't a spy toy in a past life?" jokes Goofy.

You all hoist yourselves up the shelf and into the vent, the metal walls echoing your footsteps. The passage is pretty narrow, forcing everyone in single file. It's dark, and the dim light filtering in through small grates makes it feel tighter.

"Not much room for a fight in here, huh?" Roxas comments, his voice bouncing off the walls.

Donald grumbles, "I'd rather not get stuck fighting in a place like this."

You glance back. "Good thing I don't need a Gigas to handle Heartless."

"Yeah, we saw how you handled yourself earlier," Buzz quips, his skepticism from earlier still lingering in his tone. "But just remember, we toys are used to tight spaces like these."

"I did notice," you admit. "Still, I can't say this place makes me feel any better."

Goofy nods. "Feels kinda like one of those movies where somethin' jumps outta the dark."

Everyone pauses for a moment, glancing around, but Woody chuckles, easing the tension. "Heh. We're in a ventilation shaft. Nothing's sneaking up on us. Besides, we've got a great crew here."

"Except for the guy behind me!" Donald retorts.

Roxas shrugs, offering a sheepish grin. "It's not my fault the vent is this small…"

Woody smirks. "Hang tight, fellas."

As you continue through the vent, you soon find loot, strangely enough—a glowing red orb. "A materia?" you whisper. "Here?" You pick it up. It resembles the one that Yuffie used to summon Ixion and Aerith for Shiva, so you say, "Wonder what kinda badass thing this'll summon?"

Obtained Summon Materia!

Either way, you continue until you reach a large store with pink pastel wallpaper, and dolls and plushies dotting the shelves. "This is Babies and Toddlers," says Woody.

Buzz scans the room, his laser arm twitching. "Not exactly the place for a grand adventure, huh?"

"Well, something tells me the Heartless aren't above hiding in cribs," you reply, chuckling to ease the tension, but there's a strange quiet that lingers in the air.

As you move deeper into the store, the group passes towering cribs, pastel-colored blocks, and shelves stacked with rows of plushies and dolls. Something about the way they're positioned almost feels like they're watching you.

"Huh… what's that?" Goofy asks, pointing toward the back of the store.

Through a set of displays, you spot a massive, ornate dollhouse at the center of the aisle. It looks almost like a mansion, with intricate details and little windows that seem to glow from the inside.

"I'll be," says Woody. "Looks like one of those dream homes for dolls."

But there's something off—through one of the windows, you catch a glimpse of something pink and round wedged awkwardly inside.

"Wait a minute… Is that—?" Roxas squints, moving closer.

You rush ahead and look inside the dollhouse. Sure enough, wedged into the living room of the tiny house, is none other than Hamm, pressed against the walls, looking like he's stuck between a couch and a tiny plastic dining table.

"Hamm!" you exclaim.

"Oh, finally! Took you long enough," Hamm calls back, his voice muffled by the tiny walls.

[X] Get on guard, this is the moment a heartless shows up to attack you

--[x] Get ready to test out your new summon

You glance at Woody and Buzz. "I'll bet you anything a Heartless will try jumping us. You get the dollhouse open—" Fairy Stars flashes into your hand with a soft glow— "while we stay on guard."

Woody doesn't hesitate, lassoing the latch on the dollhouse. The feeling of being watched hasn't diminished—if anything, it's intensified. It's as though the entire store has its gaze fixed on you, the rows of plushies and dolls standing eerily still, their glassy eyes unblinking. However, there's no sound of any Heartless spawning, nor have any of the plushies started acting up like the Supreme Smashers did when they were possessed.

Your mind drifts back to the time you and Pence explored the Seven Wonders of Twilight Town together, laughing about haunted dolls. Fortunately, they had all been hoaxes—except the last one. The girl in the mansion window, who turned out to be Naminé, was the only wonder you couldn't laugh off. And there was still that eighth mystery with the shaking trees… another Heartless you never quite pinned down.

The dollhouse creaks as Woody pulls the door open, and Hamm finally trots out, the sound of coins jingling as he shakes himself off. "Talk about cabin fever. Thanks for the save," he says with a huff.

"You okay, Hamm?" Woody asks, looking his friend up and down.

"Yeah, aside from being locked up in there, the accommodations were fine—though kinda cramped for my taste."

Just as Hamm's about to crack another joke, a sudden shadow looms over you all.

It's a doll that resembles and is about the size of a young human girl, with curled dark blue hair with bangs, dull gold eyes that seem lifeless, yet aware, a black Victorian-style dress with white lining, and a white bunny hood, with the unmistakable Heartless emblem on the left rabbit ear.

"She's back! That's the doll that pig-penned me!" squeals Hamm, backing away while the cork on his underbelly pops out, causing coins to spill out beneath him.

"Hamm, take cover," orders Woody.

Hamm nods. "Uh, copy that! One stay in the dread-and-breakfast is enough for me!" He puts the cork back in and scrambles off, not looking back.

"Not another possessed toy…" comments Buzz, shaking his head.

The doll, Angelic Amber, takes a step forward, her dead eyes locking onto you, and for a moment, you swear the temperature drops again. Her shadow seems to stretch across the room, and the eerie, almost mechanical way she moves only adds to the tension.

"Get ready, guys!" you call out.

Possessed Doll
ANGELIC AMBER

"Alrighty, let's give you a whirl!" you exclaim, holding up the glowing red materia, and the name appears in your head… "Chocobo and Moogle!"

There's a poof of cartoony white smoke, and large yellow bird, about your size, lands in front of you. It has long legs and short wings, and on its back is a Moogle striking a dramatic pose. "Kweh!" it calls, while the Moogle cheers.

Buzz raises an eyebrow, glancing from you to the bird. "Is this thing supposed to help?"

You've learned from experience—no matter how goofy a summon seems, it's never something to underestimate. Genie had proved that time and again on your first journey, showing up when you needed him most: against the Grim Reaper, that Dream Eater in Twilight Town, even during your showdown with Maleficent. It was always the same. Appearances could be deceiving, and in the heat of battle, those lighthearted, seemingly harmless summons were more powerful than they let on.

This encounter will be just like that bird Heartless that kidnapped Alice, the Nightmare, the Behemoth after it went zombie, the Gashadokuro, and the Thorned Snake—like those bosses, Angelic Amber is outside your meta knowledge. No predictions. No foresight.
