Just...Shut up.

Turns out, working full time now that I'm out of school takes more time than I realized. Anyway, now we find out if not taking your medicine was the correct choice!

Your grip on the Nurse's cot tightens. Objectively, you understand that the mental health field and your...special case in particular probably requires some amount of dumb luck to navigate.

Subjectively, he wants to submit you to another round of Nightmares.

---
...

You grimace as Steve and Greg begin scraping back their places inside your mind. You're not sure what Greg will be like, but when Steve gets back he'll probably force a fight as soon as he's conscious.

"No."

You need to get out of here, not that you had any inclination to be here to begin with. Moreover, you would rather deal with two Steves than suffer another eternity of torture inside a Nightmare.

The Nurse frowns. "That's not exactly what I wanted to hear. Now, I can't force you to take your pills, but I want you to know that I really do want the best for you. If you show up to checkups regularly and I don't hear about anymore episodes, I think I can stand to leave you alone. Whaddya say?" He leans in and gives a little conspiratorial wink, like he wasn't giving you a health-based ultimatum.

You shift a bit on the cot, trying to bite back an appropriately snarky response before settling on a clenched-teeth, "Thank you."

The old Nurse smiles, either unaware or otherwise unbothered. "Great! Now, let's see about those forms..."

...ster...

You clutch your head while the Nurse's back is turned, feeling your residents stirring more and more. There's a tense moment as you leave his office where he catches you grimacing, but you don't hear him call out after you.

Back in the waiting room, Maria catches you immediately. As the day grows darker, there is less and less people in the sterile beige room inside the Administration building. You notice that, although there were not a great many people in this room to begin with, the waiting room is now void of everyone except the tw-FOUR-o of you. Even the receptionist is gone.

"Hey...Sorry about tricking you like that. I did need some of that paperwork though." Maria smiles nervously. You fork over the papers to her without saying a word, trying not to let her know how much your head is pounding.

"...I'm sorry. Are you mad?" She says, looking away from your eyes as shuffles her feet guiltily.

You respond by...

[x] Shaking your head and smiling though the pain. "Nonsense, and don't we have some paperwork to do?"
[x] Giving her a level stare and attempt to keep your head from exploding. Not an actual threat, if you were worried.

[x] Shrugging, "I just...want to lie down in my room. The Nurse gave me new meds..."
[x] Write-In

For the record, you did guess 'Correctly'. The other choice would've defaulted to the third option and the Nightmare scene.

This'l be the game where we balance daily life with fighting our personalities, isn't it.

I'll see if I can't get an update tonight or tomorrow. I don't think I'll have to lock votes, but if you happened to be holding back, now's the time to say something.
