End of Day 1
I go straight home after getting the memo and the information about Stands. I spend the night spending time with my family. Talking, watching TV, eating dinner, talking about my... "vacation" and about my new friend Jotaro. Considering that I met him yesterday and barely knew the guy, I may have had to talk... liberties when talking about him.
Granted, mom and dad know that Jotaro and I just met and, as far as they know, we bonded over saving a guy's life. But I still had to say something about him. And I may or may not have panicked when trying to decided what to tell mom and dad about Jotaro and said that...
[] He once swallowed an entire pack of cigarettes on a dare.
[] His dream is to be a comedian.
[] He has an irrational fear or rats.
[] He once walked into a Christian church and burst into flames.
[] He tattoo of a starfish on his back. Not a star, that's just a birthmark. But a starfish.
[] He once broke a window with his hat. This one I'm pretty sure is actually true.
[] Write in.
I... just hope that my parents don't bring it up when they meet him.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After dinner, I go to my room and start packing for the trip. Soap, toothpaste, mouthwash, extra clothes, a little bit of makeup, a few copies of Pink Dark Boy. it's almost like I'm actually going on vacation instead of killing a two hundred vampire.
Then again, what exactly am I supposed to pack? From what Steel said, UV rays could kill vampires, but that isn't exactly the kind of thing I can just buy. Garlic wouldn't work either. In some American works, vampires can be repelled by crosses or rivers but Steel says neither of those things work either.
I guess I just have to pack that ointment that Mom gave me and hope for the best...
Time passes as I sit on the floor, stuffing different items in my suitcase, thinking about the day too come. Tomorrow, once my parents dropped me off at Jotaro's place, there was no turning back. I'm going to be committed to a fight that I had nothing to do with.
As I think about the journey I'm about to be a part of. I think...
[] I have to do this. If I don't do anything, then Dio will destroy me eventually.
[] I wonder what kinds of things my Stand can do...
[] I just wanted a quiet life. Why did I have to be the one to get mixed up in this?
[] ...I don't know if I can go through with this journey.
[] I wonder if what kinds of Stand Users I'll have to fight.
[] Do I really have it in me to kill?
[] Well, at least if I make it through this alive, everything else will be easy by comparison.
[] Write in.
