I find it extremely funny to imagine a person who genuinely believes this.

"Worry not, this is no imposter. Indeed, I replaced his soul piece by piece and so now you have two husbands! What? Why wouldn't you want two? You said you love him so what's the problem here?"

Also, personally, I support the custom afterlife agenda. He isn't taking advantage of her, this is literally true!

Perhaps unwise to be this blatant about it... but when we were selecting characters, we deliberately picked the least wise Liche Priest.
 
A museum needs (willing?) visitors and ours is supposed to glorify Lutr, so I'm voting for the option that might attract asur tourists and those that have historic significance to Luthor (his first ship) or can be contextualise his genius (wet gunpowder).

We are meant to display the glory of Lutr after all. What better than with his own ship?

Also, if we're getting animals from the princess, displaying exotic animals in the very boats matching the lands they come from seems very appropriate.

I don't think we are a tempter. We just happily teach eager students. I think this is what we most want. We have no interest in being the power behind the throne, or preying on a poor woman's grief. We want to display knowledge to the world, and maybe get in touch with other academics for more stimulating conversation and other possible students.

Give this answer to tempt the Princess into seeking from you the same thing Luthor is: prestige, legitimacy, and the favour of the rabble. The Elves consider Fuming Serpent and Spitting Serpent under their control, so a museum on Fire Serpent would not be impossible to justify as being under the Citadel of Dusk's patronage. This will allow you to work the most openly with the Princess, and might gain you access to Ulthuan's academic and antiquarian circles.

Not the best Lever, but I am sure that our character is not going to fail as a tutor. He is a really good one, most of his pupils were or are great!

Knowledge for its own sake is not a fulcrum that exists within the Princess. She might value it in the abstract, but here and now she has very specific concerns and only a few very specific kinds of knowledge can help her with them.

Prestige makes clear what we're actually looking to do. It might give us an in to getting some elven pieces to put on display. Grief seems a bit out of character, coming on too hard, and probably something that a liche priest is a little leery of promising after what happened the last time.
