[X] Travel: Arc Length: Variable. Finish your walk through Central Park and then… who knows? Its time to see world through new eyes. [Pull on a random Marvel plot thread (choose in a separate poll), interacts with ????] (Automatically locks you out of Iron Man 3).
[X] Stark Tower. Arc Length: Short. Spend the next several months in Stark Tower. Interact with Stark and Banner and assist in New York recovery.
I think this is the most interesting. Traveling seems cool but like it's an interesting arc to see someone get powers and then use them to help a city recover. Especially an outsider.
And here we are, 24 hours later. With the current Vote count at:
[] Stark Tower. Arc Length: Short. Spend the next several months in Stark Tower. Interact with Stark and Banner and assist in New York recovery. - 46
[] Shield Training. Arc Length: Medium. Spend the next six months training with SHIELD. Includes interactions with Barton, Romanov, and Rogers (Automatically locks you out of Iron Man 3). - 0
[] Travel: Arc Length: Variable. Finish your walk through Central Park and then… who knows? Its time to see world through new eyes. [Pull on a random Marvel plot thread (choose in a separate poll), interacts with ????] (Automatically locks you out of Iron Man 3).- 17
No one want's to be a SHIELD agent huh?
Oh well, open offer. Now normally there'd be another 24 hours, but at this point its pretty clear.
Stark whistled. "Man, you really did a number of this place."
You looked at the combination of parts and Chitauri corpses splattered across the floor of Stark Towers basement and winced. "In my defence, it was… mostly the Chitauri?"
He snorted, "Sure." Stark walked over to one of the alien corpses and poked it with his foot. "Those look like electrical burns, what the hell caused that?"
"One of them threw a grenade at the Reactor and some kind of energy barrier blocked it."
Stark's grin practically oozed smugness. "Ha! How about that, not bad for a prototype. Good to know the reversal works too…" His eyes widened. "Wait, weren't you in the room?"
"Yes." You resisted the urge to shudder from the sheer pain that memory invoked. "It stung like a bitch by the way."
"Right," Stark drawled. "That's what I was going for." Stepping over the Chitauri, Stark moved to the nearby console. His fingers blurring across the keyboard he called out, "Jarvis, how's the reactor look?"
"Unknown sir," said a voice from the ceiling. "All basement sensors are currently disabled. May I recommend that you fix that before running further diagnostics?"
"No that's boring." He looked over his shoulder. "Oh right, you haven't met yet. Jack meet Jarvis, my AI."
An AI? You spread out your senses, scanning the electronics around you with a new light. Interesting.
"Hey Jack, you wanna use your techno-wizardry to get a feel for the reactor?"
You shrugged. "Sure, why not."
Stepping up to the rails, you raise your hands to the reactor and try to feel out the energy. A minute later you lower your hands and shake your head. "It's working, but I can't really get a feeling on how much energy it has other than immeasurable."
"Fine, boring way it is then." He typed some more on the keyboard. "Hmmm, looks good. Reserves are down by a third. I'm gonna need to shut it down for a few hours to run some diagnostics but it should be all good. The backup power can handle the load in the meantime."
"You're not going to check the energy shield?"
"Not while we're in here. I need the sensors running otherwise I might accidently set it off." Stark ignored your look. "Yes seriously. It's a prototype." He said if things regularly exploding was par for the course with prototypes. Though in Stark's defence that was probably true.
"Alright. Whatever you say Stark."
Stark shut down the console. The Arc Reactor let out a final hum before going quiet, the blue energy trickling away.
"Jarvis what's our ETA." Stark asked.
"4 hours."
Stark nodded. "I'm gonna head to the labs. Don't wait up for me." He turned to you. "You coming?"
You shook your head. "Not today." You wanted to do some testing of your own before you started screwing around with your power in Stark's lab. Your gaze travelled back to the floor, still littered with alien remains and loose parts. "Shouldn't we clean this up?"
Stark shrugged. "Some SHIELD guys are coming in to take care of it."
You nodded. "Okay." Probably best to leave it to the experts.
Stepping into the elevator, Stark asked, "What are you going to do today?"
You took one last good look at the Arc Reactor, if you have your way, you'll never see this room again.
You turned away and followed Stark.
Pressing a button for the ground floor on the elevator you shrugged. "I'm sure I can find something to do."

[] Assist in the clean-up
New York has suffered a lot of damage, enough that any pair of hands would be welcomed. Suit up and go assist with the clean-up, and grab some sweet Chitauri loot. Though it's unlikely you'll be able to acquire much with government groups watching the area with a fine-toothed comb.

Alright here we are. I got this done quicker than I thought. First time doing a CK2 style chapter so hopefully it turned out alright. Now as always, there this a 2-hour MORATORIUM on Votes. DO NOT VOTE FOR 2 HOURS!
Also only votes in a plan will be counted. PLEASE VOTE IN A PLAN (when its open)

It's pretty close, so i'm going to give it until I get back from work before I close.
Aw man we don't need to check up on those wizards right now. The Ancient One can take care of herself, but we need to get strong fast. Looting the aliens first will do us better. We can check up on them magic users later.

Nobody cares about checking up on them to make sure their alright. That's not even what the options about in the first place. It's about initiating contact with one of the most powerful magic organizations on the planet. So we can potentially learn their magic as well.
Sure we could go for the short term low level power up that 'Assist in the clean-up' could bring. But the long term potential of the wizards vastly outweighs it. And since every plan that even has a chance is incorporating 'Salvage Battle Zones' we are getting stronger regardless.
