This is presumably what had the samurai originally on the run to the point where a bunch of bandits could take them on. Getting righteous vengeance seems pretty honorable therefor, its not like the owners just left them lying around and we happened to stumble upon them.
Its for the best if we let the bandits and Gaki wear each other down for a couple rounds, we need both sides dead after all. Besides these guys were willing to charge a super Gaki because they thought it had killed Kaze, awkward questions will be had if we both manage to survive this and they notice that we're currently wearing Kaze's daisho. We've already showed Courage tonight by deciding to take on a decently armed group of bandits on our lonesome, let's not choke up here at the finish line.

Probably, but given our relative skills, odds are the Gaki, if smart, would go after the easier to kill bandits first before rounding on us.

Depends on the target and whether or not you stole them. Hitting the monstrous ball of death is glorious combat against the enemies of Rokugan. And so far you are just reclaiming them from the bodies of the people who stole them with the intention of getting them back.

Good plan in general, but one cant move while in Center stance (with the exception of a duel with lunging at the enemy)

Sorry, didnt catch that. I think every other stance (defense, full defense, attack, full attack) allows for movement of a sort except center stance. Attack stance is the default with no penalties/bonus to attack/defense.

Throwing a wakizashi seems a little absurd to me, and given how we were told earlier that 'a man's sword is like his soul' disrespecting the swords of the deceased (by hurling them like they're some kind of kunai) seems offensive.

I just find it hilarious that andy- the guy who's deliberately voted to throw our sword at our foes every time it's come up has finally somehow garnered support again just by changing the phrasing some and advocating we throw other people's swords. It's still just as fucking useless as it was then, and even if we don't lose honour for doing so we're still wasting time and running the risk we hit one of the bandits.

How about this as a mechanical argument that its stupid.
Throwing is an agility/athletics complex action for a 2k2 dr. It is in everyway inferior to just swinging a katana at this Gaki except for the fact that we can do it from a distance.
Since we have meatsheilds now I don't think that distance even means much to us.

This cant be stressed enough in Legend of the 5 Rings SWORDS ARE THE FRIKING SOULS OF SAMURAI.
Meaning that if we throw one of the other wakizashi we are quite literally THROWING SOMEONES SOUL AND THIS WOULD BE DISRESPECTING THE DEAD, which in L5R is really bad for your honor. Not to mention the possibility of vengeful ghosts.

No. Those are the wakizashi of Samurai which the bandits stole after murdering said Samurai. Samurai which, at least one of, was of our Clan.
