So...

After thinking about it, I decided to put this quest on hold for a month. Just can't get into it, you know? I'm sorry it's at a crucial moment but my muse is dragging me elsewhere.

So, see you guys in a month.

Hey Kid, want some candy?
OH SHIT!

I knew I should have checked the date! Dammit!

Uh... Here you go?

Most story's are simple. A hero and a bad guy fight from beginning to end. O'course we can't have the good guys loosing, so the bad guys always lose. No matter the consequences.

It's quite a thing really. Some are resigned to their fate. Some are redeemed. In the end, does it ever really matter? It's the journey that matters, not the destination. And this is your story kid. So enjoy the journey, it's the only thing you can do now.

So how did you begin? Well it all began when another's story began...

The town was really a simple place, perfect for the beginnings of a hero. O'course we both know that ain't you, so in a way, you're world got turned upside down by this.

The god's were smiling on someone else that day kid, you weren't supposed to survive kid. Your world burned around you, raining down to ashes. The dead welcome you with open arms, but you weren't the dead. Not yet, anyways.

Smoke blackened the skys as you fall to your knees resigned to your fate. The world you had so loved was gone, better you go with it. You're not important. Not important at all...

Who decided that? The gods, they always decide everything. You might as well get used.

Speaking of the gods, a bright light pierces through the sky and a holy sword fit for a hero descends. You stare in awe, but it lands in someone else's hands. It was an evil, one of the greatest in the world. Disguised as something good, they who commit deserve to pushed into oblivion.

It was a Deus Ex Machina.

You couldn't recognize him, but he must have been the same age as you. They always are.

You need to make a choice here kid. One that'll affect how the story goes. O'course you could just go and end the story right now, but where's the fun in that?

Day's coming kid, hurry up.

[] Take the sword for yourself. The god's have abandon you on this day. You're not going down without a fight.
[] Resign to your fate. It burns...
[] End the story. NO MORE! NO MORE!

So... is that describing how the sword is the evil in disguise, or is that about the other guy instead?

Let's hope I actually have time for this, or even my own stuff!

Rage aginst the Heavens! We shall crush those so-called gods and usher the age of-

Wait, isn't Kibo tbe one who's supposed to be the Hero? And didn't we just fight off the influence of something that wanted us to act like a Hero and save the girl and stuff?

With that in mind, taking the Hero's Sword feels like a supremely bad idea, but letting that thing fall into a "Hero's" hands doesn't seem good either.

And this is all some kind of Dream Sequence Bullshit anyway, so what are the consequences of our choices here beyond some nebulous subconscious thing? Are we actually remembering the past and witnessing the Rise of the Demon Lord?

Screw it, I'll vote to take the blade anyway. If anything, it'll certainly be interesting.
