This episode once more made me realize how big Machi is compared to her fellow Demi, due to being shown alongside everyone else - she's a head or two bigger at the least
Felt kinda sorry for Sato being asked to hug everyone on his first 'talk about Demi issues' meeting, and the request from succubi-lady and Machi's body just got awkward. Particularly Machi, for both parties judging by her reaction once Sato fled.
Seems next episode focuses on the yuki-onna girl some more, which'll be nice. I want to know more about her issues, those demi-related ones she mentioned, and how it relates to her being a bit distant from her fellows. Perhaps her low body temp - the 'cold to the touch' aspect Hikari loves so much - makes touching people awkward, so she doesn't do it much?
...But no, JPN society doesn't do hugs much in general, I believe. Hm.
So of course, Hikari and Kyoko both have to be the touchy-feely type. I think Satou may be as well, but she can't express it for the obvious reasons. Yuki... we'll find out about her after her issues are dealt with.
That being said, why bite through the clothes? I'd rather the vampire slobber my hand than my shirt, since it's easier to wash. Or could it be that Hikari would be unable to control herself?

Biting through clothes hurts/pinches less, but it's still satisfying. Actually, in fact, the cloth texture often makes the biting more satisfying.

Interesting that Yuki generates ice and mist when she's nervous, but in hindsight it makes sense - whenever we saw her generating cold, it was due to negative emotions of some sort (well, barring the bath, but we didn't know her thoughts then). Also interesting it's less 'turn water to ice' and more 'literally make ice from nowhere' as an effect, and I kinda want to study it and find out why it's happening.
Alas, with Sensei failing to get a sample that sure won't be happening
Can anyone explain the name discussion they had on the rooftop to me? I don't quite follow what was going on there, barring that first names are considered close friends/family only things in Japan (and possibly Asian countries generally?), making Yuki and Machi surprised Sensei called the vamp girl by hers casually. Why'd he say her name a few different ways to demonstrate to Yuki and Machi, though?
I have no fucking idea why, maybe it's the meds (I'm on ADD medication now. Weird side effect: Instead of having a mental commentary I just mutter them now, weird.) but I found the last fucking joke fucking hilarious. Somehow I was still laughing throughout the ED and my mouth's pretty dry right now. (I'm still chuckling at it too dear lordie.)
But anyways, like I hoped, the anime made me appreciate Kusakabe more and I do genuinely care for her now. That's the thing with this show, it's making me care for most of the entire cast like this:
Iunno maybe because it's we're seeing them through the lens of a teacher but I do legit want to see them do well in life, even though they aren't real.
Also Hikari biting Himari like a fucking corn cob was...not the image I had in mind while reading it. Not to mention the speed she says nom I thought it was like nom nom but this was nomX100. There are some animation goofs here and there (Though none nearly as bad as Hikari's three legs due to bad shading.) but it's still fine.
That fucked with me for a bit because I thought Machi was her first name, not Kyouko. oh great two best girls with the same name Anyways I think it's kinda like this in a way:
"Salutations Mr. Mizu."
"Greetings Mr. Private Lee O'Malley"
"Hey Mizu!"
"Hello Lee!"
"YO HOW'S MY FAVORITE BITCH DOIN'"
"DOIN' WELL, CUNT"
Something like that maybe? Just showing off what the attitude/tone is like using the different names.
Also off topic ish but doesn't Guts suffer the same problem as Kusakabe? in that their best friends betrayed them Like he barely/doesn't have any sweat glands at all which causes him to overheat in his armor or something.

I don't know of that ever coming up anywhere in the manga. Guts has enough problems regularly fighting demons, and then fighting to keep from losing his mind to the Berserker Armor later on.
To my knowledge he's never had that problem. But he does suffer from murder-rape tendencies as a result of his inner darkness beginning to manifest itself.

Actually I know that because my dog loves to play bite. She's very gentle about it though when it's just my bare hand and it's fine. However, being a dog, her breath reeeeeekkks so not wanting that smell on my hands, I use a blanket. She's smart in that when I play with her using the blanket, she bites harder because she knows it won't hurt at all so she doesn't have to limit herself too much. So it's satisfying for her, not me though.
However because you said that I have tried it right now. I now have a wet bite mark on my sleeve, thanks, Feng.
