I don't really get why people want to reboot from the start of the episode, I mean all of it was good until the last chapter which was kinda 'meh'. I'd rather just retcon that to be honest.

I think they want to go for another option instead of the Dual Mask Route.

Too bad though.
 
It's a matter of how you read 'can do what was last written better' I guess. I read it as 'those written while I'm busy with school.'
So, retcon just the last is a sound reason as well.

Looks like it is going to be between reboot or retcon.
(I'm assuming the people who wanted to continue would prefer a post retcon to a ep2 reboot, making the total possibly 36 to 34.)
