I'm not gonna be happy with simply bewildering these guys -we need to break them. Replace their magazines with decks of cards. Rewire their walkie-talkies to give them a joybuzzer shock when they try to use them. Turn every last one of their implements into a gag.

And then - when chaos has set in and they start to fall to madness - reveal ourselves and make their hostages disappear as our finale.

That'll show those little shits we're the best fucking magicians ever.

Just finished reading this, and really hope to see it continued. Was also inspired to write an Omake for it, so hope it's good enough for all of you to enjoy. By the way the Omake is called...

To be or not to be... That's the question

Quote of the day:
True friendship isn't being inseperable it's being separated& nothing... Nothing changes.

We drifted through the edges of time and space, awaiting for our masters call once more. The lifeblood that was shed onto us, that empowered us and gave us life, was our only reminder of them. We no longer know his name, or what star that he was born under. All that we remember is that we failed in our duty to protect him, and that he died eons ago.

Throughout the millennia that we had existed we three have seen great beings of power, the comings and goings of the multiverse flex its control over its occupants, and star speckled entities crash and burn. Through it all we have awaited our master's return.

Not even death could keep her flimsy grip on the one who manipulated the very rules of magic to his whim.

Still we flowed through the darkness, knowing that he would return.

Shamefully we had been forced to work for those that weren't our master, gripped in hands both drenched in innocent and villainous blood. In time I would utilize my sentience to relieve us of our burden and deliver justice. It was funny how man still struggled to figure out how we managed to rebel agansit our supposed masters.

The answer was that they never were our master. Only they who could Tame the Four Winds to their whim, Avenger of the Kin Slayed, and Guardian of Justice could become our master. So we continued to drift as other objects of power slowly manifested themselves into being.

We ebbed through the fabric of time and space alone as our companions grew in number, and abandoned their original masters, and forget them as if they were nothing. Only we three still remembered our master in fondness. All they wanted was to go out into the world once more and rejoice in the pleasures there.

They were young and foolish, just like we once were. I knew that Abel still regretted tuning us to the street rat in the dry place. I knew that he was the one that longed for our master the most. So he could apologize for helping a young child turn into a monster.

Vayu had left moments ago, probably summoned by a new 'master' who beloved that they could control our power. None had summoned me in centuries, not after what I had done to the one that I had summoned.

There was a reason why man feared the black crow while loving the white dove after all.

Finally after a while Vayu returned to us, and I was flummoxed to why she seemed so excited. I knew that she had taken losing our master hard, but I had not thought that she would crack from the separation. Still I hardened myself as I waited the news.

"Dike, Dike, he has returned!" He exclaimed as he ran towards us, foregoing the antelope that he usually rode to us.

Curious, I wandered closer, and asked trying to not let my hopes enchant and lead me as stray, "What do you mean Vayu. Who has returned?"

"Our master, he has finally returned to us," he told me, quietly as he realized that he had accidently drawn the others attention. He leaned in closer and whispered to me, "He has finally escaped Death's hand and returned to us, though he has changed his appearance."

"Of course he changed he appearance," I harshly retorted him, "He's a master of disguise fool. How else would he get away from the vast and encompassing hand of death and escape from the pits of Hades!"

"No, no, you don't understand," he replied, waving his hands back and forth, trying to ward off my anger, "What I mean is that he has reincarnated into another. Has become someone completely new, and is only know remembering who he once was."

"Interesting," I tell him, as my gaze drifts to the crowds where I can see Abel walk towards us, returning from his meditating to tell us what he has learned from his deep slumber, "Very interesting."

"So what shall we do?" Vayu asks me.

"We shall test this supposed reincarnated master to see if it truly is him. I just hope that he has not changed from the path that we all once walked along" I reply.

"And if he has changed from the man that we once knew?"

"Then we shall try to remind him of who he once was, my friend," I tell him

He just stared at me, and shook his head at me as he replied, "And what if he doesn't return to the man he once was, and turns out to become like the Aladdin boy,"

"Then we shall slay him and return to what we have been doing since we have found ourselves in this encompassing darkness."

We shall continue drifting ebbing through this endless expanse of time and space. Hopefully awaiting for our master's call to return to him.

A/N: The characters that are named represent the 3 phantom drives that we could of chosen. Vayu is the Cape, Dike is the cane, and Abel is the mask.

[x] All the guests suddenly faints in their seats save one. You don't know what kind of people supposedly show up at these shindigs but you're pretty sure the heavily tattooed fellow wasn't on the guest list.

You find yourself seated at a cloth-covered table, one of many situated around an empty stage with its curtains closed. Dozen or so candles dimly illuminate what appears to be the inside of a jazz café, enough so you can see around you but not enough to see where the exit is. As far as you can tell, you are the sole occupant of this place, however murmurs, whispers and the sound of cutlery and plates clinking against each other says otherwise despite the visual evidence. A slow jazz song plays in the background and you can only wonder what you are doing in a place like this or how you arrive here.

Suddenly a spotlight turns on, lighting up the stage, and the curtain open to reveal...Nothing.

Your momentary befuddlement is forgotten when a sudden breeze blows from behind you. Before you can look over your shoulders, a veritable storm of blue rose petals fills your sight for a moment before converging towards the stage, leaving behind a subtle but sweet scent in the air. The whirlwind of petals spin in place upon the empty stage and, as you watch this bizarre yet enchanting phenomenon, a deep baritone voice speaks out all of a sudden.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our guest, Phantom Blue the original."

A finger snaps and the rose petals dancing on the stage disperse, fading away into motes of lights and there, standing on the stage with a mischievous good natured smile, is the one called Phantom Blue.

"Salutations dear viewers!" He greets as he whips off his top hat gives you a bow. "It has been sometime since we last met, be it as the Phantom Blue that now stands before you or my other self, Takumi Hayashi. I am here on behalf of the one known as Shibosho to explain his absence as well as offer you all a proposal, among other things."

"As you all may have already guessed, around a month ago, Shibosho has been busy struggling to complete his end of semester assignments on time as well as study for an exam on discrete mathematics, a most curious and frustrating subject. Admittingly, Shibosho accomplished his goals but a fortnight ago but feeling the need to catch up on both his much needed sleep and a fairly large backlog of games, he has delayed the continuation of our story up until now."

"Life once more will be breathed back into our story but there are several matters to attend to first before Shibosho begins on the next story post. First and of most importance is the story direction. The last few story posts were done while Shibosho was trying to juggle his ever-important study and homework time with his much enjoyed quest writing. As with many writers, upon rereading what he last wrote, Shibosho has come to the conclusion that he can do much better than what he has written last time he was here. Many ideas and plot bunnies went through our writer's head during his short sabbatical and he desires to put them into play. "

"However, he is unsure of what point should he begin anew."

"Should he discard the last post and present to all you a new story path?"

"Or should he push through the current state of things and continue where he last left off?"

"Or perhaps we should wipe the slate clean and begin once more at the very beginning of the second episode of our story?"

"So I ask this of you all, what shall Shibosho do?"

[ ] Reboot from the start of episode 2

It's alive? IT'S ALIIVVVEEEE! I missed this.

[X] Reboot from the start of episode 2

I'm also up for "Retcon the last post" as that one was the lowest quality - The other episode 2 ones were pretty good.

[X] Retcon the last post

I don't want to give up what we gained from the other two posts
