Moonlit Phantoms
He was going to die. He knew that and accepted that. The beast was charging at him with a mighty roar, and he saw his life flash before his eyes.
His friends.
His loneliness.
His hopes and dreams.
His sufferings.
Everything replayed themselves like a show on replay. He could only stand there and watch as the thing drew closer.
What was it called again? Ah right, a Phantom.
He didn't know why but a memory replayed itself again. The moment he tried to fly. He could recall the pain he felt. The blaring of the sirens and the white of the hospital room. His parents crying face.
His parents...
What would they think if he died?
...Oh, right. He already knew.
The memory was replaced by another one. The moment his dog died.
Takkun. We'll meet again soon won't we? I'm sorry I couldn't be a hero...
He almost laughed. For a second the beast was replaced with a speeding car. Guess they switched places huh? Now he was the victim, he almost expected Takkun to appear at any moment and save him...
"LOOK OUT!!!" A voice shouts towards him. The magical girl from earlier pushed him out of the way, taking the blow for herself. He could swear that she became Takkun for a moment.
He fell back to the floor and looked at the girl in horror. Her outfit from earlier gone, replaced by normal wear stained with blood.
The sight chilled him to the core. It reminded him to much of that day.
Self-hatred welled up inside of him.
Why!? Why couldn't he do anything?!
"H-Here, take my Phantom Drive." The girl coughed out. She held up a bracket with a star shaped charm in the middle of it.
A small voice in the back of his head told him to touch it.
If he had a wish...
It would be to be a hero.
His fingers touch the bracelet and a flash of light blinds him.
A searing pain burns his hand as a red star mark appears on your hand. The pain stopped him from doing anything as the Phantom drew near him, lifting it's claws up.
Before it could do anything, a slash of golden light cuts through it. The beast just stands before disappears in a puff of smoke.
Something hits the ground with a dull thud, the only noise that comes besides the gentle wind blowing at him.
In front of him stood a women who seemed to sparkle in the moonlight. Wearing a white armor that had blue stars spotted on it. She held a golden sword with both her hands.
Releasing one of her hands grip on the sword, she pointed it towards Ando.
Somehow, he knew he would never forget this moment.
"I am Stardust Saber. By your summoning I come. I ask of you, are you my master?"
