Hybrid of the Old Ones (WHF Quest)

Yeah understood but most DMS (me included) have creatures built around that, but in this case it's fine.
Not to mention, If we bring our sibling in, we get a +5 to a stat, and we have a Gene feat coming up (which can net us another +5), and the Gene Slots: which if we meet the Dwarfs and Sky Titans, might provide some more oomph to the physical side.

Inner DND player: With the Gene Sequence thing, we gotta pick up some mega powerful traits. And to do that, we have to go very far in the past, before they become extinct.

Also we have a thousand years... we might even go to Cathay and try to get a sample of the Dragon Emperor :V

To get DE's Gene sample you gotta get past the 1,000+ Dragons, and the millions of humans, and the astromancers, in general a lot of FU levels of difficulty, unless you make a certain Level 5 spell, and when I say make I mean you create your own goddamned spell, which you can do when you hit the Cap for Magic Skills (the cap is 10, others have higher caps, but they cost less to increase per level and don't got Level 5 spells and Overcast to take into account)

And that's why the next feat i'm after is Gene Storage.
Then we won't need a physical sample, just coming in contact with him or one of his descendants :V.
Since we're quite far back in time, there won't be many Dragon Blooded.... but those that exist will be relatively closely related.\

Edit: Unless i'm misunderstanding how gene storage works.

You just need a physical example, then you record Gene Info from sample immediately, then you fuck off with your life, yeah Gene storage should be able to do that, Diplomacy a go I guess, and charisma has well, also you can get a Dragon Waifu, if you really tried, but DE's Gene is going to have the stronger buffs due to being named, and not a standard creature of his race, though his close kin would have similar, all be it, weaker traits.

[X] Plan Lizard Wizard
-[X]: Strength: 5

-[X]: Intrigue: 5
-[X]: Learning: 17
-[X]: Chimera
-[X]: Gift of Intelligence, Gene Splicing
-[X]: Araby
-[X]: -3584
Does this work?
Edit: Fixed things up and pushed the date way back
Perfect, thank you.

I got it finally,

Sounds like a plan :p.

There's also the feat to replace the gene traits with a stronger version, if we run into one of his descendants first, and then later meet the head honcho.

What I hope to accomplish
1) Prevent the fall of the Chorfs to Chaos. That is not a part of the Great Plan. Hopefully, our summoned monsters and magic will be able to lighten the pressure on them, and they do not lose hope in their western kin.
1.5) Probably create a helper races to assist them in colonizing the mountains of Mourn.
1.75) Through the eastern dwarf empire, encounter the Sky Titans. Sky Titans and Dwarfs (imo) mix very well. Both are artisans... just on a different scale.
2) The Old Ones have not decreed the extermination of Sky Titans, because they didn't sic the Saurus Legions on them, therefore their existence is part of the great plan. The combined might of the Dwarfs of Mourn, the servitor species and the Sky Titans should put up a better fight against the ogres.
2.5) The Ogres are also children of the Old Ones... why are they acting like Barbaric Locusts instead of Fighting Chaos?

There's a huge span of time between 1 and 2, around a thousand years, but I doubt we can travel far enough to teach Skaven that Warpstone is Bad, and teach them to be Gentlerats :V

Edit: If we miss the boat with Skaven... we shall create Catfolk! In true Old one style.

I will say that there was a thousand+ sapient races on Mallus, and were left with X amount (I don't remember how many there are but I know it isn't 20 or above), and for Skaven, I mean when AoE procs you get to make a Skaven Priest of Evolution or a Warchief, while I make a Overlord and we get to decide to make our own home or overthrow the pinkskinned on top, also the Warpstone would only empower their evolution, since that is a viable and controllable resource for you and your technical priests since in this timeline, it was made has a resource for you by the old ones.

Isn't warpstone crystallized Chaos, and therefore not part of THE GREAT PLAN(tm)?

You assume that they didn't find a way to purify and utilize Warpstone, which can be a very effective bio-weapon, or how to make stable non-chaos Warpstone, nah they did, though the Skaven are going to find out that they need to purify/refine that shit before they do anything with it, since that shit is permanent now (no literally it grows on the fucking moons, chaos or no chaos Warpstone ain't gonna stop appearing or growing (yeah it can grow, weird ass mutagenic rock)), also it's formed from Pure Fucking Magic, chaos just allowed it to grow by bringing about magic and the 8 winds.

I actually read the wiki page: the Elves have a theory that Warpstone was a power source for the Old ones, and that the current disaster is due to said power source being allowed to act on the world undirected.

Interesting. We Must Learn moar :V

I mean why wouldn't they, it's magic uranium, why wouldn't a race at war not find a use for that shit.

Did you guys know that the Skavens somehow found a way to get warpstone from the freaking moon
Yes, the leader of Skavenblight had this entire plan about using a Warp Tractor Beam to pull down Morrislieb from the sky, that is literally one of the 2 canon Skaven End Games, where Skaven win, the other was summoning the Great Horned Rat, Skaven are mad scientists, they have to be of unequalled genius.

I mean I think they also collect warpstone fro the moon itself

-[X] Region: The Dark Lands
-[X] Date: -4000 IC
-[X] Chimera
-[X] Chimera Feat: Gift of Intelligence
-[X] Gene Feat: Gene Stabilization

Rationale:
-4000 IC in the Dark Lands puts us in a decent position to help the Chaos Dwarfs, the first "order faction" to fall to chaos.
it also gives us enough time to help the sky titans, -3000 IC
And the skaven -2700 IC.

I picked an Intelligence/Charisma build to be good at magic, and talking to people.

@SegaCD: Chimera creator is a class feature of the Chimera Class, you don't need to take it as a feat.
Wait a minute, IRON FIST Gene Stabilization is a starting feat, you already have it

in that cases, +5 Endurance... at endurance 16, we're decent :)
Don't forget that optimized adds a 1 to all personal stats, and should've chose charisma to be a pretty boy, and have a chance to roll a tier 4 Beauty Trait, also you get Renaissance Man has a trait from having a 22 unaffected learning stat, it's above Genius and your children have a 50% chance to be Genius, and a 100% chance to be bright if not genius, Renaissance man isn't inheritable.
