[X] Go with Steinbeck's plan.
[I think I'll go with Steinbeck's plan.]
[Wait what.] "The General" said.
[Good choice, now let's hurry,] Steinbeck said, throwing over a bag over his shoulders as he opened one of the back windows. He looked out for a bit before motioning you to come with him and coming out the window silently.
The General followed suit with Adalwin following too, only to fall and be caught by Steinbeck before she hit the ground. You tried doing it but you almost fell, grabbing the rim of the window with your leg before you hit the ground with your face. [I'm okay. Just... hanging...] you whispered.
[You have good reflexes. That's going to be useful for you in the future,] was Steinbeck said before putting down Adalwin. [The entrance is not far off.]
You ran quietly in the allway until the four of you found yourselves at what appears to be a dark-alley club of some sort.
Steinbeck spoke up, [Okay, in this bar contains an assortment of some of the most dangerous criminal minds in Germany. It's best if you don't anger them.]
[I'm starting to regret following you and instead asking if I can go back to my mom...] Adalwin said as you felt her whimper a bit.
[Don't worry! Everything will be fine!] the General assured her.
You nodded as he opened the door to reveal... that the entire place is filled with Chibis... The bar itself was actually kind of nice; to the right is the bar itself which has an expertly carved wooden countertop with a line of various drinks. What seems to be the bartender is some sort of a cross between a grey wolf and a man wearing a white shirt underneath a black vest with black pants. To the left is a stage where a cute little Chibi in a pink fluffy dress and fake bunny ears is singing and the air smells very nice and smooth. The atmosphere was overall calm, really. Close to the stage is a group of Chibis wearing formal suits and matching hats with one of them wearing a cute black dress. A group of Chibis closer to the bar is wearing an assortment of sweaters, tank tops, baggy pants, shorts, and caps. In the middle... You have no idea how to explain their clothing other than that it's very colourful and outlandish yet very beautiful in a way... and they're all staring at you.
[Hey guys, how's it going?] the General spoke up as she greeted the occupants of the bar.
In reply, the occupants murmured with some shouting things like [I feel fucking great!] or that one that stood out to you greatly which went something like [I stubbed my toe on someone's dead mom!]
However, a Chibi from the formal side stood up. She had a cute black dress that had a round fluffy skirt and a modest top with strings over the shoulder. She had a purple flower in her black long hair which reaches her feet. She skipped over to your group as she made a bow. [Hello Stenbeck, "General." Nice to see you here in our... humble abode.]
[Is it really that humble?] the General replied. You sense a bit of sarcasm in her words.
[Hmp, it's humble to me, at least. Anyway, what brings you here to Bar Glücklich (Happy)? And who are these two?]
[That's uhhh.... What's your name?]
[Adalwin.]
[Yes, Adalwin. Don't worry, she's basically just a normal kid. That other person over there is a bit more important... I don't really have much time to explain but I'm going with Steinbeck's boring ass plan to use your smuggling route to get Homura here out of this dump.]
[Oh, and aren't you forgetting to introduce me to your new friends here?]
[Oh, sorry about that. Homura, Adalwin, this is Butterfly, she owns the bar here.]
[So she's going to get us all out of here?] Adalwin asked.
[Correction,] Steinbeck said, periodically opening the door to see who's outside. [She's going to get Homura and "The General" out of here.]
[Wait, I thought we were going with them.]
[Adalwin, it would be a very bad idea for two natives of New Gengenbach to suddenly disappear without a trace. It would be better if we stayed here.]
[I guess, that makes sense.] She seemed sad for a moment but she quickly cheered herself up a bit.
[Oh? So you're going to use my smuggling route and expecting that I won't ask anything in return?] Butterfly said, putting a finger to her lip.
Thus the first time you saw "The General" look scared, telling you that Butterfly has something in mind that scares even "The General" (or at least something that can only scare "The General").
[I need you to... lend me an invitation to that secret weapon showcase you're doing at Castle Wewelsburg.]
"The General" was sweating more. [How did you know about that?]
[You know, for a Chibi who's said to be so mysterious that no one even knows your true name, you let out a lot of secrets now and then.] She let out a giggle, then she turned to you. [As for you, I don't like freeloaders, so you'll have to help out my men as they smuggle out the goods. Got it?]
[Uhh... question though...]
[Yes?] She's perking up her ears.
[What is it that you smuggle?]
[Eh? Don't you know? Oh well, guess some people live under a rock.] She went over to the very back of the room and knocked on it on a few times, with about two pauses in it. [About two pauses? Huh? Also, numbers up to ten are written, but if you follow the CMOS, you spell them out until a hundred.]
The wall opened up to reveal an elevator of sorts and a table with a Chibi pushing it. On the table is something that appears to be eggs wrapped in foil and plastic bags of brown beans. [These my friends are my merchandise, German-made Kinder Surprise...] She held it up and unwrapped it, revealing an egg-shaped chocolate. Shecracked it open, eating the chocolate pieces as it revealed a sort of plastic capsule. Inside it was a toy cat with a hammer. [...And these beans are for coffee.]
[What's so illegal about those?]
Adalwin spoke up. [They outlawed them with the justification that Kinder Surprise is a choking hazard and that coffee will inspire uprising.]
[Dumb reasons, I know. I think they just put up those laws just to fuck with the lower and middle class. Especially since Germany and Canada are the only ones that can make them any more. Good thing I had my friends strip the remaining factories of the equipment for our uses.] She gave a giggle. [So now that we have our things ready... Who's ready to make a transition?]
The Chibi from what you're going to call the gangster side spoke up first. [WE CALL DIBS ON THE COFFEE BEANS!]
Someone from the middle group stood and tried walking over to the other, mumbling about how she'll smash their skulls in before her group came up too and restrain her.
[Please, may you Chibis please be considerate and wait for your turn to buy one of our item-]

[This is the Beowulf Institute of Knowledge, we would want to enter inside and ask a few questions.]
[No, not now!] Steinbeck said, trying to restrain his voice as to not let the BIK hear him.
[OH NO! WE ARE, LIKE, SCREWED DAWG!] said a gangster Chibi.
[YEAH! LIKE, WE GONNA DIE NOW,] said another gangster Chibi.
[Eh, I was expecting this to happen at one point,] Butterfly said.
