It would progress like this

WTF -> Huh... interesting -> Let me poke at it -> WTF (depending if she manages to locate the Honkai part of the DNA.)
I mean… by virtue of being a plastic-esque material, the body would become naturally immune to majority of infections (ironic) as there would be no compability with what can afflict a person and what can afflict a Herrscher

Herrscher, how do they work :V

Actually, it probably be alarming for those in the know that Tay is actually silicon being like certain "Really unncessary plot device" crystalline kaijus

Huh... so keep Aponia far, FAR away from Amy at all cost. It's probably a good thing she's very dead physically(?).

Aponia will probably poke at all of Amy's berserk buttons with the best of intentions...

Oh absolutely.

Fairly certain she'd get necrosis on her arms before she could read Kevin's physiology. Or frostbite at the very least.

It is why it would be worse:evil:

Doesn't Shaper ensure that only direct physical harm effects her. Like no sickness ever, no adverse effects from smoking and all that jazz or was that fanon.

Also Aponia poking Amy ends with her either dead or no longer on the path of the Red Queen. If that even is applicable with us running around.

Well this is awesome watched with the power of the sun.

edit: also want to bet that Glenn is probably green with envy right now and pissed that he can't hire her.

Question. Will Taylor be getting any of the Gems or is that too much for anything on Earth Bet short of Zion. Also how will Taylor grapple with the fact that by the nature of her existence and the task given to her she is anathema to all that lives.

Both are interesting questions. She will technically be able to get other gems if she follows down a rather unlikely path, but otherwise, other gems will find other hosts.

As for the second question... I will admit I can´t answer it faithfully, because it works on a false presumption. Honkai is not anathema to Life. At best, it has been shown to be harmful to Life in excessive quantities, however, it has also aided lifeforms in recovery and growth.

An Argument can be made that the Will is anti Life, but even that is not the case. It can not even be called anti civilisation. It is literally one of the fundamental buildings for it.

I am unsure what Task you are referring to. She has a very specific task in eliminating the entities for now.

Well, you can argue that Honkai really hates existence (aka Imaginary Tree). But really, just think of it like very twisted counter force where it will always try to test any world bubble inside the Sea of Quanta and prune any failure. Or you can argue that it's somekind of Heaven bullshit ala Xianxia where the entire world get tribulation each time they passed certain threshold

I asked about the Gems because of Serenity. Need I say more?

As for the task I did mean Zion's death and that to kill him she is gonna have to build up, that means a lot of Honkai energy in the air. It is corrosive to all things not engineered to resist it by virtue of it providing a better challenge and more DATA for the experiment. Even in the CE with Project Stigmata having gone online a small sized eruption vapourizes the men with their low resistance and turns the women into zombies. Wasn't there a figure given that even with the project one in a couple 100k have resistance worth a damn. And healing requires specific equipment and techniques to work.

I've read your thoughts on the matter but because of her status as a Herrscher Tay will eventually produces a lot of the energy, it'll be contained as her skill grows but in a world whoose first introduction to the Eldritch horror is Taylor... well at a certain point you just can't keep it safe around normal people she is gonna have to move her operations (the reactor and the army) to someplace with no people. Her being in others presence for long periods of time while channeling large amounts of energy (Endbringer Battle) is going to remove decades from their clocks in a matter of minutes.

Just asking if it'll be addressed because if so then that's some spicy developments in the future. Though I understand the challenge of such a thing and so shying away from it too. It'll kinda ruin the whole quests feel if we slip, ya'know with Harem Protaginist EX running in the background and every Taylor in the Multiverse channeling their luck towards Herrscher!Taylor in a weird kind of luck spirit bomb.

Feel free to bash my interpretation of the Will of Honkai and Imaginary tree, but I believe that the Will of Honkai is a symbiotic entity existing alongside a multiversal construct that is the Imaginary Tree (perhaps the tree isn't the only multiversal constructs and there are others). Will of Honkai, as a symbiote, sees to the needs of the Imaginary Tree and said tree continously grows. Any good gardener will tell you, that often, you need to prune the branches. That is why it continuesly pulls and rips off branches, leaves and-so-forth. Not every one of these universe will make a fine foundation for another healthy sprout… The problem is that the Will is rather… perfectionistic. And it's criteria are very high, so it is merciless in its dimensional removal.

Neither really fits the mold of what we know, actually. The first literally can not be unless we assign the Will an actual individuality beyond what is needed, which is implied to be not really the case in canon. And even then, it can not act upon the indiduality.

The second, the comparison to the counterforce is one I have.... issues with. Because the counter force is a very specific concept that really can not be twisted in any level of functionality and origin. That being said, I do agree with it being a tool for testing.

Honestly, the simpler, more accurate comparison would to say that the Honkai is an bot with high levels of permission granted assigned to test for a specific value.

I see. Interesting. And it would be inarguable true if Honkai had the same seemingly inborn qualities to it as in HI3.

I think I explained a while back how I see the relationship between Honkai and intent, but an important thing to consider here is this.

In HI3, the Will of the Honkai was explicitly against humanity due to it testing it against itself.

Here, the Will doesn´t care to test such a thing. It has recieved it´s answer on that particular query. It has no point in keeping that attribute when it would effectively screw over what it wants to test.

That being said, Honkai isn´t harmless to others, something that will be expended upon rather soon.

Did people forget that Danny was in direct vicinity of Bella using rather large amounts of Honkai ?

I do agree somewhat.

Honestly, I think I have made my interpretation of it quite clear by the exposition delivered by Sirin, so I am unsure if I need to explain it again or not.

No you don't. I was just curious about you had planned? Had to ask if we were on the path of Mihoyo levels of emotional damage.

I mean...... maybe. Like, here is the thing. I hate being grimdark. I can do it, look at Missy´s omake, but then look again, and you will find that I really don´t like to end things on a shitty note. We have enough grim shit in this world.

I will treat topics with the respect they deserve, as good as I can, and things like Rune´s suicidal episodes can happen, but my general intent for this quest is not to be horribly depressing.

Nah, not that kind of hate? The "Flame hate fires thrown into it" kinda hate, action-reaction kinda thing.

Just think of it as a force of nature like magnetism or gravity. You do things or affect things, it will respond in kind.

Hmm, maybe, maybe not. I tend to use the older interpretation of Honkai so it's probably not very accurate. But I don't think that's quite accurate? The "Will" of Honkai itself really don't care much about the Tree so much as Fire care about a tree in a forest since it's fire.

*looks at the entirety of Girl Gun Z and just Honkai Impact history in general* Umm...I guess at least APHO exist so it's not as grimdark?

Not sure I can agree with that, beyond assuming we can agree to disagree on some details. We know it is intellgent enough to recieve orders, or at least serve as tool, since it is confirmed that something is in control and above it.

I get that, but I wouldn´t really describe it as hate. Maybe adverse ? Hate strongly implies emotional context.

I mean i can understand why people wouldn't trust the will seeing as it has no problem with manipulation. (Senti for instance)

afaik Honkai is just something every universe born from the Tree has to deal with, if it actually hated humanity they'd be double triple dead already. The hate part is probably just to get the Herrschers to do their job because otherwise you'll get a Welt.

Eh, an animal can see a robot-animal and thought them as intelligent, while human can think that the actions of other humans simply too silly for actual human to make. Honkai simply operate in magnitudes beyond our comprehension that calling it intelligence might be both underestimate and overestimate it. For all we know, it's simply following sets of instructions that too grand and complex that it looked intelligent. Or maybe its mind simply too vast and abstract for us truly comprehend.

In the end, don't think too deep about it. Honkai does what Honkai does. Heck, in one timeline, Otto actually succeed reviving his waifu, God Kiana reset the world, and Wendy actually dangerous, plot relevant, and threatening! We can't really understand how Honkai "thinks" with those examples that happening in a single world.

Not that kind of hate, MMO kinda hate. I suppose you use aggro in western side of the world? You do stuff, the monster will react and focus on you.

People wouldn't trust the Will simply because it's the Will. Do you really trust some incomprehensible being that can only really be felt by people who actually met it? Human already having hard time trusting other human or even inanimate objects, much less something that the closest thing to god-like.

Let's see… APHO ended up on a fully fledged alien invasion, MC has permanent Honkai scarring, Welt was thrown into another dimension entirely and on his way was desperate for a way out, which didn't appear, Bronya's newest Arahato game gets delayed… yeah, APHO is too, very grim.
