I think it's less than money has no value to him and more that if you want to change the world you need more than just deep pockets. Zen wants people with ambitions and dreams, who are willing to work themselves to death to achieve it. A group that's willing to do anything for money isn't new. and unless they impress him, he probably won't care.
I imagine he'd at least if not stick around, Visit Zen sometimes, Because I imagine he'd not want to be as bad a father as Dario.

I think that'd mean it'd just blow up whatever it was drawn on? I'm not sure that heat or pressure would be transferred, even if the light from the explosion would.
