Halkegenia Online Thread 7: "Arrun Noir"

There won't be, given the way Halkegenia usually treats non-humans the Fae are just lucky they had something that the Nobles of Tristian needed.
Putting aside questions regarding the present situation and that assessment, I was clearly referring to the future ("someday, when the country isn't at war and the landscape grows more industrialized").

If nothing else, Tristain is probably too busy currently to deal with all such matters, especially if they continue to keep a low profile. As for the long-term, we need only to look at our own history to see what industrialization and modernization have wrought. (The presence of the Fae may also help jump start changes in attitudes, since they bring modern modes of thought with them; their longevity ensures the founders' opinions will linger.)

TH, please tell me you have weekends. :(
Usually. Obviously there will be days where I have to work late, but it's mostly a straight 9 to 5 job, maybe 8 to 5 but I prefer to work through my lunchbreak. :)

Though I am a little worried that the starting pay is a bit low. Here's hoping I manage to prove myself.

Oh you poor poor sod.
That's the life of an engineer. And I should rather say, its poor for a starting engineer rather that dirt poor. I could live off of it on my own if I really had to, but thankfully the job is close enough that I can live from home.

Still...my mother is an drafting engineer, I know the long hours she put in while I was growing up, all on salary. I feel for ya, even if the pay is decent enough.

Bleh, I got the first half of chapter 6 part 4 done but I got distracted with car shopping. Finish the rest tomorrow.
